Achillion Palace

This hotel exceeded all my expectations. The location is perfect, just a stone's throw away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for daily seaside relaxation. The cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable, which made our stay even more comfortable and pleasant.

One of the highlights was definitely the pool, which offered stunning views that made our afternoons lounging by the water truly memorable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all our needs were met promptly.

Rooms are okey. Not newly renovated but mosty up to standards. There are air condisoner in the room. Beakfast is good, but maybe a litte few options. Pool area at the roof is easy to be full, but still a nice place to relax. Staff is very service oriented

Great location, near beach and Old Town. The garden is a big plus, perfect for breakfast. Love the pool, a good alternative for șea, when are big waves

What a gem this hotel is!! Perfect location (between the old town and Rethymno beach - a short walk to either); lovely rooms, all with balconies; a delicious, generous breakfast; amazing views from the roof top pool area; beautiful garden courtyard (perfect for reading a books); and best of all, the loveliest staff one could imagine. I very much hope to return some day.

Greece Rethmynon. A convenient hotel for the beach , Harbour & the old town with interesting lanes with great restaurants . The hotel is in the town so the rooms look out to the street . Room good with comfortable beds & the bathroom small & basic . The top floor is an excellent swimming pool where they serve drinks & light snacks . There is a lift to access all floors .

Very satisfied with everything! Staff were super kind and always helpful!. Breakfast is fine but same offerings everyday and would get alittle boring with time but that’s just my opinion. Cheers!

We stayed at the Achillion Palace Hotel with a large group for the second time and we were so glad we did! The staff is absolutely great and they will do about everything in their power to please the guests. Will definitely come back!

Achillion Palace is perfectly placed, just a short walk to the beach. Just as close you find a cosy street of restaurants. Old Town Rethymno is about 15 min walk along the Cute steets with local stores. The pool Area is clean and quiet, we Enjoyed the Nice sunbeds.
But the best part of Achillion Palace is the staff. They are very friendly and helpful, and Go out of their way to make your stay pleasant. We will definately come back and stay next time in Rethymno.

This is a low key hotel very well located close to both old town and beach...literally a 5 min walk each direction to both. We found it quiet and restful and didnt experience too much traffic noise.
Check in for us was late at night and seemeless. There was no bottled water in the room and it would have been helpful for comfort.
We requested a Kate check out as our flight wasate evening but it was nit possible due to being fully booked. We were able to use the rooftop pool after check out and bag storage was at reception. All our requests at reception were promptly dealt with. There is very little information about Crete or sight seeing available which would be useful although some booklets arrived at reception 2 days before we left. Our triple room faced overlooking their garden on 5th floor but we were in room 504 which is next to the lift. I found this could wake me up sometimes but a pair of ear plugs sorted that out. There is no tea/ coffee making facilities in the room but you can request a kettle and cups from reception and it was delivered no problem.
For a triple room it was a little tight and it was really only set up for 2 guests ie. 2 glasses, 2 chairs on the balcony etc.
The rooms were inobtrusively serviced every day if you wish and nice and clean with good bathroom supplies.. the rooftop pool area was small but nice with a great view. There were some days where there was no bar open up there but in the later part of our stay it seemed regular. Buffet breakfast was absolute fine and the waiters were chatty and approachable.
They don't serve other meals here and although there was a small bar near reception it didn't seem to be used or open most of he time. I'm sure if I had ordered something they would have opened it. There was no evening entertainment at this hotel and that was perfect for us and made for a more relaxing feel.
Lots of german visitors to this hotel and the staff spoke both german and english more or less fluently.
Overall a good comfortable stay, close to everything with friendly staff and an easy going vibe.
