Cook's Club Ialysos Rhodes Hotel

My husband and I visited for a few days our first holiday without the kids. We upgraded to plunge pool which was lovely. Very clean and spacious. The pool was cold great for morning dip to wake you up. It’s not very private from neighbour but that wasn’t an issue for us. The pool and bar is very relaxing and chilled they do have pool parties on weekend but we were not there for them. The staff and food was great on site we only ate there for lunch. Breakfast great choice of foods only thing lacking was tea, it was hard to find and but you don’t see much tea on the island it’s all coffee. The location was brilliant 5 mins from airport we were first drop off and last to be collect. You are close to Alyssa’s town which is 20 mins walk and there are plenty of bars and restaurants. Buses are regular and the stop it at end of the street we didn’t use the bus but easy to work out. On check out we had late flight and was unable to keep our room on but the reception were great and changed us room it’s €35 until 3pm and €55 until 5pm (I think). We went to reception at check out to be moved and the room they allocated us wasn’t ready so again they moved us to another that was ready. This was pool view room and again it was very spacious and luxury. There was a terrace overlooking the main pool you literally walk down 3 steps and you are at the pool. Highly recommend this hotel if you want to chill and relax but I have a feeling in high season it’s a party one

We had an absolutely fantastic time at Cook's Club Greece! The service was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

I want to give a special shoutout to the kitchen staff for being so accommodating to my girlfriend's gluten allergy. They were incredibly knowledgeable and made her feel completely comfortable. The gluten-free options were delicious and plentiful, making her dining experience truly enjoyable.

Unfortunately, there was one downside to our stay. Having to get up super early each morning to reserve sunbeds was quite disappointing. This created an unnecessary stress and ruined the relaxed atmosphere around the pool. We believe a system to prevent this would significantly improve the overall guest experience.

Overall, we can't wait to come back! Thank you for an amazing holiday. PS you will 100% need a car as the location is quite secluded.

Cannot fault Cook's Club. Modern lovely rooms with a big balcony, cleaned every day with clean towels. The buffet breakfast is amazing, so much choice. Lovely pool and grounds (very hot as shielded from the wind). The pool bar is great with fabulous staff, in fact every single staff member in the hotel, from the cleaner to the receptionists are so lovely and friendly and so willing to help. Good choice of food available at the pool bar all day and drinks prices were reasonable. Predominantly young people but no rowdy yobs. The pool party on Saturday afternoon was great fun and as the oldest people there my sister and I felt we had to show the youngsters how to party lol. The DJ said we'd made his day as he had fun too. I'd definitely go back again and certainly recommend it. It's adults only

This hotel is absolutely incredible, from start to finish the staff have gone above and beyond to make sure we had the most incredible stay. A special mention to the bar and restaurant staff for being so friendly and making sure we were having the best time. The hotel is spotless and clean and the pool area is amazing. I already can not wait to come back here soon, amazing hotel ❤️

To get the bad things out of the way. Only issue is the location. It wasn’t a massive inconvenience but it’s €22 in a taxi (each way) to Rhodes. There isn’t a lot to do around the area of the hotel, everything looks run down. Therefore we were a little disappointed by the location. Buses were so irregular one day we waited over 40 minutes for one when the schedule had stated it was due to arrive! obviously this isn’t the hotels fault but it’s best to keep this in mind when booking. Other than this, the room we stayed in was filled with ants! And we were keeping the doors and windows cleaned but I just kept noticing them coming, I thought they were coming under the door or through the AC. Couldn’t work it out. One of the nights I had to run about using bug spray to spray the floor. I think this is hard for the hotel to avoid, the hotel is surrounded by nature so I think that is where the problem has came from. Also the music by the poolside was crazy loud, we didn’t mind it but a few people we had spoken to said that it was on to all hours of the night and that it made them not want to lie by the poolside. We weren’t bothered by it but we did agree that it was a little bit much, more like a club than a relaxing hotel stay.

Other than this, this hotel is beautiful, modern and kept really clean. We really enjoyed the shower in the room, with adjustable water pressure and temperature. The maids cleaned our room everyday, gave us fresh towels and emptied the bins! The food in the hotel was hit and miss I got a curry and didn’t really enjoy it, being from Ireland you are used to spicy curries, this was more of a sweet curry, this is just my taste. My partner had the fish and loved it! The red pepper pasta was also delicious. Therefore I am scoring a 4/5 just for the location and the ants. If this hotel was closer to Rhodes we would have been so delighted. This is one of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in and we would return. The staff were incredibly friendly and we really enjoyed our stay. If you do book to stay in the area the restaurant CANTON which is down to the left, was absolutely beautiful, Cantonese cuisine.

Beautiful hotel! Love that it is surrounded by so much nature. The rooms were spacious and very clean.
They also give beach/pool towels which I love. The food was tasty and priced well.
The pool was my absolute fave, just so gorgeous!

A lovely hotel in a quiet location. We booked a room with a private shared pool (shared between 3 rooms) which was excellent value. The main hotel pool was also very nice, with plenty of comfortable beds.

The pool bar and restaurant both had a good range of drinks and cocktails. The food was also very good at both lunch and dinner.

There isn't an awful lot in the area around the hotel, but on the plus side, it's wonderfully quiet. The beach is a 10 minute walk along with a couple of restaurants, and also only a 15 minute taxi/bus into Rhodes old town.

Would definitely return!

Beautiful place. Stayed here for the day waiting for our flight back to Manchester. We booked a room to keep our bags and to shower after a day by the pool tanning. There was a pool party with great music. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Both missus and I was impressed at the array of food on offer. Hotel near to lots of amenities.
Gym was small but did it’s thing. Would love to go again.

Really smart hotel with a brilliant pool area and nice rooms. A 20 min bus ride from Rhodes town with only limited restraunts etc around it. Fairly small but has everything you need on site although a bit pricey on food and very pricey on drinks. Enjoyed our stay and would happily return.
