Tropical Hotel

It was one of the worst decisions for us to booked on that hotel. Only the team are very friendly and helpful rest was very bad facilities. The pillows are too hard and high it will give to you neck pain and air conditioner are controlled by the reception. We complained several times but they didn’t changed the cooler mood and we couldn’t sleep at all. It was very hot when we visited. In the toilet exciting fan wasn’t work too. After used all the bad smells comes to your bed room and we complained nothing happened and didn’t bother to offer any other room. In that case we do not recommend at all! Sorry but it’s true! A Disappointing Experience from Start to Finish!

Our family stayed at this hotel for a wedding in Athens, booking 6-8 rooms for at least 3-4 nights. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences we've ever had.

Given the high price of the rooms, we expected a level of service that matched. Sadly, that was far from the case. While the cleaning staff did tidy the rooms, they consistently neglected to clean the bathrooms and never replaced the trash bags—something we found unacceptable.

One of our party booked an executive room at a higher rate, but there was absolutely no difference between it and a regular room. It felt like a waste of money.

The breakfast was another major disappointment. The selection was minimal, and even though it was served until 10 a.m., if you arrived after 9:15, you’d be lucky to find anything left. The staff didn’t bother to replenish the plates, despite knowing the hotel was fully booked. For the price we paid, the lack of variety and limited portions were unacceptable.

The pool was a letdown as well. It was far smaller than the photos suggested, and access required a reservation—something we weren't made aware of beforehand.

To top it off, the reception staff was occasionally rude and unaccommodating, which only added to our frustration.

The worst part? We had booked an additional room for my parents for a 1-night stay the following week. Upon their arrival, without any prior notice, they were informed that their room had a "technical issue" (plumbing problems) and would not be available. Instead, the hotel booked them in a nearby 2-star hotel that didn’t even offer breakfast. Their solution? My parents could return to this hotel for breakfast. Offering such a poor alternative to an elderly couple was both disappointing and disrespectful.

In conclusion, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. For the price, the service and experience were far below what one would reasonably expect.

We stayed at tropical hotel 4 nights and we had a very bad experience.

The location is not bad, near the beach and public transportation stops are accessible.

The reception staff were somehow helpful however very rude and you feel anxious to ask them questions or help.

The cleaning service is bad, they did not wipe the floor nor cleaned the bathroom.

The breakfast has minimal options and if you come after 9:15 you don’t get options as they don’t refill knowing that the hotel was fully booked.

I don’t recomend this hotel and definetly not going back.

Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. 4 stars is too high, I’d give it a 2 star.
The rooms are dirty, you get out the shower and feel like you need socks and shoes on immediately because the floor is so dirty. The bed sheets weren’t clean had to ask for new bedding as there were hairs under the sheets and stains.
The balcony was tiny, a small table and chairs, only dried out swimwear on it as it was too small and the view was a building suit opposite.

Breakfast in the morning wasn’t great, had the basics like cereal and toast, but the extras were things like eggs, croissants and cakes.

The pool is tiny! Only fits 2 people and you have to book. To get to the pool you go through the restaurant and out the back door.

The walls are so thin we heard the people next door whole phone call it felt like they were in the same room as us.

This staff are nice but we didn’t spend enough time with them as we went to the beach everyday until late so that we didn’t have to go back to our room.

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is that the air con is good!

Alexandra in reception was the meanest person we met in Athens. She was very rude, didn’t even wanna make a call to help us. Keep in mind we already had a prepaid room.
The hotel is older than it looks in the pictures, and i do not recommend this service to anyone.

-the stuff were so nice but everything else is horrible! -The street is very loud even when the windows are closed you still hear every motorcycle and car they pass and unable to sleep. - Rooms were so dirty and found a women underwear in the towel on the first day even after asking the room service to clean the room and bathrooms stayed so dirty -the location and neighborhood is in front of the Sea but very bad and unsafe neighborhood and far location. -breakfast is also very cheap
