First of all, I would like to say, that it's the best place to stay in Paris. Wonderful location, we could walk everywhere, and if not, the metro was right next to the hotel, the connection from the public place is great. The rooms are small, but we definitely had enough space. By the way, I really want to praise that our room was really cozy and clean. As most write, the sound from the side of the street is there, but what do people want when choosing a hotel in the center of Paris? P.S. the sound was certainly not so annoying as to interfere with sleep.
The whole staff is very kind, apart from one administrator (by nationalism I think from China) who really roughly communicated and answered questions. I would suggest that the hotel give that administrator a note because it damages the hotel's reputation a bit.
In general, weekend was wonderful and those views from the balcony of the room make you go back.

Terrible, wallpaper peeling off, no fridge, smelt of cigarette smoke,played havoc with asthma, rude breakfast staff, could go on, but I am sure you get the gist of it. Location is the only good part of this venue.

I have travelled many times to Europe but this was by far the most unpleasant staying. Problems concerning the room:
- impossible to keep the bathroom door closed
-noises from everywhere, cause basically the ceiling of the 5th floor is made out of plastic
-elevator only till 4th floor, the 5th floor can be reached only by stairs
-poor internet access
-A/C not functional during March
-hair stacked on the ceiling(plastic) of the bathroom
The only good thing was breakfast.
It's really sad to pay 150 euros per night and have these living conditions.

The location is fantastic. And that’s it.
Rooms are extremely tiny, kind of claustrophobic with the windows looking to a wall without any natural light. Only a pink electric light on the window (see picture).
The worst thing is the noises in the night. Continuous claps that drives you crazy and don’t allow you to sleep a second.
Luckily I was only 2 weeks here.
It is a shame of a hotel for a known chain as Best Western.
Rooms are extremely tiny, kind of claustrophobic with the windows looking to a wall without any natural light. Only a pink electric light on the window (see picture).
The worst thing is the noises in the night. Continuous claps that drives you crazy and don’t allow you to sleep a second.
Luckily I was only 2 weeks here.

We stayed here for 3 nights and chose this place for the location. The room itself wasn't super small. The thing that turned us off the most was definitely the bath tub which wouldn't drain after taking a shower and the smell of the sheets. It just smelled horrible and made our hair smell as well.
The location was good because it was close to the center and made everything convenient to walk to. There is a metro station right downstairs. At night on the weekend the outside of this place turns into a huge party. If you are looking for an after party kind of place this is the one for you. When we were leaving at 5am in the morning, the party was still going. Even though there were lots of people outside you couldn't hear it in the room which was good.
The hallway to the rooms is dark and kind of scary. It's an old hotel so it's to be expected. The mini fridge in our room smelled really bad and wasn't cold at all. The elevator is really slow
The service from the reception in the lobby (which is located not on the ground floor) was cold.
Overall I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have no other choice and really like the location.

This is a perfect Paris hotel. Small room, but clean and comfortable. Friendly staff who speak English perfectly. Location is wonderful to get the feel of Paris, right off Passage Jofery. Just lovely.

This is a small, older hotel in a sweet passage in the Opera section of Paris. The rooms are small, but very clean, and the one we stayed in was bright and sunny. It's noisy, but we liked being close to the action. MANY great restaurants are nearby, as is the metro and bus stop. The staff was friendly and helpful. Ask for rooms at the front of the building.
