ibis Styles Opera Lafayette Hotel

A very well located hotel, with exceptional staff and great rooms. The bed is comfortable and the rooms spacious, especially for a budget hotel option and their description of the room as being for a loner. Breakfast was fantastic, with a selection of cooked food and pastries as well a great collection of cheeses and cold cuts. The best bit was the freshly squeezed orange juice, which tastes so much better than the stuff out of a carton.

Visit did not start well with very poor welcome. You fully understand that rooms in central Paris will be on the small side and pricey but when you get a welcome with indifference then it makes it seem worse.

Things improved when we got to meet Karim on the front desk a couple of days later who was very friendly and helpful.

A reasonable hotel at reasonable price with breakfast. A great front desk person in Karim.

Note to Accor ....please make sure all front desk staff are as helpful here...

Ideal location for a short stay. Rooms are a little on small side. But remember you are in central Paris. What you get are comfortable beds, good breakfast options, coffee and water 24/7. Clean room and public areas and great staff. Big shout out to Karim. Very friendly and professional

My 5 star review is based on price point. We got 50% off a second room bringing the price to $300 for two rooms. They gave us the top floor with two rooms across the hall and only two rooms. It was basically a suite and perfect for a family. The rooms were smallish, but the beds were decent and the rooms were clean.

Breakfast was included and excellent. Staff were top notch and very helpful

I'm giving 5-stars for location, but let me say more. It's a busy area and not the cutest - very urban and not as much character, but it's hoping with restaurants and bars. It's walkable to almost everywhere and there are several Metro lines within a short walk. Looking back, I would have stayed in Place de la Republique. It's a little less central, but the area has more character.

Overall, no regrets and a great value.

I'm a regular client in Accor hotels. The quality is the same all over the world. So no unpleasant surprises.
This Ibis Styles has a neat, clean, modern interior. Rooms are small but well maintained.
Staff is super friendly and helpful.
Next to it is a Mercure hotel from the same hotelchain. If the price there is close to the Ibis, then possibly think of choosing that option ... with the risk of missing out on the friendly staff 🙂

Excellent service! All employees spoke very good English which made communication easy and this hotel is next to some of the best restaurants in Paris and are very reasonably priced. The best part was AFTER we checked out they held our luggage for over 12 hours at the front desk FOR FREE while we explored town. Rooms were clean and street noise was minimal. I can't imagine a better place to stay for a Paris visit!

Cheap and cheerful but decent value for money. Room was very small but adequate for a one night stay. Breakfast was limited choice but okay. Metro station only ten minutes on foot and plenty of decent restaurants and cafes around.
