Canaves Sunday Hotel

This was a true 5 star resort. Extremely fast and pleasant staff, stunning rooms and the most breathtaking views we have ever seen. The staff also provided excellent local restaurants, often at a discount due to booking through the hotel. The location is also unbeatable in Oia - right where the main service road turns away from the sea and the pedestrian street with shops and sunset square begins - easy to get in and out by car but still amazingly walkable. The atmosphere was very chilled despite being cool - we met lots of American couples and enjoyed spending the evenings eating Greek food and drinking cocktails!

Had an absolutely amazing stay! The best service I have ever received at a hotel or resort. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, our every need was proactively met. Check in was great and you could tell the hotel genuinely cared that we had a great stay and everything met or exceeded our expectations. Breakfast every day was amazing. The room we got was amazing with a large patio and a small pool. We met the manager upon check out, he was very friendly and made sure our stay was great. My expectations for this property were very high but it still blew me away. Can't recommend this hotel more, it is worth every penny.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. It really felt like a luxury holiday. all the staff at the hotel were incredible and polite. The breakfast was amazing, the pools were cold and perfect in the hot weather. Each room has a private pool with a beautiful view. Extreme luxury atmosphere

The location was perfect. The hotel was incredibly unique and lovely. Check in was easy, professional and fast. The restaurant service was great and the food was delicious. The main pool was beautiful and great to relax in.. The only downside was our room. It was small with a weird layout. But that was our fault for not asking to see another room to switch too. The small pool we had heated up quickly and to a really hot temperature but it was a tiny little plunge and we really couldn’t share it comfortably. Again, I should have asked to see one or two more rooms. Overall we had a great stay at Canaves Oia Suites! We would definitely highly recommend this hotel and we will be back if we are ever in Oia!

Canaves Sunday was the perfect finale to our Greek getaway. We spent 3 nights in total bliss—upgraded to the honeymoon suite, with a beautifully appointed room and a veranda view that made breakfast feel like a dream. The secluded location and serene pool overlooking the caldera offered the peace and luxury we were craving. Every staff member was warm and welcoming, and the service was flawless. Yes, it’s priced for the views—but the experience? Worth every euro. Ending our trip in Oia was pure magic.

5 stars - no doubt about it. Front desk is extremely helpful in booking activities, transportation and reservations on the entire island of Santorini. Extremely walkable location to shops, restaurants, bars and sunset views. Great hotel. Fantastic experience.

Every minute was perfect. My special thanks to Chris, Vlad, Bill, George, Eni, Ali, and both Marias for their brilliant attitudes, constant attention to detail, and the individual interest they all take in every guest. Not only do they make excellent hosts, but they also actively educate guests about the culture of Greece when it comes to food, wildlife, and interpersonal customs. Thank you to the hotel staff at large for making the beds every day, changing the towels, and providing a comfortable experience unlike any other. This hotel, with these hosts, is by far the best place to stay in Santorini. I look forward to returning soon!

OMG!!! This luxury property is the best experience I never had while traveling. Their warm welcome and services really surprised us EVERY single day!!! From the breakfast to the dinner and welcome amenities provided , all of the details just continue to 🤩🤩🤩 wow!!!
I also want to recognize Vald, our breakfast head waiter, who takes care of us everyday and makes us more enjoyable too! In addition, sharing my experience with Fay who asked for our stay experience and makes us feel special as well!! Will definitely recommend this place to stay at Oia!!!

Absolutely fantastic property and gorgeous scenery

Before my stay, I had many concerns, so I sent several emails to the hotel with my questions. The hotel responded to every email and helped ease all my worries. They also assisted with restaurant reservations and car rental. Every staff member at the hotel gave me a warm welcome and was always ready to help with anything I needed. I was truly impressed and very satisfied with my stay at this hotel.
