Apartments in Rethymno

Situated next to the beach, within 30 min walking distance to Rethymno old town. Room spacious and clean with pool and sea views. We used breakfast option only: food was good and staff was lovely, good options of food to purchase on site for lunch etc.

Very nice and friendly staff, family friendly hotel, clean and right on the beach. We are a family with 3 small kids from Romania and we had a suite. Shops nearby and several good tavernas. Cofee could be better and the internet could be split in more premium categories. Otherwise everything was perfect and we would definetely return.

Dimitrios Villaga Beach Resort was all that we had hoped for. IT looked exclusive and had a very nice and relaxed feel to IT. Very good place to be with small children, good atmosphere, good relationship with employees, and clean. The problem is that the variety of food was nil, every day the same dishes, and sometimes not when something was over they had no more. Very limited in food, we were very disappointed. And the boss does not give much interest to the customer's opinion, nor does he care. Very bad 😡

4 stars hotel with generally good service - cleanness, food and kindness. I gave 3 stars because of dishonesty and lack of proper service in some aspects (see below). General comment - we were there at the end of season, when it was not packed, yet some of the services seemed at full capacity, for example the space around the pool area, sitting places during breakfast and mainly the parking location...

Staff are very good and make your stay more enjoyable. Food was always consistently of good quality and my wife and I are both coeliacs and gluten free was available at all times, in fact the chef once alerted to our condition, explained every dish on the buffet and made what we wanted pretty much to order.

A fantastic resort with fantastic people. The food was amazing, the facilities were kids friendly and the staff at the hotel really helped with my parents. My mum struggles to walk and my Dad has dialysis. They knew everything beforehand were very helpful. We will 100% go back next year. Thank you!

We were satisfied, we had a paid breakfast which was quite ok, often the same but basically there was everything from pastries, cereals, fruit, salami, cheeses, eggs... We went here for dinner on our last night in Crete. Beautiful setting with a small, but well judged menu. It’s perfect for couples, more restaurant like then the bustle of the tavernas which open out into the alleys. The goat dish and the moussaka were excellent. Also, the waiter was very good and recommended a cheaper wine than the one we originally ordered- always a plus!

the hotel is superbly located. in the middle of the old town - starting out you are in the middle of restaurants, shops. generally close to everywhere. However, it is worth paying attention to a few quite important things: the breakfasts are really poor. Little choice and hard to eat because ... no one replenishes the gaps. Definitely the place you have to visit if you want to join good food, a nice ambiente and absolutely friendly staff. The restaurant is placed in the most beautiful area and street in rethymno, and the stuff is even going to take pictures of you if you want so. Very good Hotel, fine roof-top Pool, fine breakfast, very good hotel room. Just one thing to complain is the street-noise, but therefor you are in the heart of town.

Would definitely recommend! Very nice hotel right next to Rethymno Beach and only a few minute walk to the old town and city centre. The hotel staff (especially the owner) was very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was very nice, comfortable and clean. Breakfast with ocean view was good and worth the price.

Good value hotel. Rooms could do with a tiny refresh but overall a nice place to stay. Location is good and the young receptionist was very friendly. She talked to us about her impending London trip and made us feel welcome.

The hotel is a good choice for moderate comfortable and calm vacation. Apartments include needed commodities: WiFi, conditioner and small kitchen with cutlery. Rooms are cleaning every day. It was our first trip to Crete and Ariadne Hotel was a very good host. Super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, nice swimming pool, 2 minutes walk from the beach. 5 km away from the old city of Rethymno (waiting for the local bus can take up to one hour ), but plenty of good restaurants right next to the hotel.

It is a lovely hotel with a very good location and with nice staff. Our room and the hotel was clean, altough the furnitures in the rooms are old. For me the shower was a little bit uncomfortable, and the bed was noisy, but it's totally worth it for the price. In my opinion the breakfast was not very tasty, the eggs and the cold meals (salami etc) were not good, the coffe from the machine is bad. So...

Very friendly and helpful (for example they gave scales for luggage) staff, clean rooms, breakfast plentiful. Although with open windows a lot of noise seeps in from the street and the pool is small and shady. The beach and the old town are a few minutes walk away. Unfortunately parking is very difficult in the area.

This appartmenthotel is absolutely great. Premium location near the beach and the old town. Staff is superfriendly and so really helpful. Beds are a bit hard but I loved them. Great with the pool to cool of and take it a bit slow before dinner :)

Great family. Spotless rooms. Incredibly clean beds (every 2 days) a few things could be improved. Bedside lamps. Bracket on shower.Microwave. But all in all, great value for money . I would go again. Xx

Lovely staff, who are easy to talk too, and eager to help. The rooms are spacious and is close to the beach. The hotel is a bit out of town centre, so you will have to travel. There are buses that come regularly however, and you can get tickets from most stores nearby

We spent two weeks at Leonidas hotel with our 10 months old baby. We had a great stay, the hotel is very modern and new. But the best part of our stay was the friendliness of the family that runs the hotel. We were greeted with smiles and cuddles for our little baby. We felt at home. Thank you!

We stayed in Argo for 7 nights, no major criticisms, but there was always room for improvement. The staff were friendly and the transport links were great. Calm, no families, great for couples, at the end of the beach walk, not much traffic heard only if you have a room toward the side road. Some things is a bit run down by age, wifi doesn't reach the apartments at the far back since the router is at the reception, electricity can be tricky in some apartments.... but if you look for a chill and calm vacay - sun, bath, chill. This could be your spot!

Perfect location, just crossing the street to reach an amazing beach. Hotel have its own restaurant but there are lots of bars, restaurants for different preferences. Hotel staff are extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are clean and modern. Parking space around the hotel would be difficult but depends on the hour or the car type. Very nice accommodations. Across the street from the beach. We had a sea view room. It was nice. There are kitchenettes in the room. Plus the bathroom is a bit tight. Otherwise great experience. We have just returned from Rethymno and after moving hotels (wasn't happy with our first choice) found the Kleoniki Mare. We were offered the only room available, the top floor apartment with our own private terrace. We loved it! We were able to sunbathe, play our music and enjoy the quiet, play cards etc. We have booked to return next year as we were so happy with the apartment, location, staff ...

Hotel is clean and good quality. The woman at the reception was super nice. It is a small 10 minute walk to the old town restaurant and party area, but the walk is nice and at the beach. I’m the night it is quiet and a pool and aircondition helps to cool down. Worth the money :)

Great value for money! Slightly older building, but clean and well maintained. Good service. The kitchenette and air-conditioning worked. The free Wi-Fi is probably not fast enough because it kept freezing while all guests were awake. The pool is small but cleaned regularly. Probably the biggest strength for this hotel is its location. Got a last minute deal to rethymno booked this hotel thought it looked a bit iffy due to its two star rating. What a result...excellent location, staff on arrival were so helpful, room was basic but had everything we needed, good quality bed, air con that worked.
