Hôtel du Prince Eugène in Paris

I gave the 3 star hotel 3 stars, I really can't give it more. Not a bad hotel overall for the money you pay. The room was too small in where you couldn't open a suitcase unless it was on the bed. It was also very dark colored, almost reminding 1970s xxx flicks...not that I would ever watch that stuff!😋 The bathroom was nice but they didn't leave us enough clean towels after they cleaned, and the faucet was so short it barely reached the sink. We didn't choose breakfast because it would make it overall expensive and there is a nice bakery right next door as there is a butcher shop with rotisserie chicken and a Chinese restaurant/deli. There is no parking in the hotel, or less that 10-15 minute walking distance. It's a type of hotel you book at because it's decently priced compared to others, and because you pretty much dont have a better choice for the money.

It was a downtown property so ambulances could be heard at night,. (Not the properties fault). Walls were thin so TV and voices could be heard easily from next suite. Lack of closet space...only 6 hangers. Mini fridge could not keep beverages or food cold. Bathroom was nice and upgraded. TV was situated on the wall in front of the bed so you had to watch the TV in the bed and looking up towards the wall. Just not enough room overall for 2 people in the suite. Did not ude the breakfast so I can't comment on that. Lobby has a bathroom for guest which was nice. There was free coffee in the lobby. Elevator only has a capacity for 2 people...but we were grateful that there was an elevator.
