Cecil Hotel

The best located and offer reasonable price to stay. Also breakfast included. You can walk every part of Athens from the hotel

The hotel is a genuine 2-star hotel:
- The room was mostly small, and there was not a good air circulation for it to vent
- The elevator did work but didn’t feel 100% reliable/safe
- We got there after 09 pm and the man who checked us in only asked for our names and gave us the key. At no point did they check our passports 🫨

Good thing was that there was people at the front desk 24/7. However, we didn’t feel comfortable enough to ask for suggestions or anything like that

Breakfast is on site, and though there is not a lot of variety, the products are of very good quality

Greek yogurt was the best I’ve ever tried in my life! And the honey was also amazing

They also offered cold cuts and cheese. Coffee, milk, tea, orange juice. And I think there were also some fruits

The staff in charge of breakfast and cleaning the rooms were very friendly

Place looked mostly clean, rooms were made every day and clean towels were left by default

The room was clean. The location is good. But that’s about it! There was no hot water to shower. We asked for it to be fixed. Nothing happened. There is no WiFi in the rooms as opposed to booking details. I wouldn’t book again.
