3/5 – Great Location Near Rue Mouffetard
Hôtel Maxim Quartier Latin has an excellent location — right by Rue Mouffetard, one of the liveliest streets in Paris filled with cafés, restaurants, and local shops. It’s a wonderful area to explore and truly gives that authentic Parisian neighborhood feel.
Although the rooms are somewhat on the smaller side, they were clean and more than adequate for our stay. We also appreciated that the hotel allowed us to leave our luggage while we traveled to Lourdes for a couple of nights and were accommodating when we booked an additional three nights upon our return.
While one staff member could have been friendlier, most interactions were fine overall. With a bit more warmth and attention to guests, this hotel could easily be a great place to stay.

From the moment we walked in, our stay has been fantastic. The room is VERY quaint, but the bed and showered comfortable, but small. The staff is phenomenal and very informative. Alexia has been our saving grace, as this is our first time in Paris. The location is easily accessible in the 5th Arr. As a travel agent, I would definitely recommend.

Everyone was so nice there. Rooms were on the smaller side but it’s actually bigger than the average for that area. They were super accommodation with our toddler, breakfast was delicious. Loved our stay

I stayed in the classic room, it was extremely small, I could barely open my box. The location is great, close to the metro and bus station, close to the notre dame, lots of restaurants close by. The front desk service was ok no issues there. My only issue was how small and outdated the room was.

Loved this hotel! It was clean, accessible, and walkable to all the major attractions or short bus ride if preferred. Very walkable neighbourhood and friendly area close to University and many museums. A lovely cafe or bakery on every corner. Staff all very helpful and friendly. Best of French Quarter.

The service is super good, the front desk speaks good English, there is an elevator, the room may be a little small but very comfortable. The soundproofing is OK, and it is not noisy next to the elevator. The environment is very good, there are many coffee shops nearby, and it is just across the road from the subway station. It is highly recommended.

The location is good, convenient for taking the subway, the room facilities are sufficient but the space is a bit small, the front desk customer service is polite and can answer guests' questions; they can also communicate in English.

The room was very clean and the hotel staff was very nice! There was also free coffee, lemonade and small cakes at the front desk
