The staff were so incredibly friendly and welcoming, pool was a good size, food was varied and to a cery good standard, bars staff are I now able and the entertainer Ben is the most friendly and welcoming person explored a personal connection with visitors and creates friendships and had the most entering activities including volleyball, and “balls” he is top notch!!!!! The best reason to visit is ben and his entertainment

Never a 4* hotel, more like a 2* Bathroom was mouldy, towels old and threadbare, room unclean, couldn’t sit outside on our veranda as cats there and the gardens were unkempt! Cats sleep inside the hotel on sofas, chairs and come into your room! Not ideal when you have a cat allergy. Food ok - pool area needs new furniture and cabanas filthy! The only positive were the staff who were brilliant considering their working environment. Hotel is in need of major refurbishment!!

So we arrived on an evening from the airport at 11pm, we walked up a dimly lit path of green lights, we saw the bar and pool and thought ok not quite what the photos show in the brochure. On walking into the reception area I saw a few cats about. We approached the reception and was met by a lovely lady who checked us in, I asked about the cats and she dismissed them saying oh there are a few. I thought great I have an allergy to them so sitting in any chairs in reception was ruled out. The rooms are basic but function well. Air conditioning is spot on, room fridge was a God send for cold drinks. All clean and tidy. Wardrobe is small and lacked hangers. Towels and bedding were changed regularly. There is a gym with sufficient equipment to work out but you are let down by no air con or fans in there so it’s like training in a sauna, I mentioned this to reception but nobody seemed to care. Food is good with plenty of choice at all meal times. However if you sit outside you will be surrounded by cats scrounging for food and some darlings think it’s sweet to feed them. At 4 star you would have thought there was a dress code at meal time but it was pretty much wear what you like men in vests, sports shorts. The all inclusive drinks only stretch to one local beer, wine on tap and Local spirits, the rest you have to pay for. All drinks are served in cheap plastic cup, as there is only a pool bar, so don’t get excited if you’re looking for a fancy cocktail. The pool is good but it’s the usual not enough sun-beds. Some even leave there towels from the day before and the hotel do not clear them. The pool doesn’t have a shallow end and get quite deep, there is a smaller pool for children. So overall it’s good but not amazing. The cats are a turn off for me and the place has potential if a little more investment is made. The staff are very good throughout. I find it hard to believe this was graded 4 stars.

Just leaving Gouves and we’ve had a great time. The rooms were clean, spacious with plenty of space for clothes. Food was very good with traditional greek food alongside international family friendly meals. The staff could not have been more attentive. A lovely initial welcome from Popi, Dimitri and others in the restaurant and Theresa checking in several times a day. Very impressive! The animation at the start of our stay wasn’t great but then Ben was brought in and the improvement was immediate. He was FUN, working tirelessly to entertain kids and adults alike. Overall a great holiday, going home relaxed and feeling well looked after.

The staff in this hotell are really friendly and helpful, some are more social than others but everyone is polite and quick to help. For example; When we checked out we asked for transfer and the lady in the reception helped us book. The transfer was going to pick us up at 15:00 but when the clock was like 15:02 the receptionist called the driver who was just around the corner. We didn’t have to say or do anything. The transfer was good price, 35€ and we drove from the hotell 15:05. So we were on time, no complaints. We were allowed to hang around att the hotell and eat lunch during the wait between our checkout and transfer. And we put our luggage in a storage room next to the reception. The food is average but there’s something for everyone. When we arrived they asked us about food allergy during check in. I recommend you pay a visit to Pella taverna, it’s within a 10-15 minute walking distance. The common areas are generally modern and clean but the rooms are a bit old and worn, not the best cleaning. There's a lot of cats roaming around in the common areas, so if you have allergy be aware. Great animation for kids and adults. I want to give a shoutout to Stavros at the bar and Ben who manages animation, they are the stars of the hotel The food, cats and rooms bring down my rating, but the staff and service are amazing. The hotel needs a bit of tlc and some maintenance work but overall it’s nice. We had a great time and we were well taken care of

We stayed at the hotel last year as a couple, I usually don’t write many reviews as I never have the time, until a friend mentioned it is probably something I should do to make people aware when booking. The hotel itself was very average but I don’t have anything negative to say. It was clean but the food was very samey so we went out to eat most nights, as usual really with an all inclusive, I would say it’s more of a 3 star than a 4 star though. We did have a very strange experience there, on the 2nd night we were there we were offered an upgrade by one of the gentlemen at reception who had often said hello to us and was very friendly. He said that it was at a neighbouring hotel a short drive away and it was a new 5 star luxury hotel with a private hot tub, he said he would offer it to us free of charge but we would need to leave that day and he would arrange for a taxi to take us there, at first we were super exited and thought how lucky!!!. We then spoke with family about it over the phone and they suggested it seems very dodgy and too good to be true, almost like they were going to traffic us or something, thinking about it realistically it did sound dodgy…. We then went back to the man at reception and said we politely decline and would rather stay in the hotel that we paid for, when we told him we weren’t going to take his offer he seemed annoyed/frustrated and gave us a very blunt “ok” he then never spoke to us and wasn’t as friendly as before which was very weird. I can’t say for sure and maybe it was us being overly cautious, it could’ve been a kind hearted gesture! I did speak with another guest at the hotel to see if they had been offered an upgrade aswell but they hadn’t and they also said it sounded strange. Just a heads up for young couples/girls to be vigilant as always on holiday. X

I recently visited Mr. Costa and Miss Marina and I must say it was an exceptional experience! The ambiance was serene and relaxing, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The staff were professional and attentive, ensuring every detail was perfect. My therapist was incredibly skilled, tailoring the massage to my specific needs and preferences. I left feeling rejuvenated and completely at ease.
