Reviews
We especially loved the pool. Even though it was underground the sunlight streaming through the glass roof gave it an open, outdoor feel. Breakfast was just right—not overwhelming, but a perfect, fresh start to the day in bustling Paris.
The location is enviable—absolutely perfect. The staff is incredibly friendly and top-notch. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. Be sure to use the concierge—they make excellent recommendations and handle reservations seamlessly.
Thank you, Maison Albar—we’ll be back every time we’re in Paris!”
The following basic issues occurred every day during my stay:
Day 2: No bathmat provided
Day 3: No bathrobe provided
Day 4: No bathrobe again, no tissues provided, and the tablet power was out of order, rendering it unusable
All of these are unacceptable levels of service considering the room rate. I also questioned the attitude that they only corrected the issues after we requested them.
Even more disappointing was the extremely surly and unpleasant behavior of one staff member. I'll state this as a fact: while this staff member was friendly and smiling with other Western guests, he clearly had a different attitude toward us Asian guests.
I don't intend to categorically conclude that this was racism. However, the difference in treatment was so significant that it's not surprising that everyone there felt that way. I don't think this can be dismissed as simply a matter of personal customer service attitude. If a hotel calls itself a "luxury hotel," it should treat all guests with fairness and respect.
On the other hand, the other staff (especially the European ones) were extremely polite and always greeted me with a smile, giving me a sense of security. I commend them for that.
In conclusion, while the hotel's physical facilities are good, the quality of its personal service varies greatly.
I strongly hope that in the future, staff training will be strengthened and a change in mindset will be made to treat all guests equally.
The location and facilities of the hotel itself are certainly attractive, and it is a convenient base for sightseeing. However, if you ask me whether the service and treatment I received were commensurate with the price, I can honestly say that it was "disappointing."

Day 2: Bath mat not provided
Day 3: Bathrobe not provided
Day 4: No bathrobe again, no tissues replenished, tablet power failure made it unusable

I do not intend to conclude that it was racism. However, the difference in treatment was so noticeable that it would not be surprising if everyone there felt that way. I do not think this can be dismissed as simply a "problem of individual customer service attitude."

A TOTO washlet was installed, and the toilet seat was warm and comfortable. The location is convenient, close to the bus stop and subway, and there are many restaurants. The Louvre is also within walking distance. Everyone at the hotel was kind and the service was excellent.
The hotel rooms are all very stylish, and well appointed. The view onto the city street was amazing and something I would try to request when coming back (despite the early morning trash collection!). The hotel also boasts a well appointed pool/spa and has a delicious restaurant (though we only used it for breakfast occasionally).
Some issues with the service. Most of the staff was friendly but they did not quite provide 5 star level customer service (problem solving and communication) when things came up like our room not ready on time - they seemed completely unsympathetic. Concierge never replied to emails in advance of our stay. Turn down service was missed one night. Online room service system did not work - allowed orders to be placed but then they were never made. They kept making us try it first before they’d accept an order via phone.
Very convenient location - walkable to major sights. Easy to hop on 5 different metro lines and 3 commuter rail lines (including RER B to airport) within a 10 minute walk. The buffet breakfast with eggs made to order was great but adding oatmeal would have been a good addition.
Pricey for the quality of the room; and bathroom amenities are low quality.
Bed is pretty comfortable and good size for a 6"3 tall person.
Staff seems friendly.
To conclude, good for a business trip.
I forgot 4 bags of ham in the mini bar refrigerator when checked out. This is I bought from Madrid airport as a gift. I called hotel reception at 3pm only a few hours after we checked out to look for the ham hoping to collect them soon. After waiting for two hours without any response I called again and the reception said “we did not find ”. I did not believe. A few minutes later the reception called back for the first time and said they have thrown away my ham. How can you believe: a five star hotel throw away guests’ things without any record or reporting. The ham is brand new and not opened in original nice packing , well preserved in the refrigerator. How arrogant the reception was! She made me feel it was my fault to left my things at the hotel and bother her for it. Yes, she is right: be careful of your belongings! Could not give one star if I can. This can not be a 5 star service, very bad unprofessional guest service. Never back again.
It is only a few minutes' walk from the Louvre.
