Amazing view! Nice and clean hotel! Everyone was so friendly and willing to offer their services! 3 pools, a bar pool, restaurants, mini golf car available to take you to the rooms, luggage service, spa, laundry services. Great breakfast also with many choices. Located on a hill with panoramic views! Quiet area, perfect for relaxation. The only "negative" is that the bathroom needs a renovation. Is approximately 5 mins by car to get to Pefkohori and 20mins to get to Nea Skioni. Roads are too old and you need to be very careful if you are going to drive to that direction. We loved our stay in general!

We visited Alia Palace on a couples holiday and we highly recommend this to anyone visiting Pefkohori! The hotel is great, clean and the staff are really friendly and helpful! Although it is not a beach front hotel, you're roughly 15 min stroll from the town and seafront. You also have a free shuttle service every day which can take you down to the town and/or the beach (they drop off is close to the Fiki beach bar/restaurant). We had a great time there and highly recommend it to everyone!

This is not a 5 star hotel. The hotel is more a low 4 star hotel. We paid £4000 for a week all inclusive. The best part was our Deluxe Junior suite with pool and panoramic view because waking up to that view is stunning. It's not worth going all inclusive as it is very basic and the food is very repetitive. If you eat at the a la cart you pay for it. If you want a decent cocktail you pay for it. If you want coffee pods in your room you pay for it. This should be stated that there's extra charges. The pool towels you are given one each and there's no towel station to change them. We had to buy water for our room as we hardly got left water in the room. The odd time we got a bottle left on our doorstep which is not 5 star hotel behaviour. On a positive note it was clean and the staff were nice and friendly. We had a nice stay but not like the 5 star holidays we are used to. Glad we experienced the view and the nice room but it lacked so much attention to detail which let it down as it has the potential to be an amazing place. We wouldn't return as it's not worth the price.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were wild by the amazing views of the sea. The pool area looked incredible, especially with the infinity pool and the bar overlooked the sea we arrived at 3 o’clock which was check-in time and we were told to take a seat and wait for our room and we were given a welcome drink which was just fruit juice naturally we were tired after a long day travelling and we had to wait 45 minutes for our room when we got in our room we had paid extra for Seaview and the view straight in front of us was another building with air-conditioning units and you could see the sea just from the side. We are quite unhappy about this as we had paid extra. We thought that we were just a bit irritable due to the travelling so the next day we went and complained on reception we were very polite but said we weren’t happy with what we’ve got given that we paid extra and we were expecting a seat to be right in front of us. The man on reception was very apologetic and he spoke to management who said they don’t see the problem and nothing could be done so that was a bit disappointing in terms of the breakfast buffet that was a good choice but the evening meals weren’t good at all. We ended up going out most nights because the food was very mismatched cooked in a lot of oil and very dry they also didn’t have many dairy free options but the worst of it all was they turn the drinks machines off at night time so you can’t even have a glass of water for free you have to pay on the first night. The staff came to take our order at the table for drinks and we thought it was included as we were half board but at the end of the night they gave us the bill for a bottle of water people around us kicked off about this and they said it was management decision but surely it’s a human right to have water with your meal that was disappointing. There’s not much to do in Halka. It’s just a beach town with shops but we knew that and that’s the type of holiday we wanted. We probably wouldn’t go back to this part of Greece as there’s literally nothing to do unless that’s the type of holiday you want the hotel I wouldn’t say was a five star it was maybe a low four star even three the staff were friendly. We use the gym on a few days and it was like a sauna in there. They didn’t put the air-conditioning on you have to book it and it was just a tiny box room with some crappy weights. Honestly we were ready to come home although the views are amazing. We just felt like it was a lot of money for what we experience and we wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely 5 night break in this hotel. Lots of positives. Room was clean with a lovely bathroom and comfy beds. The swimming pool was beautiful and the views were stunning. Lots of sunbeds and umbrellas for shade and there were plenty of them. We were all inclusive and the food was great as were the staff. The pool bar opened at 9 for drinks and you don’t have to wait until 10 for the all inclusive to kick in like I’ve seen other people say. Yes there are stray dogs, as animal loving Brits we fed them and they were very nervous which tells me other people aren’t always kind. There is a mum with her 4 puppies. We loved them and was sad to leave them behind. We left them being fed and given water by some new arrivals. The hill is steep, you can get the golf buggy up if it’s around. Shout out to Tony for the trips up the hill. The only downside for me was 1 hotel mini bus is great but needs replacing! AC would be helpful. Not a great look when the driver is constantly pouring water in under the bonnet Also , if you are there first stand your ground. Some people have no manners and will turn up last and try to barge you out the way to get a seat. 2. The animals. We found it upsetting and would hope that the hotel would arrange neutering and vet care for the animals that live on their property

After seeing a few average/negative reviews of Alia Palace, I was a little nervous about our trip her at the end of June. However, we had absolutely nothing to worry about, and had an incredible time at this beautiful hotel. Here are some of my highlights: • Room. We got the pool room, and it was so, so worth it. Having your own little are to dip and swim in, in total peace and quiet, was lovely. Everything was replaced – towels, toiletries, bottled water – every day. Yes, the rooms are up a small hill, but anyone who is even slightly fit can walk it, and there is a buggy service constantly. Room was clean, had everything we needed, and large. Only negative about our room: bed was a little creaky, toilet seemed to leak a bit. • Staff. I saw a few reviews saying the staff aren't friendly and that couldn't be further from the truth. Every staff member we encountered – and there's a lot – was polite, friendly, helpful in any way they could be, kind. They really heightened the experience. We also got a massage, and the spa team are wonderful. • Food. In our group of 7, there were 3 meat eaters, 2 vegetarians, and 2 vegans, and all of us ate well throughout the week. From vegan pain au chocolats to an array of greek delicacies, i felt there was a fairly good range of options. It does – like at any all inclusive - get a little repetitive after a few days, but thankfully there are quite a few nice restaurants down in the town. The closest is the Las Pas Tavern, and it is a MUST try. I also thought for an all inclusive, it was pretty generous – big range of drinks 'til 11, ice cream on demand, lunch buffet as big as the dinner buffet. • Location. The first thing you notice here is the view. It takes your breath away on day one, and it's still an absolute marvel up to you last day. Yes, the resort is on a hill, and walking back from the beach is a bit of an effort. But for anyone even mildly fit it's fine, and there's a regular shuttle service, though we didn't need it once. The beach area is full of bars, shops and restaurants, and it's lively but not tooooo touristy. Perfect. Also, on the suggestion that the place is overrun by stray dogs and cats – yes, there are a couple of cats that hang around in the restaurant seating area, but they leave you alone completely. The dogs are sometimes just outside the rooms, but didn't even look at us. Seriously, it's nothing to worry about at all. Thank you Alia Palace for giving us such a brilliant stay.

We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights to celebrate our 30th Wedding anniversary and we could not thank the wonderful staff enough for such a fantastic time. The staff are an absolute credit to the owner of this hotel. The hotel was immaculate, the food was great as was the entertainment. The bar staff were so nice and friendly, even when under pressure. Thank you Alia Palace you were amazing!!!!!

Lovely hotel in a great location; lovely staff; very clean; views are beautiful; food good; pools and sun beds tidy and clean. Close enough to walk to beaches and town but there is a free hotel shuttle if you need it (hotel is at top of hill). Great value for money

Take no notice of the negative reviews - they are totally unfounded. This is a lovely hotel - the staff were very pleasant and welcoming. Great pool area with great views. The hotel is on a steep hill but has a great shuttle bus service to the town and beach It never felt crowded and there were plenty of very comfy sun beds
