Hestia - Ippokratous 35 in Athens

I recently stayed at this property and had a mixed experience. The apartment itself was truly beautiful, very clean, and in a great location – all of which made my stay pleasant.

However, a couple of details left me disappointed. On the morning of my departure, I asked the lady who takes care of the apartments for a single coffee capsule, only to be told that coffee is not provided on the check-out date. I found this rather surprising and unwelcoming – such a small gesture could have made a big difference in the overall experience.

Additionally, the check-in and check-out times felt inconvenient, with check-in at 3 PM and check-out at 11 AM. More standard timings are usually 2 PM for check-in and 12 PM for check-out, which allow guests a little more comfort and flexibility.

All in all, the apartment itself was wonderful, but these service details could definitely be improved to make the stay more guest-friendly.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was tastefully decorated and very clean. Excellent location, very central; shops, restaurants nearby and very close to the metro. The staff was very kind and helpful, responding fast and helped us with anything we needed. Highly recommend!

The accommodation is well located, modernly furnished, spacious, and the reception is helpful and friendly. Our only criticism was the transfer the operator had organized for us, which involved two levels of service. They confirmed a charge of €50, knowing full well that we were arriving on Easter Sunday. On normal days, this is the upper limit at Athens Airport that one would be expected to pay the not-always-honest taxi drivers. The range is between €38 and €50. The driver then told us that he had agreed on €60 with the accommodation operator. When confronted with this, we were told that there would be a €10 surcharge due to the Easter holidays. We were able to officially confirm this. The second level was that there was no sign of the driver upon our arrival. So we had overpaid for a poorly organized service.

An awesome place to stay in Athens. Its an apartment with a great view of Acropolis, & an exceptional customer service, they are not physically around but are very prompt on their reply to our inquiries. The place was super clean, & has everything we need for a family of 5 (3 adults, 2 teens), fridge, microwave & utensils. Also close to restaurants. Will definitely recommend a stay here. Bonus: laundry is available & high speed internet is phenomenal

The location is central, up to 20 min. Walk to any major attraction. The apartment was very clean and seemed pretty new, fully equiped with everything we needed which was more than enough to accomodate a family of 4. Would definetally reccomend to stay and surely come back again.

Clean modern apartments close to center. Apartment was well equipped with all that is necessary.

Lovely view of acropolis from roof terrace!

Excellent place to stay for families with 2 or 3 kids, the rooms are spacious and well equipped. The location is a short walk to the Center in a safe district of the city. The concierge team was always online and ready to answer any questions. The roof top terrace overlooking the acropolis was the cherry on top for the stay.

Very clean and convenient accommodation. We had a problem with the safe lock. But the concierge came to the rescue so fast. Location is very good. I recommend it for couples and solo travelers.

Spacious, clean, lots of food places near. The next door garage is a plus (we drove from Chalkidiki). It takes about 20+ min walk to the most of historical sites. The reason I did not give 5 stars is a bit unsafe shower-the floor tiles and no safety bars on the walls. I am a bit older lady with some knee issues-would appreciate some extras.
