Minoa Hotel

Clean hotel, excellent location (subway nearby). A special thank you to Salvatore, who speaks Italian very well and quickly helped us with an issue we had in Athens. Highly recommended hotel! Salvatore, the receptionist, is the best!

For the special rate of 56 euro for my overnight stay I was very satisfied 3 important things for me number 1 rooms were immaculately clean . 2. Front of staff Valentina and the Gentlemen are always friendly and welcoming and extremely helpful I was offerded a late complementry check out also as it's also my second visit to the Minoa. Regarding the Location is great and a few minutes walk to the Metro to connect you to Synigma square Acroplis ect, some reviews have implicated the surronding neighborhoods it's Athens harden up . I had no proplems this time around or on my last stay.

Although located in a difficult area with many drug addicted lying on the streets, this hotel is well-kept, quiet, tidy and clean. The staff is very friendly and does their best to satisfy the clients' wishes. They do not offer breakfast but the coffee shop Dodici can be accessed by means of a passageway directly from the hotel. Besides the neighbourhood is full of coffee shops and eating facilities. The hotel is very close to the Metaxourgeio metro station and the OSE railroad station. The hotel has a favourable price-performance ratio.

A staple for me in the last 4 years, whenever available.
Never had a bad experience here; top notch cleanliness and very polite staff.
The surrounding area can be dodgy, especially at night, but at the end of the day this is a central point of a touristy metropolis.
Considering the price tag, couldn't recommend it more.

This was a very good hotel the staff was very very nice 👌 even the rooms was pretty old but it was very aesthetic and the bus stand was near.👍👍👍

This was a lovely hotel for my short stay in Athens. I came as a solo traveller this week from Ireland. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived. The hotel is close to the metro station and it's very easy to navigate your way all over the city from there. I would highly recommend.

I can not say enough good things about this hotel. It, of course, is a budget hotel which means that, if you expect the services of a five stars hotel, you will probably get dissapointed but if you simply look for a lovely, clean, safe place located just 5 minutes from the metro that allows you to reach the city center in a few stops, then search no more. The staff is very friendly, some of them speak Italian and they all speak English. I had an issue when there were rude people in the room next to mine who screamed, cried and so on all night long and the staff not only supported me calling them during the night asking to be quite but they also moved me to another, more quiet room so I could enjoy my time there more. They also provide transporation to the airport (you can easily get there by metro but since I am a female who travels alone, having to depart at 5am, I chose to book a taxi) and they also partner with a tourist agency which offers various tours, including to the islands. they are a bit pricey, but along the other prices I have seen. Due to bad weather I didn't take any so I can't comment on the service. Close to the hotel there is a café where you can have breakfast and they can also bring breakfast to your room. There also are a few restaurants a few minutes from the hotel. I would surely suggest this hotel to anyone looking for a budget but safe, friendly and clean hotel right in the center of Athens.

The hotel and the staff are great! Very clean and comfortable room. The only downside is the location, not a very safe feeling area. It is perfect for anyone taking a bus to Albania or Bulgaria as the bus stations for those places is a 2 min walk.
