Somewhere along the line, the management of this hotel have lost sight of the fact that the beautiful location and picking your bags up when you arrive doesn't make a 5*hotel. We paid for 5* but could have saved ourselves a fortune booking a standard 4* AI and had the same experience. The sunbed situation honestly ruined this holiday for me and I'm as tired now as I was before the holiday. I don't expect to have to leave my work alarm on to get up in time for a sunlounger. I don't expect to have to think about not having another drink and getting to bed at a decent time because my alarm is set. Sunbeds were all gone by 7.15 and mostly unused until 12ish. if you want to be out between 8.30- 11.30 you'll have no choice than to get up at dawn. After numerous complaints, they started to come round at lunchtime to put extra out and remove towels, when they should have bee removing them from empty beds between 8-10 which would have had more impact. This was totally pointless as people who'd blocked beds and not used them usually appeared by lunch and it meant rushing lunch in case you went back to no lounger (we saw this happen to families who had actually been out all morning when they'd just gone to get lunch). Staff were helpful, friendly and clearly over-worked The phrase we heard the most was I'm sorry I forgot'. No chance of getting a 2nd coffee at breakfast, we were lucky to get one it took so long. It usually took 2-3 attempts to order drinks at lunch, dinner and in the evening at the bar and there was often something missing. Food was good and there were plenty of healthy options. the Asian restaurant in particular was great. Mini bar was usually re-stocked each day though sometimes they forgot. Worth noting, the hotel is only air conditioned in the bedrooms. if you arrive outside 'standard' hours( we arrived around midnight) you won't get a welcome drink or food which surprised me as this is fairly standard in other hotels.

Where to begin. Firstly this is absolutely not a 5 star hotel. From the moment you step into the bare lobby with dead flies on the sofa! Staff are friendly but completely inattentive, takes ten minutes to get eye contact so you can actually order food and drinks. And clearly not enough staff throughout the hotel. Lift (which was no better than a service lift) broke at least once a day. Food and particularly lunch and dinner buffet were bland, boring and repetitive. Lunch buffet often only had pork as the only meat option. The sun bed situation was pathetic. Clearly not enough beds all gone by 7.30am. RIDICULOUS policy of items being removed from beds if you leave them for 30 minutes so forget a relaxing lunch, or going to play water polo or going down to the beach. All the guests were complaining and all given stock answer which just showed senior management could not care less and clearly were fully aware their were not enough beds. Despite the operations manager shouting at us that there were! he was frankly rude, vile and aggressive. Tried to raise this with management who only responded on our last day and by then I couldn’t be bothered to waste anymore time. Avoid this hotel and chain at all costs.

We had the most amazing experience at the Grecotel Luxme Kos! The hotel was amazing, the beach and the pools were fantastic! The kids club was also amazing for our 5 kids, many thanks to Irene from Murcia and Mariana from Portugal for taking care of our kids in such a lovely way. And our most sincere thanks to Christos, the manager at the restaurant, for making sure our family, the eleven of us, could sit at the best tables in the terrace every night!!!

I booked a sea view bungalow at this hotel in July 2025, paying an extra fee through TUI. When we checked in at 2am, they told us we had booked a standard room in the main building, but gave us a standard room without a view. When we showed them our reservation documents, they said they would discuss it with us later that day. At 9am, we went to the TUI representative at the hotel, but they did nothing and said we needed to resolve it with reception. Immediately afterwards, we went to reception and were told to come at 11am. We went at 11am, but they said they were in a meeting and told us to come at 1pm. They insisted on giving us a room we had paid for, and then gave it to us a full day later. They acted as if we had received a free upgrade. The entire reception team was extremely rude, and no one apologized for what they had put us through. We've seen many families in our situation during this process. We weren't the only ones affected. In short, the first day of our holiday was completely wasted and wasted. Checkout was scheduled for 11 a.m. on the last day, and they called at 10:30 to tell us we had to leave. Due to what happened on the first day, we requested a late checkout, but unfortunately, they refused. I'll be requesting a refund for one day from TUI.

We’ve just returned from a week at Grecotel LUXME Kos Imperial as a family of four, and overall we had a fantastic time. The hotel itself is absolutely stunning – the grounds are beautifully landscaped, the pools are impressive, and the beachfront location offers incredible views, especially at sunrise. The kids loved the different pool areas and the food court-style options – especially the crepes and gelato! The buffet had a wide range of fresh choices. We did not try the à la carte restaurants so can not comment on them. The whole resort felt safe, clean, and very family-oriented without being overly noisy. That said, there were a few areas that could be improved. Service at the pool bar was often quite slow especially at peak times. With children in tow, it made things a bit more stressful than they needed to be. Sun loungers around the main pools were very hard to come by, far to many 'reserved' early in the morning. The hotel suggested it did not allow this but they did not appear to enforce any rules in the mornings. We also found the minibar restocking in our room a bit hit-and-miss – some days it was refilled, others it wasn’t touched. Evening entertainment could definitely be improved. While there were a few enjoyable performances, overall it felt a little basic and repetitive – a bit more variety or energy would go a long way, especially for families with children. Despite those few niggles, we had a really enjoyable family break. The setting is beautiful, the staff were warm and helpful, and the kids had a brilliant time. With a few slight tweaks, this place would be perfect for families and would mean we’d definitely consider returning.

We stayed for 8 nights , all inclusive in June 2025. The rooms were lovely and the whole hotel spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely friendly and nothing was a problem. The food was amazing and drinks branded . Will definately stay again
08.07.2025
Pros ✔️We had a relaxing stay, the hotel is clean and modern with a lovely atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are lovely especially the cocktails! The grounds are beautifully maintained. Cons ✖️Only slight criticism…there are only 2 chairs for the outside area of our room/ balcony but room was for 3 people (2 adults and a 16 year old). Obviously with the hot weather there are a lot flies- including on the food at the buffet which is quite off putting.

Back from a week with our grown up children and can highly recommend this hotel. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, the reception staff gave us advice on getting into Kos which was straightforward using the bus We stayed in the large villa with private pool and it's stunning. Housekeeping do a great job, nothing was too much trouble The selection and quality of food was exceptionally high, we really enjoyed our stay One tip for something to do - if you go to the beach and walk past the watersports keep going for about 15 minutes you will find psaldi wetlands - we were lucky enough to see about 60 flamingos

First impressions Wow,beautiful gardens amazing pools and stunning lobby. On arrival escorted to our garden room on a dark corridor full of Cicada bugs on the floor and ceiling all the way to the room and this was a bad start.Room large but dated.Midway through our holiday a new headboard appeared to try and update the room which was odd.Service at the pool shocking and had to wait 30 minutes for a drink for the waiter to return saying our order was lost.Flies on food and 3 days into the holiday all 4 of us became very ill and still suffering after return.Pools extremely cold and beach full of hard pebbles.Really disappointed.I really could go on and on about other issues but far too many.

The stay was sooo nice. Top service, such nice view, nice staff, greetings to Ernest and Tritan. Good food. Has to try to ala cate, italian food menu is amazing. The shows are also nice, there are many kids here, but coming here in june is perfect. Water polo is also nice, you have to join.
