Would’ve been nice to have a chance for a firmer and thinner pillow. The pillows in the closet were the same as the ones in bed.

The restaurants head waiter is very kind and polite. As we arrived midnight after 15h travel, we did not have any toilet paper until next day. Luckily we survived. Would have been nice to apologize immidiately and offer some extra as a kind gesture. The shower head’s upper holder was broken in our room but we weren’t bothered about it after not having toilet paper the first night. Hope they wont try...

Just returned from 14 nights in Despina Apartments, our third time, nothing is too much trouble for George, the apartments are spotless, attended to by Valentino, and the surrounding area, by George. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and shops all along the main road, and a short walk to the beach with sunbeds and shades. We are looking to go back again next year and highly recommend this complex

Couldnt fault the studio . Spotless, everything you needed .. Lovely balcony with sun in the morning then tea time . We had a lovely week's stay and were looked after by our host George. The apartments are close to the beach and are various spacious inside and are spotlessly clean. George was very helpful and knowledgeable of the area and gave us some great tips in terms of places to go. If we come back to Crete, we would definitely come back and stay at Despina Studios again. Highly recommend.

Been here 4 or 5 times now and wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else when visiting Platanias. Great hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, and a very nice pool area, including a small one for the kids. Highly recommended!

I liked it had all we expected, near the beach, nice pool, cozy and spacious room, friendly atmosphere, delicious breakfast. Wonderful sunset view and a lovely long beach. Many facilities in the area : shops, restaurants, farmacies, not very far from town Chania.

Spacious, well furnished apartment with facilities to cook if you wished. Epas, his wife and staff are very friendly, and accommodating to any request, for example advice for booking a hire car.Nice pool and good quality Sun loungers. Absolutely wonderful. The pool tops it off. Most hotell pools are small, only for cooling off. Here I could really swim, brilliant!

We had a delightful stay in a wonderful clean, spacious and cool (air conditioned) suite with spectacular views of the coast. Breakfast by the pool was excellent, and the restaurants on the beach just 5 mins walk away were superb. The host and staff were extremely nice and could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant stay here. The staff were amazing, very friendly and really helpful. The pool was a good size and the beach was just a 3 minute walk away. Absolutely worth every cent! The location is great. Easy free parking as there is a big lot right in front of the hotel. Best part is that the sunbeds are free by the beach. My partner and I paid extra for a studio apartment which sleeps 4. It was a good size and very clean throughout. The grounds are also beautifully kept. One small downside was that the shower was a bit annoying! Great location and spotlessly clean. Room large but bathroom needs updating or at least replace the shower curtain with a shower screen. This apartment hotel is a really unique place with a charm and service to really appreciate! I have taken clients here for almost 10 years now, and they keep coming back again and again. We've been to Evangelos Apartments multiple times. It is a cozy hotel, that has everything you need for your holiday. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed our comfy bed and the small backyard with it's beautiful flowers. We were very thankful for the parking area, since it might be hard to find a spot nearby sometimes. The hotel is just a minute (by foot) from the ocean.

I can't say enough good things about this place, we've stayed there twice now (in the studio with private pool) and it was amazing both times. This is the first place we've ever been back to more than once! Fantastic pool area (it's like staying in a botanical garden!), super friendly and generous staff, and really great laid back atmosphere. Short walk to several lovely beaches too.
