NEMA Design Hotel & Spa

We had a memorable stay at Hotel Nema in Crete! The most beautiful suite with a private pool was incredible and offered perfect privacy with no overlooking views. Everything was flawless, and we especially want to thank the staff: George for his exceptional service, Nikos at the reception for his warm welcome, and Lydia, the manager, for her professionalism and kindness. A big thank you also to the housekeeping staff for their remarkable work and attention to detail. Their respect and care for the guests are truly appreciated. We will definitely return!

From the moment we arrived at Nema Design in Analipsi, Crete, we felt truly welcomed. The hospitality was exceptional — we were greeted with warm smiles, a refreshing cold towel, and a traditional chilled drink, which was the perfect start to our stay after the trip.

The staff were incredibly courteous, attentive, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their kindness made us feel completely at home.

Once we got to our room, we were absolutely amazed. It was beautifully designed, spacious, and came with a private pool that made the entire experience feel luxurious and serene. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared.

After a peaceful and relaxing night, we woke up to a fantastic breakfast. The variety was impressive — a wide range of fresh, high-quality products, both local and international. Every detail was carefully curated, and the flavors were outstanding.

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Everything was perfect — from the welcome to the comfort of the room and the amazing food. Highly recommended!

I had a really great stay at this hotel and would honestly say it was a 10 out of 10. The food was good, but what I loved most was how beautiful the whole place was. The pool area outside was such a nice spot to relax, especially with the music playing in the background. There was also a gym, which we used quite a bit and found super convenient. What stood out the most, though, was the staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. I’d definitely give the hotel 5 out of 5 stars.

The only reason I’m taking off one star is because one of my makeup products went missing from the room. I had used it before housekeeping came in, and afterwards it was gone. We couldn’t find it anywhere, and although I mentioned it at the front desk, there wasn’t really any follow-up or update about it. That was a bit disappointing and something I’ve never experienced before.

Other than that, I really enjoyed my time there and would definitely come back.

I stayed at Nema Design Hotel in Crete from April 17 to 22 and had a fantastic experience. The hotel’s style is incredibly modern, elegant, and thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail. Everything was spotless — cleanliness is clearly a priority here.
What really stood out was the staff: always kind, helpful, and truly attentive to guests’ needs. Their warm hospitality made us feel very welcome.
The food was also excellent, with a variety of delicious options every day.

Wonderful Stay at NEMA

We had an amazing experience staying at NEMA! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with incredibly friendly and attentive service. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel itself is spotless—everything was impeccably clean, which really added to the relaxing atmosphere.

The location is perfect, directly at the beach, offering stunning views and easy access to the shore. Plus, there are many great restaurants and supermarkets just a short walk away. The overall vibe at NEMA is warm and positive, making it the perfect place to stay. We highly recommend it!

The hotel is in a great location, just 30 minutes from the airport, with plenty of cozy and delicious dining options nearby, as well as a grocery store and taxi service.

The staff and service are excellent—always attentive to our requests and consistently friendly. The hotel’s design is minimalistic, creating a relaxing atmosphere, although I found the rooms to be quite dark, with limited lighting options.

Breakfast is fantastic, offering a wide variety of dishes that change slightly each day. A hidden gem is the a la carte restaurant, Rizes. The menu is amazing, showcasing unique Greek flavors. The cocktails are delicious, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality. I highly recommend trying it!

The beach is decent but could benefit from better maintenance. After a storm, a significant amount of seaweed washed ashore, emitting an unpleasant smell, which made it uncomfortable to enter the sea.

Additionally, there are areas for improvement in cleanliness. I was disappointed to find makeup stains in the sink, oily spots in the bathroom from previous guests, and dust on the fridge and safe. Despite tipping the cleaning staff, the situation didn’t improve over our week-long stay. After raising the issue with reception, the room was cleaned again, but not thoroughly—the stains in the sink remained, and marks from the cleaning cloth became visible. Moreover, the shower was leaking, and the water never dried up.
