A great hotel, with good rooms and facilities. We went in october and the pool was a little cold however the sea wasnt to bad. We booked a supior family room with sea view and it was great. Plenty of room looked modern and the beds were really comfy. The facilities we good the snake bar and greek/Italian resturant were nice. The food in the main resturant was nice but felt a little repative. The animation team work really hard, Tibi and Boogy were really good with all the people staying g gettign them involved with activities if they wanted too. The night time entertainment was decent, enough to keep you amused and in the hotel. If youw wanted to step outside the hotel there were plenty of bars and resturants a few minutes walk away. Or a taxi or shuttle bus in to rhodes town was not expensive.

We got a great deal on this place as it was end of season (very end, it shut the day we left) but met multiple couples who payed over double what we did.
The welcome was pleasant and helpful and we had been upgraded to a twin room. The atmosphere was also nice, quiet due to the time of year but still a bit of a buzz with children playing football and adults lounging about. The sun was setting and being right in the beach this looked amazing!
Our room was one double bed (two singles pushed together and two single beds in a lower section. The room was quite clean apart from under the bed where there was a lot of dust, bits and even a soft toy. The room was outdated but did the job for what we payed and they have now got newer rooms. The room was hot when first walked in but the receptionist helped us solve this as the AC had been left on hot, but, as the aircon was downstairs with the two single beds, getting the upstairs where we slept to be cool was hard. There were also only two sockets in the room, neither of which were anywhere near the beds, no kettle or tea/coffee (you can get coffee from near the beach but still expected) and no iron. The balcony was a nice touch with a sea view, but only when standing as the front was frosted glass, I assume for privacy, but it meant we didn’t really use it. The door key to the room was also odd as the lock was too close to the frame (actually cutting a chunk out of it) meaning you had to unlock and then quickly move your hand out of the way so it didn’t get trapped.
We went for drinks, which were nice, very sweet, but better than some other resorts we’ve stayed at, the beer and Avra beach special were particularly nice! The service was polite, not particularly friendly but fast and decent. We then tried the buffet which was good! Not the widest range of foods but with a different theme each night, there was enough to keep everyone happy!
The entertainment was not great but for end of season to about 30 people it was ok. The entertainment guys were a little pushy and would sit on your table and not get the prompt to leave us be.
The next day one of the staff upset my partner by commenting on her body, a completely unacceptable thing for anyone to say to someone, let alone a member of staff. I spoke to the manager who apologised and was nice about it.
We took a few trips to the old town and Symi island (highly recommended) and were well organised by the on site excursion company.
I did ask for an iron at one point and was directed to a ‘laundry room’, basically dirty staff room full of sheets, a plastic cup full of cig butts and one broken iron (took us over half an hour to get it working). One iron for a whole hotel is crazy!
We did enjoy our stay but was disappointed by the resort, and would have been very upset if we had paid what we know other couples we met had paid (one of which arrived to there room and it hadn’t been cleaned and still had towels on the floor and a pile of sheets on the bed.)
Definitely more of a family resort than romantic and in the height of summer, with more people there and the staff in full flow it could be nice but unfortunately not our experience :(

all inclusive resort close to Rhodes city. easy to go into main town . pebbly beach but easy to get into the sea, beautiful large pool with small dedicated children's area. activities poolside every morning with entertainment lovely staff, particular shout out to Bernadine & guy who wore bl9nde wig 😀. evening entertainment was good too starting with song & dance session for k8ds which had us singing along too, been home a week & still singing 'chu chu wa . . " had range of adult entertainment too ,music, dancing, bingo. Great food available in main restaurant as well as beach snack bar, & small Greek restaurant. thoroughly enjoyed my stay

We stayed here for 3 nights, quiet girls getaway in October.
We absolutely loved it. Beds were comfy. We were very lucky to have a pool/ sea view.
All inclusive food was delicious. Beer was good. Cocktails were average.
Snacks were great.
The location is perfect. 10 minute taxi drive from the airport (21 euro)
Also 10 minute taxi ride to the old town, which is beautiful and a must to visit.

Lots of sunloungers available on the beach or by the pool and there is a beach bar, so you can get drinks and snacks on the beach.

I'm not so into hotel entertainment but the team seemed really nice.
They had an amazing band on one night.

One morning they were offering out trifles to us while we were sunbathing on the beach. That was lovely 😍

The beach is pebbly. But still beautiful.

The only thing I could complain about was that breakfast finished at 9.30am which I felt was too early.
There was plenty of snacks served all day. But the breakfast was really delicious and I didn't want to miss it.

Amazing hotel. Really happy we chose Avra beach hotel.

Avra Beach Resort ⛱️ what an amazing place!! Beeeeee was theeee best! What a gorgeous person inside and out. Checked on us, gave us info on places and transport etc and was just so friendly and helpful!!.. The Luxury transport from the hotel Fab €7 return to the old town. The food was amazing so much choice! Staff were all just lovely! We had an issue in our room was sorted straight away. Would definitely go back! Private beach was the best. It's wrong people hogging the comfy neds bed the others ok and plenty of sunbeds. Maybe a few of them need to be replaced but we had such a relaxed holiday. Entertainment at night was great too!! No need to go out but we revisited Semis Taverna in Ialysos and the old town twice. Loved it 🫶 🇬🇷 yamas 🍻

The best thing about the hotel is the food and beverage. All aspects are excellent: food quality, variety, service, staff, authentic food, kids food, bars, timeliness, hygiene, etc. I feel all food services are designed carefully and supervised really well. The Italian Greek restaurant that opens from 11:30-5:30 is so convenient by the beach. Thanks for all the Gyros!! Also great animation team, very kids friendly, entertaining music and shows. Just can't hear Metro Antistrofa by Konstantinos Koufos one more time 🤣🤣🤣

Just come back from the best girls holiday at avra beach! It had a bit of everything to suit all, family's, girls trip, couples ect. The staff was very nice and catered for our every need. But the people that make it are the animation team they are sooo lovely and easy to talk to and definitely entertaining but I have to give a special mention to SAM he just went above and beyond for our party of 12 ladies and nothing was to much trouble. What a lovely guy thanks so much for the best time spent in Rhodes! Samantha x

This is our 2nd time stopping here and we’re already planning our 3rd visit! The bar staff, reception staff, waiters are all so friendly and helpful but I have to say the holiday was made especially great by the animation team who kept us laughing and having fun. Special mentions to boogie and lia for the morning darts! Can’t wait to seen them all again!

This hotel was wonderful. Kind and helpful greeting with efficient service even with a late arrival. Clean room with decent view. Great facilities for kids even babies. Nice pool and seating areas. Clean beach with easily available loungers. Great food. The evening entertainment was consistently amazing and the best at any resort we'd been too. Particularly want to shout out about the entertainment staff who were all amazing. Especially Bernadine (Bee). She made my little girl feel special and overcome her shyness, even to made time just for her and keep a place next to her at the mini disco. My daughter cried for an hour straight when we left because she missed her so much. Thank you Avra Beach and all the staff, including Bee, Lia, Mira, Sam and Boogie. Hope to see you again next year.

Excellent holiday in a smaller hotel than we have been used to. Ideal! Great wee pool and comfy loungers on the pebble beach (ideal for us as not sand lovers). No fights for sun loungers as they are efficient at removing towels. I’m an early riser but even going down at 8am after breakfast I had a pick of many loungers. Nice to listen to sea whilst sunbathing and restaurant location is beautiful for sunsets next to the beach. Different food theme each night. Great pool and OK entertainment.
