Epavlis Grace - Adults Only Hotel

Rather a 3 stars hotel instead of 4 stars.

Advantages:

- nice pool and bar near the pool; the bartender Alex is a very friendly and nice person;
- the breakfast is diverse and generally good; rather bad coffee;
- large parking lot near the hotel;
- the reception personnel helped us to book rental car and transfer to the airport for our departure (although they forgot to book the transfer we requested from the airport for our arrival and we had to order Uber as no one answered the phone);
- the guy working at the reception is friendly and helpful.

Disadvantages:

- the hotel is located on a hill and it is a bit difficult to get there (even by car);
- if you reserve a room with sea view, mention explicitly that you do not want the rooms near the pool - basically everyone sitting by the pool can see in your room (however, they changed our room the next day after complaining about this);
- one of the rooms had ants on the floor and in the bed;
- the lady at the reception is not friendly;
- the hotel generally seems understaffed;
- no one at the reception during the night.

We had this room booked through Wingbuddy Tours (Very disappointed in this company) instead of an original hotel along the beach and were disappointed from the outset with its location as its perched a distance from the main beach area of town were all the restaurants are located. We were provided a sea view room which was located beside the pool and loungers which in fact provided very little privacy. In going out to eat or to the beach you had to make the trek into town and although going downhill is easy after being out to eat and drinks climbing back up to the hotel can be daunting especially if you have any type of physical limitations. To end our stay our room became inundated with ants and we were not the only room to become so during our stay. The only upside was that Chris the hotel and pool bar keep was a pleasant fellow and made good recommendations of restaurants to visit.
