Mitsis Summer Palace Beach Hotel

We can warmen recommend this hotel. My family had great time. All workers are very friendly and helpful. They want to make every guest happy and feel comfortable. They pay attention to every need. The a la carte restaurants are beautiful with good food. It's a big hotel, yet it feels like a big home- because the workers make you feel like they konw you for a long time.

We moved to the Summer Palace after two nights in the Mitsis Norida. This is a 5* hotel with attentive service, fabulous rooms and the food in the buffet and the Al a Carte restaurants we tried were excellent especially, the Dusk Pan Asian. Not really suitable for people with any mobility issues as there are lots of steps though out the complex. Would recommend this hotel and would return.

Check in we arrived late at night we were checked in quickly and offered food then showed to our room Room After reviewing we decided to choose a superior room with sea view and plunge pool. In the new building. Great choice definitely recommend The room has all the amenities you need (except an iron) it also has a mini bar which is replenished daily. A drop head shower which was great only downside to the room was the shower flooded the whole bathroom and toilet but no big deal. The pool is fab and climatized so isn’t freezing if the weathers good. It also has a jacuzzi function. Amazing sun loungers and a fabulous sea view. Food. We ate at 3 of the restaurants. Main buffet restaurant Usual buffet stuff. Table service for drinks. Breakfast and lunch were nothing exciting Dinner was good nice puddings and meats were cooked well. Same as any other AI buffet. Would have liked to see more choice. A lot of the food were missing menu cards so did not know what they were and no mayonnaise. My partner really liked the olive pate. Med bar this was booked whilst we were here Salad and pizzas were nice. You can also get pizza as a snack during the day The BBQ Den we pre booked this one before our holiday. Not as fun as I thought it would be but interesting to cook my own food. Zia’s beach snacks. The Gyros were fabulous. Cocktails were ok but watery, bar staff would make what you want if it’s not on the menu. We booked a candle lit meal for 300€ . It was 7 courses served in the nest the food was amazing. Was ruined a bit by guests constantly walking by so not very private but still an experience. Thank you to Alex our server for the night he was fabulous. We had a lazy gazebo nest afternoon to for 40€ These were booked at the reception but can be booked on the app. The app said smoothies and snacks. We received a fruit platter it was nice but would have liked some savoury items. You get the gazebo for 3 hours but due to the heat we didn’t stay the duration. Pools Infinity pools No sun loungers after 9am. The water was warm though. Indoor pool A bit cool but nice once in. We did not use any other pools in the complex as had our own. Beach Tiny pebbles and rocks so beach shoes may be good. The sea was clear and you can see lots the fishes that was an experience. Sun loungers were comfy and there were plenty till around lunch time. Peddalos were free for half hour a day. Jet skis 60€ It’s a secluded relaxing place with not a lot going on other than the paid fur water sports but perfect to chill for a week. There was entertainment most nights which was good. It is not suitable for those with mobility issues or children. My only main issue was the lack of information and communication it was not easy to find areas. The bars have QR codes for the menus but only the cocktails listed it didn’t list the snacks/soft drink options etc so kind of pointless. I would suggest the menus list everything on the QR cod

The staff here is amazing, i forgot my phone in the taxi from the airport to the hotel and the receptionist, Irene, helped us very well to get my phone back. She did everything in her power to get it back. I had the location of my phone on my boyfriends phone and we saw that the taxi stopped at an other hotel and she called that hotel so fast that the receptionist over there could tell him that my phone was in his vehicle. The drove back to the airport with it and handed it over to the Mitsis desk over there and someone then brought it over to the reception here and they called that i could come collect my phone. overall i lost my phone for 2 hours i think so they handled everything very fast. They are all very kind

Our stay was amazing and we were well accommodated. Our rooms were great and the food provided was amazing. Definitely would stay again an amazing experience!!!

We have visited before Summer Palace and we must admit that is getting better year by year. The new sunbeds at he beach are super comfy. Combined with the gyros snack we did not want to leave the beach. the food at the main restaurant was great and there was always something suitable for our taste. The gorgonzola pizza at the Med and certainly the brunch with that magnificent view is something to make your stay unforgettable! Angie always remembered our preferred cocktails and Billy at the Den is the best!

We stayed at the Mitsis Summer Palace in May 2025, and it was our first experience of a Mitsis hotel. We loved our time at the hotel. We were lucky to have a Super Sea Front Room, and this is the best room we have ever stayed in. The view was incredible, the bed was large and comfortable, and everything in the room was lovely and modern. The all-inclusive offering was great, especially the Med a la carte restaurant and the mini bar! The only bit we were let down by slightly was the buffet, as it wasn't a huge selection. The Pizza near the pool was delicious. The infinity pools were fantastic, and the sun beds were the comfiest we've ever experienced - perfect for lazy days by the pool. We also loved the beach, but we felt the view from the infinity pool area just edged it. Special shoutout to the team around the pool and at the Med a la carte, the service was exceptional. We can't wait to visit again in the future.

Mitsis summer palace was a perfect destination for our holiday. We wanted relaxing and that is exactly what we got. The food was very good - especially in the a la cartes, the cocktails we found to be mediocre and the fact you couldn’t get every cocktail in every bar was a shame. The staff were all very friendly, rooms were immaculate and facilities good. The infinity pools were extremely busy and you’d need to get up early if you wanted a bed here, we were quite happy to be at one of the quieter pools. The sun beds were VERY comfy and we had no problem getting a bed at the regular pools. For those travelling with children - there wasn’t very many kids when we were there and I would particularly recommend this hotel for those with kids due to lack of entertainment for them, the sister hotels (family villas and blue domes) would probably be a better choice. The hotel was quite secluded however there was a bus into the local area. We did walk down to one bar to watch some rugby one night but apart from that there wasn’t much else around. We did car hire which was easy to arrange at the hotel and was great for getting out and about for the day, Overall, this hotel was perfect for us as a couple who wanted a nice relaxing break. I’d recommend to anyone else looking for a similar kind of holiday. @_the_travel_tribe
