Ibis Styles Paris Opéra Lafayette in Paris

I traveled this weekend with my husband and son. We arrived on Friday. I had booked a room for three people that was literally in an attic; the elevator didn't reach it, and I had three 20kg suitcases and three backpacks. When we got to the room, it was freezing; it was 13 degrees Celsius in Paris on Friday. I tried to turn on the air conditioning, but it wasn't climate control, just air conditioning. The receptionist told me they don't turn on the heating until October, but the room was freezing, and I was traveling with a child. They left a radiator full of dust, which we had to keep on to avoid being cold. I asked for a room change, but the hotel was full. The next day, they gave me another duvet as a solution, but it's the first time I've ever been cold in a hotel. There's a lively atmosphere in the neighborhood on weekends, and you can hear noise in the room, but not until late. The breakfast buffet was small but very varied, and there was free coffee and water at reception. It's well located; my problem was the room they assigned me, which was in an attic and freezing.

The hotel is centrally located and the staff is very friendly. You can enjoy unlimited hot and cold drinks. The breakfast is excellent. In short, we had a wonderful time.
