Hôtel Michelet Odeon in Paris

This is actually a great hotel for the price! Paris is wildly expensive, and I felt like for the location and size room it was very fair. Comfortable bed, and a surprisingly large shower. Staff were all very nice and helpful as well. Location felt close to things but was so quiet!

Lovely little boutique hotel, staff are all super friendly and accommodating! Rooms are super cute and beds are very comfy. Great location & easy to walk around latin quarter, luxembourg gardens etc. Would definitely stay here again!!

The best hotel I have stayed in!!! Everything has been thought through. Bathroom is glamorous, the marble design is so rich, you are supplied with soap, shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, shower cap, shoe shine sponge, multiple paper cups to use, loads of toilet roll. The rooms were spacious and they cancelled out the noise from outside. I can’t remember which room we stayed in but it was on the ground floor and I would recommend anyone to book it! This was such a great stay all the staff were friendly and were so funny. Only thing we would have wanted changed was to have a lock on the bathroom door but it was all very nice hotel we will visit again!!

The hotel is in 6th district, excellent location that near to the metros and train stations.

The location of this restaurant is average. It is a bit far from the core subway station. I suggest you check other options. I don’t recommend breakfast. There is nothing for 10 euros. The dining table is about two meters long. Imagine how much food can be placed on it. The coffee machine takes up a quarter of it. Put two slices of bread and that’s it. It is very close to the Luxembourg Gardens.

The hotel is located in the 6th district of Paris, right next to the Luxembourg Gardens, and only 7-8 minutes away from several subway stations. There is a theater in front of the hotel, and there are bars and some Vietnamese and French restaurants around. I booked a family suite with a large bed and two 1-meter single beds. The window opens to a small street next to the Luxembourg Gardens. It is generally quiet at night. There is a double basin washbasin and a bathtub. I like the decoration style.

We loved so many things about this hotel. The location is fantastic! Rooms are very clean and updated. Beds are very comfortable, wonderful linens, and showers are hot and have great water pressure. I see other reviewers mentioning rude staff, but we had uniformly good experiences with the various staff members.

We were, however, disappointed with our room. We booked one of two two-room family suites. The photos of the family suite on the internet are obviously of the other unit (54). Our unit (55) was significantly smaller. It appears to have been a one-bedroom suite that was turned into a two-bedroom family room by constructing a teensy closet in one corner of the living room. The room with two twins was Paris-small but tolerable, but the room with the queen bed was so small that it was almost claustrophobic. I stuck my foot out from under the covers and smacked it into the closet wall, about 6 inches away. The head of the bed was just a couple of feet from the door, which opened right into the elevator lobby and then the main lobby. It was so loud that we were forced to sleep with ear plugs in. The office was in the room immediately next door, and the staff didn't appear to make any attempt to be quiet in the morning when we were still trying to sleep. The only furniture in the room besides the bed and tiny nightstands was the smallest of desks with a tiny chair. Nothing else could fit in the room. There wasn't anywhere to put a suitcase.

Anyway, we were a little bitter that we got tricked by the photos for the other (larger) family apartment. The diagram in the photo shows the two family apartments. The L shaped part of 55 is a hallway and the bathroom, FYI. We got a peek in the other family apartment and it made us sad. We would consider staying again, but definitely not in room 55, and not next to the office.

Breakfast was excellent quality, but selection was limited. I'm not sure it's worth what they ask.

Also -- highly suggest upgrading the vent in the bathroom. The corners of the room are showing mildew. It was really hard to get it dry in there.

Love love love this hotel! Old world charm right in the middle of freaking Paris! Literally around the corner from Luxembourg Gardens. Charming, you can feel the history in this district. I was on the top floor and I left the window open all the time. Looking at the rooftops over Paris was magical. It truly is magical. It's fall. The cool air is amazing. I could have lived in this one little room. Forever.
