Excellent hotel on the sea front. Just a bit of a pity that the beach area was a bit lacking for such a quality hotel.

1 minute to the main town but still peaceful tucked away down a quiet street. 30 seconds to a lovely sandy beach with one of the best sunsets I have seen. The hotel is simple, clean, nice home cooked food

Dear Polyvios, thank you again for our wonderful place to stay while being on Crete. I have to point out that I loved the very clean rooms with clean towels every day, that was very comfy

Also the food was very good and I liked that it was so native. It was near to the beach and also near to the main road with shopping and bars, but very silent for a good sleep

Not a massive selection of food but the food they do is extremely tasty. A peaceful and quiet relaxing hotel rather than young and lively. Really friendly staff especially George on the bar and ireene in the restaurant

Well what a hotel. The staff were excellent and very helpful. Organised most things for us. Rooms lovely and clean.Fantastic location.Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

But anyway - with some creativity one could reschedule and move to the beach area, where sunbeds were available for quite a fair price (Between 5 to 7 Euros per day for two sunbeds and a parasol)

I did not stay at this hotel, just been to their beach and they got the most friendly and serviceminded staff at the beach. If possible, I would give 10 stars for their effort to make every guest feel good at the beach

We spent two weeks in Odyssia Beach Hotel in Late July and Early August. Most guests during that time were german-speaking with occassional french and dutch guests

Combined with the fact, that it is the only area where sunbeds were free of charge, the place tended to be rather crowded

It was our third stay in the hotel and we really enjoyed. A special thanks to the kind Sophia serving our cappuccino every evening. The massages in the hotel spa are also very good and the spa ladies are very nice

We saw here dancing and would love to see a Salsa Show in the evening entertainment of our hotel (maybe it's possible next year ?♡) We hope Nora will be here next year again!!!

small and cozy hotel right on the beach! All rooms have breathtaking seaview! You feel like home from the first second you arrive! Homemade breakfast every day and delicious light snacks next to the sea!

My wife and I had a delightful time. Great breakfast, gorgeous private beach and lovely, helpful staff. Rooms are a bit small but they have all the amenities and the balconies compensate tremendously.

The rooms are clean and well equipped. The patio at the back is just a few steps away from the sandy beach

I quite liked the pool as it is protected by the building in the shade, l don't like staying in the sun, so this was a perfect choice for me! I will not hesitate to recommend this place to a friend!

Amazing host and so friendly, hotel is gorgeous and in great location. We loved it! The only think that our room glass surfaces in the bathroom wasn’t cleaned and the sheet was a bit dirty but they changed it other day

my dear i recently spent holidays in crete. I stayed with my wife and two children at the Bueno Hotel. We were greeted by a nice old lady, probably the mother of the owner. The hotel itself is worth three stars

Plenty of beers and cocktails at the bar served by Ella and a great time was had by all. Nice quiet location off the main road. George also provided a delicious chocolate cake for our grandsons birthday

Just had a week at this hotel with all the family. The staff were lovely, George, Ella and Mrs Joanna. They could not have done more to help in the circumstances

Just down the beach is a cool bar/resturaunt called "Jungle Bar" so if you don't want to leave the area all day, you don't have to. Would highly recommend, and if in the area, would stay here again

Those people, the view, the distance to the old part of town, the see, the price!! Outrageous!!! Unbelievable! I think we couldn't have had it better than that. When Crete - definately comming back here!!! For sure!!

This place was absolutely perfect. Our room had a perfect view, the pool is great, with direct beach access. The water when we were there was warm, and extremely calm at low tide, you can walk out into the sea for ages

It's 5 Euros into town, as this place is on the opposite side of the town from the main "party tourist" sandy beach area, which we prefer

Welcome to ancient Greece, elegant and refined place, ideal for couples. Top service, The waiters do not seem to be there but when you are about to finish the wine in the glass they have already filled it

So always present at the right time. The food was fantastic, fresh and tasty like the Greek land. Great price: bottle of wine, two appetizers, two first courses, water and covered for a total of 30 euros each

The nice thing is that with 60 euros you eat delicious things seeing the sea and the rocks

Also, it would have been nice to have coffee and tea available in the rooms since there is no staff available until 9:00. But I must say the staff was quite friendly and helpful, absolutely no complaints with them at all

Booked this place for my mother, and the best part about the hotel was the owner a woman named Smaragdi. She was extremely accommodating and friendly and made my mother's stay lovely

Also important to note, though the hotel is right above numerous loud restaurants, you cannot hear a THING at night. Thanks to thick stone walls the rooms are dead silent

Generously bought her a souvlaki from downstairs the first night, and made and had Greek coffee with her in the morning

The villa is situated on top of a mountain so you always have a nice breeze but above all lots of privacy and a beautiful view. We have already rented this villa 3 times in the preseason and in the summer period

Villa Ikaros is a wonderful villa to stay in the early season but also in the summer period. The villa has 3 lovely bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, giving you more than enough room for a large family

Room service every 3 days, pool service every 2 -3 days. But it is probably normal in Crete

Me and my girlfriend spend 9 days here and it was amazing! The hotel is run by a great and lovely family that takes care of All their guests, the breakfast was great aswell! The rooms are Nice and big and the beds lay great! They also have cats that are really nice and cute :) The pool was amazing and the beach is close by!

A wonderfully relaxed and welcoming place. A group of apartments set around the beautiful pool and two minutes walk from a stretch of quiet beach

This is away from the noisy resorts, but has plenty of restaurants nearby and is a 40 minute walk along the beach to the town

•the beach nearby is basically a sewage dump and you can sometimes smell it at the apartment if you go towards that area

I really really LOVE this place, we come here for more than 20 years and it was always a pleasure! The Family is super nice and friendly, the Rooms are good and clean, The Snacks and Drinks are perfect and the pool is really big and there is a pool for children as well!

If you want to relax more stay put because they have a kitchen that covers all your needs. And yess the food they serve is good. Maybe not that bad with current electricity prices as I know airco can be expensive
