The room was very clean and tidy when we arrived. All appliances seem to work as well as toilets,sinks and shower. The extra bathroom downstairs is nice to have ! It's been super quiet outside so far! I would recommend this place to stay.

Had an excellent stay at the Apollon Hotel. Very friendly, clean and relaxing. Staff were great, Maria, jack and Clarissa (who did try to teach us Greek) only did learn yamass 😄 pool area was quite, which we liked however think that was just with covid. Views were amazing however you do need to catch 3 different elevators or take stairs so you need to weigh up if its worth it for a view as to be honest lots of lower floor rooms seemed ok however the lower you go the more likely to have shade on your balcony and less of a view but I would say maybe floor 4 upwards would be a good...

Good value self catering apartments, with a good cleaning service. Grounds have a delightful variety of fruit trees and plants. Relaxed atmosphete and friendly helpful service. There are a number of cats that patrol the grounds. We have had a lovely holiday based here in Crete.

Just had a week at this hotel with all the family. The staff were lovely, George, Ella and Mrs Joanna. They could not have done more to help in the circumstances. my dear i recently spent holidays in crete. I stayed with my wife and two children at the Bueno Hotel. We were greeted by a nice old lady, probably the mother of the owner. We have been back 4 times because it's a very, lovely place indeed, Manolis and Nikki are lovely and look after all your needs . It's quiet but only 5 minutes walk from tavernas and your usual holiday shops .

Had already been here in 2019 and also 2024 didnt change my mind. The place is not to be missed for its large rooms with all comforts and its location, in the old town but facing the sea, which has no rivals if not in the newer (eastern) part of the town. Great hotel in a perfect location!! The breakfast was delicious in the patio, next to the swimming pool. All the members of staff were super helpful, polite, friendly and kind. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is located very centrally, in the old town centre and is convenient to walk around Rethymno. I would definitely go back!

The best place we booked in Crete. Very nice and functional apartment, the building is really charming, in a cute and quiet part of the old city. Irini the receptionist was so nice : welcoming, helping, funny and she made great breakfast with fresh orange juice and fruits every morning.

We went to Veranda Rossa for a week in October and had a truly wonderful time. The apartment is stunning and newly renovated and is located in the picturesque old town of Rethymno. A free car park is available at 1 min walk from the flat, which made things really easy after a long trip. We were treated to a welcome bottle of wine and to traditional Greek breakfast, which was plentiful and varied each...
