An excentelly positioned apartment hotel for both the beach and shops and restaurants.

I was visit this hotel during a business trip . The staff was excellent and the hosts super friendly in an way that I was feel guilty to leave 😄. The facilities was really clean and the pool was big , clean and relaxing. the beach also was perfect and the sunset was magical in site. Great place to take pictures that follows you memories for life. thank you all for the great hospitality

This is a wonderful family run place. I used to come here as a kid back in the 80s with my parents. Unforgettable memories! It was one of the first and few apartments for rent in Platanias believe it or not! Of course much has changed but having come now as a mid 40s something, it is still a gorgeous place and more suitable for a quiet and independent traveler audience who don't like big resort type...

The biggest advantage of Sun City is the family that runs the hotel. I have never met such kind people who are like family after first encounter already. One of the best holidays we ever had! The entire family that runs the hotel is so nice you feel like you are at home. Rooms are big and allow you to take the best rest possible. I felt so comfortable and welcomed here. It is an amazing family running this place and they make you feel like you are family. I came solo and I felt safe and at peace. Great location, didn’t want to leave. Beaches are down the street, easy busy into Chania. Truly an amazing experience. Would come stay again in a heart beat.

The rooms where alright. Regular cleaning and functioning AC. What makes me lower my rating was the bitter attitude from the staff and the route you had to take to get to the restaurant/beach. It was basically a back alley with cars and huge piles of trash.

Everything was great and perfect... only onw complaint is that the mattress was in such bad shape i woke up in pain eveyday. Back pain and headaches other than that great stay. Great staff!!

Room was very clean, staff very accommodating. Terrific location close to beaches and transportation. 15 minutes to Chania by bus. Very safe area with great choice of restaurants with traditional Greek food.

The studio apartment was clean and well equipped. There were grocery stores just 2 mins away. Lot of options to eat. Beach was just 5 mins walk away. Very friendly staff and a great place for the price. Definitely would recommend for families.

This place is very nice, it is not luxury but it is very clean and peaceful. Owners and stuff are really polite, we had problem with our rent a car agency and they tried to help us. Beautiful view and perfect location, it is right on the beach! We highly recommend this small hotel to everyone!

Just come back from a week at this hotel. The hotel is lovely and the staff are, without exception, excellent. They could not do enough for us and we loved our time there. I would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice to spend all day on the beach. There is a bar and restaurant, they cook very nice and tasty.. The staff care all day, very friendly... For 2 sunbeds and an umbrella you pay 6 EUR/all day. Till you have a lunch there, they dont count it. Really reccomend this place.

Amazing service and amazing people but most of all amazing location.. the beach is in ur back yard and youre surrounded by shops and restaurants!! Even tattoo shops and arcades! Simply perfect all around.

Beautiful resort!! Everything was so clean, comfortable, and calm. Felt like a perfect relaxing escape from the hustle of Chania. Also, in the nearby area, it is only a 5 minute walk to the ocean with a stunning hiking spot for when it is too cold to swim.

An amazing and relaxing place to stay during your vacation. The room was spacious and mostly perfectly cleaned. The stuff is really kind and helpful. You can enjoy your coffee or drink by the pool. I will definitely visit Okeanis again when being near Chania. Thank you for being an outstanding hotel.

It is a nice hotel, not too big or too small. Our studio was comfortable and clean, we loved the kitchen and balcony but most of all the swiming pool. We were the first guests in the season 2021 and enjoyed the pool by ourselves. We changed the position of 2 beds and hope Christos and the cleaning lady were not angry. Lovely hotel. Christoff the owner couldn't do enough for us. He put on a BBQ in the evening for us. He even sorted out a birthday cake for my boyfriend. Hotel is spotless aswell. Can't wait to go back.

VERY NICE PLACE, Very god service, and extremely nice personnel. Delicious and quite cheap food, to eat in the pool bar day and evening. Nice location, close to very nice beach, places to shop, a little amusement place and not further than a good stroll along the beach from Chania, or a direct trip in the bus. We have been there two years in a row, and are going back again next year. LOVE this place

We have enjoyed our stay at Kallitsakis Beach Hotel. Great apartment with its own bedroom. The bed was good. A quiet hotel located right by the city center and right by the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. This was my second visit there and I would love to come back again.

We are leaving tomorrow and will be sad because we have had a fabulous time. The receptionists, owner and cleaners are all excellent, spotless apartments and nothing too much trouble. The position is perfect, lots of restaurants around and sea within view. We came last year and still as lovely. Cannot fault this accommodation in any way. You are left in peace but help is only a second away.

The air conditioner did not work well.

Nice, comfortable apartment. The beds are wonderful, the cleaning is great and all employees are very friendly and helpful. The pool is quiet, clean and equipped with sunbeds with parasols. The beach is at the end of the path, 50 meters away and the cozy center with shops, bars and restaurants around the corner. We had a fantastic time and definitely recommend this accommodation!

My family had the most amazing stay at the Kallitsakis Beach hotel. Myself and husband and our two young daughters  highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Platanias Town in Chania, Crete. The staff were extremely accommodating and friendly and allowed us to check out a little later due our daughter falling ill with a temperature. So this was a big plus. Clean and brilliant location for apartments. Well stocked for breakfast / lunch at home. Two mins to supermarket shops bars restaurants and same to beach. Lovely pool for afternoons if sea too rough. A very cozy hotel situated near the centre of Platanias. The host couple George and Sylvia are very accommodating and nice people. The hotel has a pool with the possibility to turn on a jaccuzi. This is a great hotel in a great area! The neighborhood has a market across the street, and several shops and restaurants in a 5-10 minute walk. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and have great A/C. Be sure to visit Penny's Cafe & Market while you're in the area!

Our stay was wonderful. We loved the little pool and easy access to beach and restaurants as well as the on-site parking. Breakfast was tasty and the service was lovely. The only thing I would mention is that our sink was clogged but repaired a few days into our stay.

Great location, right on the beach, with stores and restaurants in walking distance. The room was very clean, recently updated and with all the amenities one needs in a holiday. We lived in the Zinovia for 2 weeks and it felt so comfortable cause it was exactly what we wanted. The Zinovia is located in a residential area. The Mix between Hotels and Greeks living in their own properties is what we liked. Despite the surrounded lively Nightlife it was really quiet at night in the zone of the Zinovia apartments. Staying there was nice. The hotel is near bus stations and close to department stores. It’s not too far away from Chania (5 to 10 min in bus and taxi)

Peaceful and beautiful! We encountered only kindness and helpfulness the whole time. The beds were good. The outdoor area was well kept and the hotel was brand new. We will return here. Good bus connection to Chania center, 4 km. east.

I don't even know were to start, first we arrived pretty late from the airport and we were welcome from Manos with 2 shots of his "Ela" then showing us our room without any paperwork, just saying "no worries we can do it another day" what a relieve after 2 hours driving from heraklion airport!!! 2nd we were sitting at the pool and the CEO was eating there with his family, we couldn't even say no...

Wonderful, in every way! Close to the beach, Clean sandy beach and sea. The pool area is also nice and clean. Fits for couples and families, for anyone actually.
