MELO Athens in Athens

We've stayed here twice now in three different rooms and absolutely loved our experience here. The location is great right in the heart of Psyrri and within two minutes walk of Monistaraki. Depending on which room you get and how busy it is on any given night there might be some noise at night but we don't mind that at all. The rooms are clean, modern and roomy enough. We definitely enjoyed the rooms with some outdoor space the most. The people are great and the service is terrific but note that there's no front desk person after 10 pm. You get a code to unlock the door. For the price we highly recommend.

We switched hotels after our first night to Melo hotel. Honestly it’s in the best location. Every staff memeber we met was amazing and nice. Its a small boutique hotel. Our room 501 was great and spacious for 4 of us. One bedroom suite with very nice balcony, clean, and had everything
It really made our last day in Greece great and would highly recommend when in Athens.

We enjoyed our stay here. The front desk was nice and accommodating. They were able to hold suitcases. One downside of the hotel was that the front desk and access to the elevator on the ground floor closes at 10. So if you arrive later than that with suitcases you need to use the side entrance where you will need to carry your suitcases up a floor before gaining access to the elevator. The bed in our room was not comfortable and we woke up very sore. The jacuzzi was nice and surprisingly even after filling the whole thing up we had enough hot water to shower. Melo is in the center of the noise, which quieted down around 2 am during the weekday.

Really nice hotel altough it is more like aparments. The location is absolutley perfect. In the middle of the beautiful area called Psyri and only a few minutes walk away from Monastiraki, the Acropolis or Ermou-Street. The room was really spacious. There are a few negatives; it is quite noisy in the night and they spray a parfum in the rooms that is too strong and also on the pillows which gave me a headache. Also there is no reception after 10PM and you have to take the stairs to the first floor, then you can take the elevator. Could be an issue for someone older with luggage.
All in all we still enjoyed our stay.

Very contemporary in a location that is fun and unique and close to historic sights. Has a wonderful rooftop for viewing with tables. Staff is a lot of fun and lives up to its reputation. This place is not good for handicapped people and even though I was in a wonderful room there were no drawers for belongings or desk for writing. I was shocked that this place had washed clothes available. I stayed in the room with the queen bed and jacuzzi. The bed was so comfortable I had no trouble sleeping here.

Located near shops, bars, restaurants, and withing walking distance of anything you might want to see in Athens. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean and well kept. The view from the rooftop is fantastic and having a private patio to enjoy in the evenings is wonderful.

I stayed here for 4 nights and I was amazed by the incredible location and attentiveness from the hotel staff. The hotel is located in the heart of Athens and only a 15-20 mins walk from the Acropolis and main sites. It is on a busy strip of bars and restaurants and there is plenty going. The Acropolis can be seen from the roof top balcony or balcony depending on which way your balcony is facing. We had a fantastic time here the staff helped us with food recommendations and even called some restaurants to make reservations on our behalf. The rooms were spacious and kept very clean. We had a suite (2 bedrooms and one bathroom). Both bedrooms were lovely ,the jacuzzi was great and the tea and coffee machine and record player was a lovely touch. I cannot fault our stay the only thing I would be cautious of is that the floors are marble so in the bathroom it can get very slippery which was fine for us as we laid out towels but could be problematic for a young family. Also although it was not rowdy along the strip you can still hear some music until 1am (might be later in peak) again this did not bother us.
