Breakfast was AVERAGE for a Novotel brand. Expensive Rate and minimal selections.
Rooms was Clean and Abundant Towels for Family stay. Clean and Modern. Good Internet but only for 24hrs. need to update again to stay connected.
Service was Average and Lobby assistance for Luggage was slow. ( maybe due to small and cramped Lobby space and many Customers checking in ? )
Overall was a Good Stay. but would stay on other hotels for its price.
children’s bed was essentially a converted sofa. There wasn’t even a single toilet brush in the bathroom we used with the kids. After using the toilet, there was no way to clean it until housekeeping came the next day.
The staff was very polite — reception, restaurant, and cleaning staff were all great. We had no issues over the weekend, but on Monday, starting after 10 a.m., it became impossible to stay in the room during the day due to renovation work downstairs. You could hear drilling noises from every direction. We assume this is just a temporary situation.
Lastly, the location is truly excellent — just steps away from all the major historical landmarks and the metro. We didn’t really enjoy the nearby restaurants, so I recommend doing your own research. If you just step out hoping to find a place to eat, it might be hard to come across something really good.
The location is very central, convenient to all the sightseeing spots and transportation. That’s the main reason that we chose the hotel.
Hotel breakfast is very good.
Unfortunately, during our stay the hotel was under construction, so we had a little bit of trouble finding the entrance upon arrival and the main floor was not as nice as in the photos. However, we would definitely stay here again and hope to see the hotel post-construction.
