Blue Sea Hotel Alimos

Just came from our unforgettable trip to Greece. Blue Sea Hotel Alimos was our home for 8 days.
Hotel is located in green, quiet and cozy (dream for retirement) residential area. It close to lovely beaches (recommend 15 euro if you stay for entire day or free beach for quick swim) and major public transportation routes (30-35 min-s to ferries by street car and 30-40 min-s to city center by busses).
It’s true that the hotel is not new and some pieces of the floor and furniture have seen a better times but hotel is never the less absolutely comfortable and enjoyable place to stay.
Elena and other lady at reception desk are super friendly, extremely helpful and wealth of useful information. Also many thanks to other team members of the hotel staff (clearing ladies, bar/restaurant attendants, maintenance guys) that keep the hotel clean and tidy. Your hard work was not unnoticed.
The breakfast was pretty decent (for money spent) providing variety of food, some vegetables and fruits, more than enough for breakfast.
If we ever come back to Greece again Blue Sea hotel will be definitely, no doubt our place to stay.

Hotel is very good. We went to Greece for our anniversary and we found very lovely gesture/decoration, roses and note in our room. We went to Netherland and Spain on previous anniversaries, even during booking we put note about anniversary they did not do any kind of decoration.
As location it is close to beaches 5 min by walk, and also close to tram and public transport for City centre. They provided breakfast and it was good as well.
It was nice to stay there for 5 days.

Wonderful staff, great location if you want to be a little away from the busy city centre. Close by the beach, but not so close that you get the noise from the highway. Many local shops and restaurants for snacks and food, and walking to the bus or train to explore is a very manageable distance!
Otherwise, great hotel experience complete with complimentary breakfast, probably the best air conditioning I've had at a hotel (exec. suite).
We had a great stay, and would happily stay here again! ❤️

A pretty nice hotel! We had no complaints. Nice breakfast setup and a nice little dining room. Hotels were spacious and newer. I liked everything about it. I liked that it was in a quiet neighborhood and very close to the beach! If you are looking to stay closer to downtown this isn’t it. It’s about 45 minute to hour from the heart of Athens, but honestly I think it’s worth it to stay here because downtown is full of homeless and people using drugs openly right out in the street. Spare yourself the trouble and stay here close to the beach and in a safer area. The bus ride to the metro isn’t too bad.

Great experience on our final night in Greece! The bartenders were great, people at reception were very kind. Rooms were beautiful, very clean. Nice to have a balcony and a clean bathroom and bedroom!

Great staff, very kind and professional.
Rooms a bit dated and need in a refurb, but comfortable for 2-3 days. I took their most expensive room (executive) and it was still in the small size so I recommend taking this kind of room.
Breakfast ok-ish for 2-3 days but not more.
All kind of very good taverna nearby.
From airport just take the bus and it will leave you just a 3-minute walk away.

Great staff, decent rooms, decent breakfast options (Yoghurt, scrambled eggs, bread).

The staff is so nice, everyone is super friendly and helpful and we even got travel / dinner recommendations!

The 24 hour service is great, we could even ask for an extra blanket in the evening. Great location, easy to walk to Peñarrubia or take the bus to the city center.

They even told us where to get bus tickets (Ola Stores). Overall a great experience, would book again!
