Mixed Experience at Marriott Champs-Élysées

As a Titanium member with an upgrade voucher, I was disappointed that I didn’t receive an upgrade. The room’s view was just of the side of a building, offering none of the beauty Paris is known for.

The breakfast was fine for a light meal, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that it was overpriced for the quality. One morning, I arrived around 9 a.m., and there was no fruit yogurt—just plain—and no yogurt drinks at all. The server also didn’t ask if I wanted eggs, and after waiting, I had to eat other items as I ran out of time to continue with my travels. However, I must say that having smoked salmon was a great touch, and it paired beautifully with the salad and flavorful olive oil.

The room cleaning was thorough, and I appreciated the generous supply of bottled water—thank you for that. I’m also grateful to the concierge, who helped when my child was in distress. However, I had trouble communicating with the person at the front entrance, and I felt a sense of unfriendliness. Upon seeing me, they greeted me in Japanese, which was uncomfortable as I’m not Japanese.

I’m not sure if this qualifies as 5-star service, but it seems like the hotel holds its 5-star rating based primarily on its location.🤔

Fantastic hotel!! Great location that you can walk to most sites. Shopping and food is also within walking distance. Staff was impeccable! Always willing to help and was very responsive if we needed anything. This place is more expensive, but if you’re spoiling yourself I highly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful three nights.

We had a great experience with our stay at your hotel two weeks ago in Paris.

The staff was great, especially Lucie and Nadera at breakfast. They were both provided great service with a warm heart. Damien at the Concierge desk was excellent. He went "2 for 2" in terms of great dining suggestions two nights in a row. Also, the head gentlemen in the evenings at the Atrium Bar had provided great service, with a very funny twist. He was an inspiration for our evenings with Chamomile Tea.

It is the people that make the stays a pleasure and successful.

Location of hotel is ideal. Rooms are very comfortable and nicely updated. Our servers for breakfast were pleasant and attentive. We had a great experience many morning with Lucie who helped jump start our day.

Great hotel. I came for the Olympics and this Marriott did not disappoint. Check in was great, they even got me in early in the day. Concierge staff was helpful and friendly. All staff were helpful and pleasant and nice. Food was tasty, pricier than if you went elsewhere but it was super convenient. Service for the restaurant was not great, they forgot about you or they would forget to bring you items. I experienced that on one of the days and noticed others had the same problem. But other than that, 5 stars all the way.

Fabulous hotel right off the legendary Champs-Elysees. We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t explore much but everything we needed was within walking distance. 24/7 room service was a plus, and we had a nice workout at the gym. At Ambassador level with Bonvoy, I really felt they went above and beyond.

Incredible hotel with excellent location! Everyone we encountered was very helpful. The rooms were very spacious and clean. They have several restaurants and a bar to dine at. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall it was a great hotel. The front desk and service staff downstairs were amazing and very nice. Also the hotel entrance staff was great. Room service lady will knock once and walk in without waiting even 2 seconds. I absolutely did not like that considering I was getting dressed and had the privacy tab on the door. Check out is at 11 not 858am!!! Very unprofessional stop trying to get into our rooms early!!! Manager needs to address this. Other than that great hotel.

Love the friendly and helpful staff. This is our second stay here in Paris and I am refreshed every time I enter the hotel. The breakfast options and staff have been enjoyable, the concierge staff could not be more helpful, and the atmosphere is restful. Love the shower -- I'm grateful for good water pressure, warm water, and good towels 😄. I will always be a Marriott fan all over the world.
