Renovated: 2009, In 2010 was built a new block of rooms Junior Suite LV (located at the entrance to the hotel, 400 metres from the main building). On the territory of the new rooms has its own pool.
Location: 22 km from international airport of Heraklion, 3 km from the centre of the resort town of Agia Pelagia, 80 m from the beach. Bus stop in front of the hotel (the bus runs on schedule).
Evening entertainment: Agia Pelagia (3 km) and Heraklion (20 km).
The hotel has 246 rooms (95% of them with sea view).
Beach: public pebble (beach in the Bay, down the Elevator, then along the path down), 50 m from the hotel, 1 line. The entrance to the sea: partly rocky (stone slab at the entrance to the sea). We stayed in a sea view room which also overlooked the lower pool and the room was split over two floors. It was a very modern space with plenty of room and a balcony. We had no issues with noise either.
The pool bar snacks were great, with fruit pots and fresh rolls each day, there were also crepes and waffles. All inclusive food was good and had a nice mixture which changed each evening.
Easy communication with staff as they had a WhatsApp feature available.
There was a photographer based at the resort who I would not recommend as he was very pushy and the photos were not worth the price.
The resort itself is beautiful, and the gym was just enough to get a decent workout in. The open bar was a nice touch, and the daily buffet offered hearty, delicious food. I especially appreciated the espresso machine, which never failed to deliver my much-needed caffeine fix each morning.
Location-wise, it couldn’t have been more convenient like 20 minutes away from the airport. The beach was just a short walk away (3 min walk), and there’s a supermarket, a bar, and two restaurants right next to the resort. I highly recommend renting a small hatchback car during your stay—there’s no need for anything larger unless you’re traveling with a big family. If it’s just a honeymoon or a small trip, the hatchback is perfect, as taxi prices can be steep.
There’s no real need to exchange USD for Euros either, as 98% of places accept Mastercard or Visa. The resort also provided nightly entertainment at the main bar, which was fun and lively. The poolside bar, with Dimitri as the bartender, was another highlight. He gave us great tips on places to visit in the city, like ruins and museums.
Lastly, the resort was affordable for the luxury it offered. We spent around $5,000 for a top-tier room with a private pool, though I’d recommend opting for a cheaper room since the private pool isn’t a must.
Overall, this was an amazing stay, and I highly recommend this resort. We will definitely try to come back!

As soon as we arrived we were greeted by lovely team members and taken by golf cart to our room. We booked a Casa Sunset Swim Up Room which meant we had a shared pool that overlooked the resort but you had a clear view of the sea and allowed us to watch the beautiful sunset from the pool area. The room itself was well sized, very modern and clean and the balcony also had a sea view.
Over the week we ate at the main restaurant which was buffet style. Everyday there was a large range of food from starters, sides, salads, meats, pastas, vegan options, desserts and more! It was an incredible selection that varied everyday.
We also purchased a Breakfast In Bed for one morning to celebrate my other half’s birthday and this was incredible!! We were provided with two trays over flowing with a variety of drinks and food. They also then made his birthday even better by surprising us with a cake (I hadn’t informed them about his birthday so that shows what brilliant service they provide!)
The bar area has events every night from singers, dancers, DJs and more. The location is around half an hour away from the airport and there is a bus route that takes you to the nearest town.
Overall the resort was insanely beautiful; is very modern but also traditional at the same time. It is the perfect location to get away and enjoy life in the sun.
