The facilities are nice but the service was poor. We stayed at the Luxury Villa which is booked through Lyttos Beach but gives access to both Lyttos Beach and Lyttos Mare. The food and facilities were better at Mare so we did our meals there but we were treated very rudely. On two occasions someone grabbed my hand to ask me what the Villa was or what the wristband meant since the Villa has its own wristband. Every day when we walked into the lobby at Lyttos Mare, no one greeted us and we were treated like intruders. When my husband asked for assistance making a reservation off the property he was told he could call himself. I was waiting outside the restaurant five minutes before it opened for lunch and the manager told me I had to wait somewhere else.
The food was fine for an all inclusive but it wasn't great, although definitely a better experience than the chaotic meals at Lyttos Beach next door.
I had a massage, which was good, but don't expect any spa facilities.
Don't expect much of the Kids Club. It was outside and covered but it was about 10-20 degrees hotter and really uncomfortable.
Overall there is potential but they need better management to train them on how to treat guests. I will say that there were some fantastic bartenders, specifically those in the main lobby and the Rainbow Bar.

Beautiful, well designed and modern resort. It is very clean with excellent maintenance and a very welcoming and friendly staff beginning with a warm and welcoming reception. All rooms are organized in a semicircle around multiple large pools, some with sea water and some with fresh water. There are ample and very comfortable pool chairs everywhere with shading umbrellas. The same is true about the beach area. Multiple open bars are present with easy access from all directions serving alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. The rooms are spacious, kept very clean daily. They are modern and equiped with small refrigerators, and a small safe. The bottom level rooms have a small pool connected to the rooms.
The dinning room is very large and spacious with an excellent choice of hot and cold food selections appealing to any taste with excellent selections of desserts and fruit as well as a coffee bar and self operated coffee machines if you chose. This resort is perfect for couples or families alike. A choice of sailing options are available with large yats as well as motor boats. This is a perfect vacation destination for anyone.

It is one of the better large-scale all-inclusive resorts that I have been to. The rooms and the service are just what I expect from this kind of resort. There is a high variety of food on the various buffets, and given the scale, the food quality is very good.
The hotel is great for families with kids.

We stayed at Lyttos Mare in early April 2024 from the first day it opened after the winter break.
The location of the hotel is beautiful, the facilities new and pleasant. The beach was beautiful and so was our pool by the room.
Both the pool and the beach have good, comfortable loungers.
The food and drinks in the restaurant were delicious and of good quality. The restaurant manager George was always very helpful and fully oriented towards the guests - many thanks for that. We can also highly recommend the Argentinian and Chinese restaurants. The children's entertainment was very good in the evenings, the team with Anna and the others was very good.
What we found less good was the loud music above our room on a Friday and that the beach bar was still closed at our time. The spa atmosphere was pleasant, but a little rough.
Thanks to the overall package, the great team at the hotel and especially the super professional and very friendly manager Mary, our stay at Lyttos Mare was very good overall.
We would gladly recommend the hotel to others.

It was all very average i guess.
Me, my fiance and our daughter stayed here for a week, all inclusive and paid extra for our own pool which backed onto our room.
The maids / cleaning staff didnt listen to us saying no to cleaning (on them 2 days our daughter had been really ill), she actually tried barging past me to clean. Then when they did clean the room it was a dreadful job and you could tell they werent happy with us saying no before.
The pool options are good, however all freezing cold (my daughter had blue lips and was shivering even though it was 25-28 degrees) Also the private pool was salt water which isn't nice.
The entertainment team were really good overall, dancers were really good and the kids disco was brilliant - only problem was the hotel dont advertise it at all and we were just lucky to find out about it!
We had people try sell us stuff whilst on the ‘private’ beach, disguising as gifts then expecting money from us. Security saw them and did absolutely nothing.
The room size for a holiday costing £5k for a week was really small, and the smaller bed was so rock hard i genuinely would wake up with dreadful pain from all over (i had to sleep there as theres no chance my daughter could sleep there)
The food overall was just meh, the kids options were very small and a lot of food we had like chicken was undercooked and pink in areas - raw chips, and never any tables and if there was they were rarely cleaned.
Feel like this hotel is trying to be too posh and have missed out the convenience and joys of a holiday. The staff said theyd do stuff and never did. Also charged a room tax which im not being funny but 5k for a week and then the cheek to charge an extra €70? Just seems pathetic.
2 shops in resort, but none we were told about - very very expensive and literally sell drinks and crisps lol
Brilliant sports centre infront of the resort, football pitches, tennis courts, and park but again we didnt even get told about any of this for some weird reason.
This hotel just seems very let’s add all this stuff in, then do a dreadful job at promoting any of it. I think if they sort these issues out, maybe you can call it a 4 star. But until then were looking at a 2-3 star resort. Disappointed.

