Acropolis Select

Wonderful experience! We stayed here one night prior to our cruise. The staff is very kind and helpful. We received welcome drinks at the rooftop bar and also had excellent authentic Greek food. The hotel itself is beautiful with a modern look. And you have a great view of the Acropolis from the rooftop bar!
The room had a good amount of space for us. The shower was a little smaller than we are used. They were also to take our luggage for us while we explored the town before and after our reservation. The shop and restaurants are a short walk from the hotel. Overall great experience!!

The staff is friendly, and the room is clean, though it is small. The elevator is tiny, but I later discovered that many elevators in Greek hotels are similar. The only downside was the shower. However, the location is perfect, just 5 minutes from the Acropolis Museum.

We had a great stay. Staff very helpful and kind.
Buffet breakfast had many options. Rooftop bar has a great view of the Acropolis. An average of a 15 mins walk to central areas. Would visit again.

Everything about this place was perfect! The air conditioning was heaven after long hot days of exploring, great location to get around, stocked with everything we needed and the balcony was such a nice touch to enjoy our morning coffee (provided) and our wine & snacks from a local gem down the street. The only issue was the front door to the building itself definitely needs to be replaced, but it was worth every second of minor inconvenience! Highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Athens! Wonderfully romantic for couples.

A fantastic hotel very close to Acropolis while not being right in the middle of all the touristy attractions, which serves to keep the audio levels low while still having local transport within a few minutes.

However the restaurant on this roof is the best part of the hotel by far. Amazing food, with live music, and an awe inspiring view of the Acropolis.

We stayed here in February and while the rooms are not luxurious, they are good value. Round the corner from a bus stop to take you to Syntagma Square and all points beyond. The area the hotel is situated is a bit run down, with some demolition/building work going on while we were there (not the hotels' fault IMHO) but there are several excellent cafés and restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance. As for the people looking after you- First Class - 5 star service from the Reception, cleaning and Rooftop bar staff- it was exemplary, The Rooftop bar staff in particular were outstanding, they catered for our every need, even though we messed up once and got there late, they catered for us and showed what Greek hospitality is all about. Some reviews have noted the views from the rooms is a bit dismal - go to the rooftop bar for one of the best views in Europe. We ate here 3 times, and on every occasion I ate the lot, which as a recovering cancer patient was a first and a huge source of satisfaction and appreciation for how good the food was. Highly Recommended- I'd revisit in a shot.

It's a pretty good place with a decent buffet and really good staff. The automatic locks aren't always clear which way to swipe so you may need to inssrt your card multiple times. The buffet put together for our tour was very good, and the service is absolutely top notch. The balcony in the room would have been nicer if it hadn't looked out the roofs in disrepair and most of the side of a building.

The hotel is pretty great, but with it being in downtown Athens, a person's focus gets drawn to the disrepair of the surrounding buildings and the dirty streets.

Location - The location was perfect, there are a number of great restuarants within a 3-5 minute walk, a 10 minute slow walk to the Acropolis entrance and a 15 minute walk to the center of the old town. There is also a bus service within a 3 minute walk that you can use to take you to the beaches.
Room - The hotel are currently renovating rooms, so you will either be allocated an old room or a new room. We had an old room, it was still clean, well looked after and maintained. As a guess I would suggest maybe the room is 5-10 years old so still completely acceptable.
Breakfast - This was great, a good selection of food, a table was always available and the food was regularly restocked.
Roof top bar/Restaurant - The view form here was amazing, the food tasted really great and there is a good selection of drinks. Perhaps a little more expensive than the restaurants around the local area but that's to be expected in a hotel. I still completely recommend it!
Staff - The staff make this hotel, everyone was so friendly, helpful and welcoming. From reception to the cleaning staff and the bar staff. The staff are a highlight of the hotel and we would go back again just for this!

My first time in Greece and I couldn’t have chosen a better hotel, very close to acropolis, restaurants and facilities. The hotel has a restaurant at the top with an spectacular view. Extremely clean, organised and safe rooms. The hotel even deserves another star. My stay here is exceptional, I highly recommend it.
