The room was clean, cosy, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay. Despite being centrally located, the hotel was surprisingly quiet at night, which made for restful sleep. There are plenty of cafés, bakeries, and local shops nearby, adding to the authentic Paris feel.
The staff were courteous and responsive — check-in was quick, and we appreciated their help with directions and local recommendations.
Overall, a great value for money and a perfect base for exploring Paris on foot or by metro. Would definitely stay again!
The room was too small for five guests. It had only one single bed, one very noisy sofa bed, and one double bed. Upon arrival, we noticed that only hand towels were provided instead of bath towels, and we had to go to the reception to ask for proper ones.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning. The unit in our room was old and completely non-functional. When we asked about it at the reception, we were told that air conditioners in the rooms are only turned on starting May 15th, and outside of that period, they only work as fans. During our stay, it was almost 30°C, which made the room very uncomfortable. When we brought up the issue, the receptionist Dave made a joke about it, which we found very unprofessional and disrespectful.
We also requested someone to check the air conditioner. The night receptionist said someone would come, but after an hour of waiting, we had to go back downstairs to follow up, only to be told he had forgotten.
We did not have breakfast, but we don’t recommend it. From what we saw passing by the reception, the food options looked poor and unappealing.
The hotel is close to a metro station, which is convenient. However, the photos on the website do not match reality. The rooms are outdated and in urgent need of renovation.
Overall, I would not recommend this hotel. There are many better options in Paris with more comfort and professionalism.