we have just returned from this hotel and we are so disappointed with our stay. We booked months ago and we were so looking forward to staying due to the reviews however this hotel isn’t everything it’s made out to be.
We booked and paid for a private pool which cost us £1,000. little did we know it was salt water which we did not want or enjoy. the salt is very thick and dried all over the decking and your clothing
We booked a room for three. myself, partner and daughter. the large bed was super comfy however my daughters was rock solid. i don’t know how they expect anyone to sleep on it.
when we arrived we were told they would send a maid to turn down our daughters bed as it’s mainly a sofa, maid never turned up
whilst on the point of maids, they need to recruit new ones. they are SO rude and don’t speak any english. they knock on the door when it says do not disturb on it. my partner opened the door and said no thank you and the maid tried pushing past my partner to come in. both me and my daughter were in bed unwell which is why we put DND. they also come in without knocking, which again no apologies for or anything.
my partner went to reception as our daughter caught a sick bug on the second night and requested some more bags for her and toilet rolls. Was told yes absolutely, they never turned up.
you need to get to breakfast early or there will be no clean tables or any food left. so i dread to think what the “late limited” breakfast includes
the food is atrocious - VERY limited and it’s the same stuff every day. they advertise a kids “buffet” which consists of the same 4 things every day. they do themed nights but the food looks terrible. there are no food options during the day apart from the street food place which you have to take a 3 day camel hike to get to you. and if you don’t like this you have to buy stupidly overpriced crisps because that’s all that’s available at the shop.
you are left to your own devices. no signs ANYWHERE for anything. They have no organisation for what shows are on etc. you are completely in the dark. they have an app to say what entertainment was on but again this was not shown on there.
However, the kids mini disco and evening shows were brilliant, the dancers were incredible.
beware €10 a night accommodation tax per night. they charge this at check in
we decided to spend more on a holiday that seemed worth it, but by day 3 we could not wait to come home. it is definitely not a 5 star resort, i wouldn’t even give it a 3, we will never be returning and if you are looking for a 5 star luxury resort, i would suggest going elsewhere! you’ll get what you pay for

It is a nice hotel but there are some improvement points. There are small ones, for example there are no bowls in the main restaurant near the yoghurt section. Those are always gone.
Then there are bigger ones. We went in May and then the water is way too cold for small children. And too deep for toddlers. There should be at least a single pool for small children which is heated and better yet a bigger pool for bigger kids a well. This is a pity, because there are way too many pools. But they are all the same with almost no play attractions.
There is of course the water park which is very nice. But as none of the pools are heated, my 4 year old daughter was freezing even though it was 25+ degrees Celsius. The strange thing was, that the play pool for the little kids was by far the coldest as well.
The beach is pretty nice, the kids liked to play in the sand and it had food and drinks close by. Which was nice.
It is also a pity that it is not allowed to eat or drink in the restaurants and bars of Lyttos Beach, which is not really separated by anything. It would not cost them extra and would give the customers more options. The variety of restaurants was quite limited by this.

I am highl dissapointed with the Lyttos Mare hotel. I am staying here currently with my husband and two daughters and I have impression that families and treated worse at this hotel. We took premium family room and all the rooms this type overlooks the other hotels, neother pools nor sea. Sunbeds by the kids pools are old and plastic and not as big and comfortable as the ones by the adults pools! You can ca this hotel „Self service hotel” - you must do all by yourself: open, umbrellas, bring drinks, carry on towels through the hotel area (there is only one place in the underground where you can exchange towels!). Selection of food is poor. You pay a lot but you don’t get the 5-star hotel service.

Very nice hotel, nice pool and beach area with comfortable beach loungers. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food and drinks were excellent. Because the hotel has closed the day of our late departure, we were allowed to use all facilities at the neighboured Lyttos Beach Hotel and we even got another room there for a couple of hours. That was great!
