Mitsis Faliraki Beach Hotel & Spa

We have stayed at Mitsis Faliraki Beach a number of time and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect if you wish to relax by the pool or the beautiful sandy beach, sight see around the island and venture out to try local restaurants, bars and shops. The rooms are spacious with adequate storage with added beach towels bath towels, products , bathrobes and slippers, the beds and pillows are really comfortable! The food this year was exceptional, huge thankyou to the chefs. If you were to ask us why we return to the same resort our answer would be all of the above but most of all the team, this team are a family, they are always smiling, always asking if your enjoying your stay and if everything is okay , constantly working together to ensure the hotel is clean and to a very high standard. We thankyou all so much for making our holidays so special and look forward to many more visits in the future.

Pros of our stay: Great themed buffet on some nights e.g. Asian and greek. Raina, Alex and Olhas service is outstanding in comparison to some staff. Nice lobby area and front of hotel. Pool bar with pattiserie a nice addition. Comfy sunbeds and no issues getting sunbeds. Well kept room with good supply of mini bar drinks Branded spirits and good drinks at main and pool bar. Less so at beach bar due to staff choice. Brilliant distance to the sandy beach-sea hotter than pools so more appealing for a dip. Great choice of restaurants for lunch, brunch and dinner Slept well with mattress topper making bed into a double Location to Falaraki We did not think the hotel was hitting 5*s for the following reasons: Extreme limescale in the kettle spotted when making up our babies water bottle. Not enough entertainment at all, nothing starting until late and nobody encouraging the little activities that were available. Stairs to the room with makeshift cleaners ramp it was dangerous and meant we had to carry the pram up and down our block numerous times of the day or go out side of the hotel along a bumpy road in the dark. Crib removed without asking when it was needed whilst the baby was getting using to her new environment. Freezing pools mostly empty and could not use room pool that we paid for as it was like an ice bath. The hotel doesn't seem to have enough capacity to sit everyone or serve everyone with big queues at the buffet and not enough seats outdoors for those who want to watch entertainment. The small kids club entertainers (daytime only) that sadly didn't speak any English to the small amount of english kids who joined in and let the children leave unsupervised whilst chatting. Could also benefit from an indoor areas for smaller kids as the kids club didn't allow them. Baby supplies provided but very old and not suitable for her age. Very old baby bath without support and very old steriliser with rust. We were grateful but these should be replaced for next season.

Super staff, fabulous food, perfect beds, good air con, variety of tv channels, great selection of exercise classes, nightly entertainment, shop in hotel foyer, close to airport 16km, 24° in October. Sandy beach, shallow sea entry making watching children a little less stressful. Drinks service on beach. We organized our own airport transfer cost €50 one way for 8 of us, takes 20mins. Be advised that to avoid disappointment, as they often get booked out, you should contact the hotel prior to your arrival to book your evening meals in the 6 à la carte restaurants, each one providing fine dining experiences. Can also book lunches.

We loved this hotel, great vibe, epic food, fab beach. Staff were so friendly. Fabulous pools, lots of sunbeds. Beach is white sand, blue sea. Buffet was very good. A la cartes were Greek and Asian restaurants were our favorites, we had amazing meals there. Sushi was so tasty and beautifully presented. Beds so comfy. Weather was excellent for mid October. 11 year old loved it too. Creperie was a big hit for her. Evening entertainment was very enjoyable.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Mitsis Falaraki and had a very positive experience overall. Theres a lot of choice with 5 different a la carte restaurants so we didn’t find we got bored of the main buffet hall. We enjoyed all of the food. The staff bar a couple were extremely friendly, and taking the time to interact with the kids. The hotel and pools were always very clean, great comfortably sunbeds and no towel saving wars at the crack of dawn which was refreshing. We had a family room at the back of the hotel, the main bedroom was lovely, the kids room off the main one felt a bit of an afterthought with no decor/finishing touches. The family bathroom was also tiny for a family of 4. If you have one of these rooms please be aware of very loud music until 3am from Falaraki. It kept us up a couple of nights. I’m not sure how this noise is heard from different parts of the hotel. Whilst not the hotels fault it’s a shame that it disturbs you as a guest. The beach is really lovely, clean shingle free sand, lovely comfortable sunbeds and crystal waters. Beautiful sunrises. Overall the evening entertainment was good. Kids evening entertainment was lacking with only one evening during our weeks stay where my 6 year old had something to go to. This was our first winter sun holiday. 25 degrees each day, cooler in the eve so jumpers/jackets/trousers needed to feel comfortable. We very much enjoyed our stay.

Totally relaxing and professionally managed with excellent staff to guest ratio. Great food and well maintained pools. Loved it. It was a week of total relaxation and all food - both in the buffet and the individual in house restaurants was excellent

We’ve stayed in many 5 star hotels and there are always things you can fault and the main negative thing about the Mitsis Faliraki is the buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It’s ok, but the food quality and selection is below standard in my opinion for a 5 star hotel. However, I am still rating this hotel as 5 stars because there are so many amazing things on offer. Staff, professional, hardworking and polite. We ate at most of the 7 al a carte restaurants and the food was exceptional every time. The pool area is excellent with plenty of comfortable sun loungers and there are further areas to sunbathe on the beach area and garden area - which are all part of the hotel complex. There are a few bars to choose from and you never have to wait long to be served. Plus the crepe stand is always busy with savoury and sweet crepes on offer. There is also a pizza oven which gets fired up on some afternoons with lovely pizza. Mini bar in the room is free of charge and stocked up with beers, wine and fizzy drinks every day. The location is superb and right at the end of the Faliraki ***** with many bars and restaurants. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cool and clean. The evening entertainment was very decent most evenings with a variety of different acts. My only criticism is that this hotel should allow for a bed and breakfast option because you can’t eat at the al a carte restaurants every night. But I still award this hotel 5 out of 5. Overall it’s excellent and we will return again in the future.

Great Hotel. The staff is superb.
The room are very clean.
Outside a magnificent pool and a beautiful garden awaits the guests. The beach is very well kept and beautiful.
The strongest point of Mitsis Falraky is obviously its cuisine.
I've seldom eat better food like here.
All time I felt surrounded by kindness and attention
However there is only one aspect that requires improvement.
Namely, all the rooms located in the first building, having even numbers between 12 to 24 , 112 to 124, 212 to 224, 312 to 324 are affected by the noise of the ventilators from the kitchen and/or laundry. This makes sleeping with open windows impossible. Even with the windows closed the continuous droning is noticeable.
With that said, I would recommend it without hesitation.

Excellent staff throughout all departments, especially pool bar, main bar and front office (including George, Louisa, Erwin, Adrianna and many many more)

Beautiful beach, some very delicious foods (especially grilled salmon)

Taxi drive from/to airport only 18 minutes

We have just returned from a 2 week holiday was amazing as always Great Sandy beach , beach bar with waiter service Michalis and Nikos such great guys The food is delicious and plentiful..main restaurant with themed nights so good 5 al a carte restaurants on an evening and 1 brunch .. they can be pre booked via the mitsis app ( recommend you do this ) There are 4 pools at the hotel and are fresh water pools they also have some private swim up pools The staff are what makes this hotel very special they cannot do enough for you .. I’m not going to name as I may forget someone.. and from management, receptionists , guest relations, concierge, waiters , cleaning staff all work tirelessly and always very friendly Rooms are quite small but have great comfortable bed , fab aircon , nespresso machine , kettle , mini fridge which is stocked every day
