Let's start.
1) We didn't get a map to the place, it was like "go that way, facilities are there, goodluck".
2) Room's room felt dirty and oily, even though it was supposed to be cleaned daily. Sheets were replaced.
3) A child got sick from the tap water, never drink water from the rooms' tap, use mineral water to brush your teeth.
4) The family rooms are in front of the pool, expect noise. They are low grade rooms.
5) Getting a towel to the pool, requires you to go to the spa, which is -1 level from the bar, every time a round trip to the spa to get new towels to the pool.
6) Food is mediocre at best, is pre heated. You do get pizzas and omelets made fresh in place. The desserts are just sugar with something every time, and everything is the same taste. I avoided meat due to the quality.
7) Getting a third key to the room required a managers approval.
8) Getting a taxi was 50 euros for a big taxi, 30 euros for a 4 people taxi. It is either a taxi or the hotels' van for about 10 minutes. (In Athens they take about 30 for a 40 minutes drive).
9) The beach is about 15 minutes walking, and unwelcoming. We went and returned.
10) The only good thing was the childrens' pool with the slides.
11) A la carte restaurants were fully booked on arrival, said there is no place. Asked on the last day, manager said it is overbooked as well.
12) Rooms are old and need a major refresh.
13) Outside our there was the small of stagnant water which smelled like sewage.
14) Playroom for children was without air conditioning, was hot and poor. Inland children amusement centers are far better quality.
15) There are plenty of 1 Euro playing machines in the restaurant, which sucks.
16) I had a bone in my chicken gyro from the quick restaurant by the pool. Pizzas were good though.
I recommend to avoid this hotel, and I would skip Heraklion altogether. Sharm El Sheik in Egypt are far cheaper and offer a better quality.
Couldn't describe how shitty this place is.
Food was very nice, good selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks on the other hand were not really very nice unless you paid extra for them.
A few things could be made better in our opinion, there was no where to hang towels after shower, only one mirror in the rooms, which is in the bathroom, could do with another, top up of tea, coffee sugar and milk could be more often as well as the “mini bar” as 4 bottles of water in 2 days is not enough. The bottles of “pop” also in the mini bar are really not very nice.
2 TVS but only 1 remote control and 2 air conditioner units and only 1 control, made it difficult over night to turn on or off air conditioning and TVS!
Things that were lovely and perfect:
The rooms were very clean and perfectly placed around the pool. The beds were so comfortable and pillows were like clouds. The shower was powerful and plenty of hot water. The wardrobe and cupboards were plentiful, 2 TVS in our rooms were a good option. Air conditioner worked very well! Pools were lovely and clean, slides were great, we all thoroughly enjoyed them! Ice cream options were amazing and always plentiful, the gyros and pizza were very tasty . Restaurant food was lovely many different options available and the desserts were to die for!
All staff were happy, pleasant and very helpful especially the overnight porter!
Overall a very pleasant happy holiday!
To our surprise, the front desk staff recognized that we were returning guests and kindly upgraded us to a Family Room with Shared Pool. Such a thoughtful gesture!
I highly recommend this room type: the mattress is very comfortable, the bathroom is clean and well-maintained, and the shower has great water pressure. The best part? The pool is just steps away from the terrace — absolutely perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The service throughout our stay was exceptional. Whether at the front desk, the bar, or housekeeping, every staff member was warm, polite, and professional.
We truly had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!
The food is fine. Again, not as good as I had at other resorts but still very nice. A lot of selection.

Bedrooms were fine. Not very big but they did the job. You already slept in them really.
Kids activities were good. Kids disco was great at the end or night. The entertainment was hitting or miss.
