El Greco Resort & Spa

We visited Santorini recently with 10 other family members for our niece's wedding. El Greco was our hotel of choice.
Great decision!!
The complex is outstanding, with several beautifully maintained pools and surrounds.
Breakfast is included it the room rate, and although not a five star buffet, the breakfast was OK, especially sitting outside overlooking the main pool area.

The complex has an all day restaurant and bar poolside, which was fantastic for cocktails 🍸 after dinner.

The rooms are very well appointed, really comfortable king bed. Our room had a small patio with a small table and chairs, which was a nice extension to our room.

Across the road from the property you can lookout over the Caldera, which can be breathtaking at sunset.

We spent quite a few evenings in Fira, with us only about 7-8 minutes walk from the hotel. The choice of restaurants overlooking the Caldera is brilliant. I figure in the peak tourist period, best to book. We were OK for a walkin being there Oct 1-5.

We caught the bus from Fira to Oia, takes around 30 minutes or so. You HAVE do Oir. OMG, the views are exceptional, once in a lifetime.

Tip: Ask for a room around either main two pools, make sure you're not in a room near the main road.

Generally it's a beautiful place. The room is awesome, the pools and plants. The only minuses are: nothing special for breakfast (like in a typical 3-4 star hotel) and the pools not heated (not even one)

Hotel has large, spacious room, and depending where you are located you are very close to one of the many pools the hotel has to offer. Staff was extremely accommodating and helpful after a medical emergency, and were quick to offer assistance. Spa is very elegant and offers good services. Food is average. I found the dinner and lunch offerings to be much better than the breakfast buffet. All in all a very good resort close to town and medical facilities if needed. Thanks for a good stay.

When we arrived we were upgraded to a superior room and given a bottle of prosecco as we were celebrating our honeymoon. Room was spacious and serviced every day. We used the small fresh water pool which was quieter than the other 5 pools. The gym has adequate equipment but could be open earlier. Breakfast was good, with plenty to choose from. All hotel staff were friendly and welcoming. We will definitely visit again.

The hotel is very beautiful and just a 5-minute walk from the city center. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and well-equipped, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed our time at the swimming pool. I highly recommend this hotel!

Great location there’s 4 levels and 4 pools so you can get a spot by it. It’s located right on the cliff so you can have a view of the sunset uninterrupted. The pool staff was attentive and the hotel was beautiful and the concierge and reception so helpful with renting a card.

Very large resort with 3 pools, bars and restaurant where they serve breakfast buffet. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and the beds were OK. They have a laundry service which was super helpful and it's a short walk to the downtime area. Would recommend.
