Excellent hotel on the sea front. Just a bit of a pity that the beach area was a bit lacking for such a quality hotel.

Beautyfull house with history! Lovely details! Wonderful breakfast place on the seaside! The street outside is very busy and loud, but not in the hotel! The staff is very kind and friendly!

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent, comfy beds, great staff and it's on the sea! The beach nearby is pebbly and it's a 25 minute walk to the old town - not a huge amount to do in the immediate area, but the hotel itself more than makes up for that!

Sea front suite in Rethymno I booked a Jr. suite and it is very nicely appointed. The air conditioning works perfectly

The room is maintained nicely and I had a loft bedroom facing the sea with a small balcony overlooking the sea. The decor was very nice with a living area with sofa, cocktail table

Great for families too with a children's pool and you don't have to cross a road to access the beach. There's also a good bus service into Rethymnon and lots of bars, restaurants, and hotels in Missiria

I did not stay at this hotel, just been to their beach and they got the most friendly and serviceminded staff at the beach. If possible, I would give 10 stars for their effort to make every guest feel good at the beach

Special big Thank to Georgios. We were met with a big smile every day, and they helped us with sunbeds, drinks and free water to make sure we did not dehydrate in the sun. I have no problems recommanding this place

It was our third stay in the hotel and we really enjoyed. A special thanks to the kind Sophia serving our cappuccino every evening. The massages in the hotel spa are also very good and the spa ladies are very nice

There are toilets and a shower available at the hotel when you are on the beach or terrace, which saves you having to go back to your room. Rethymno old town about 25 mins walk

Our room was large ,comfortable and very cool with the much needed air conditioning. Shower was a little small but still useable

small and cozy hotel right on the beach! All rooms have breathtaking seaview! You feel like home from the first second you arrive! Homemade breakfast every day and delicious light snacks next to the sea!

Such a beautiful hotel we had a fantastic week there. All the staff were fabulous,nothing too much trouble. Eva the manager was fabulous,so friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is lovely and plentiful

Tables on the terrace, with parasol, all by the sea. A real pleasure every morning! Outdoor swimming pool located under the hotel, so little sun, but sea so close and warmer than the swimming pool ;-)

Plenty of sunbeds and parasols which were free to use and lots of beach towels available all day. This was a great bonus as many places charge for sunbeds etc

The Ammos Suites offer just 15 modern, beautifully appointed rooms above a very smart bar set around a delightful, cool and quiet courtyard and pool - directly across the road from the beach

The hotel is spotlessly clean, there was a good variety of food at breakfast, good bar area, ample sunbeds on beach and staff that couldn't be more polite and helpful

On the sea road in to the town centre, approx. 20 minute walk, it is ideal to explore the locality. The staff are superb, from Filio the manager, the cleaner is a lovely lady

Excellent location in Rythmno, across the road from the beach and close to all the restaurants. The rooms are very spacious and the staff super helpful

A great selection of drinks, food and cleanliness set this gorgeous hotel apart. It was such a beautiful week and would highly recommend staying here. I have stayed in other 5* hotels and this is one of the best

The spa was excellent (and a little expensive) and the view over the ocean relaxing. The beach was on the other side of a road, but that was not a problem as there was a 30 km/h speed limit and pedestrian crossing

Had a very enjoyable week at Bueno. A quiet street, 1 min from beach. Bar is friendly with lots of comfy seats and happy staff. This hotel has everything we need on our holidays

The rooms are quite basic but for a week stay they were perfect if you are not in your room too much. As we went in October the pool area was quiet and was perfect for relaxing in the day

The pool area has a snack bar (salads, pizzas, gyros) and was really high quality food. There are also amazing restaurants surrounding the hotel - which were amazing (Taverna Galera, Prima Plora and Karnagio)

The breakfast is just a standard European breakfast, perfect for just grabbing a bite to eat in the morning. The sea is right on the doorstep

We have just come back from our amazing stay in this hotel. The location is perfect if you are happy to have a 20 minute stroll into the main town, or even get a taxi (7/8 euros)

The hotel is well located in front of beach, they have a very big and enjoyable swimming pool with lots of chairs and umbrellas, breakfast is good and have fresh fruits, the restaurant serves delicious Greek food and it's not expensive! They offer some beach chairs and umbrellas for 5 euro for the day

Well positioned to beach, good terrace and pool. Clean rooms. Unfortunately they don't have plates and cutlery in room, witch is strange when the room is equipped with electrical hob...

The staff is super friendly and helpful! 😊 The rooms are clean and depending of your luck you might get an renovated room or old one, we stayed on the old apartment but it wasn't that bad, except the toilet which was not so good and comfortable to use and shower box which didn't have the soap hanger or curtains

Damage to the mosquitoes and the restaurant available. But the shopping street to 100 m if one wants to eat. Swimming pool too cold but very well maintained. Pleasant garden with shady palm trees for those who wish

Special swimming shoes are necessary for entry, and caution is required. However, many people swim without any problems, so it's not a major issue :) The beach itself is very beautiful with stunning sunsets

Additionally, the sea entrance is not the easiest – about 4-5 meters from the shore, there are large flat stones/rocks with holes that can be slippery

Amazing hotel. The management is always at your disposal and ready to assist. The housekeeping is doing a great job since the rooms are clean. Food always fresh and tasty. I will definitely come back next year.

This is not a four star hotel, at best it would be 3 stars. The food is mid tier as well and the rooms are not as good looking as in the pictures

It should be mentioned that some rooms are not exactly 5 star visually at least, but who stays in a room at the hotel? :) In the end, it is a hotel that I would gladly return to due to its location on the island, the beach and the staff

ARB is a great family beach featuring a lot of great amenities. It has a sweet children’s club. From 1-3 there is a small daily fee, then from 4 and up, it is free

But on the other had, the pools were really great and so was the new water park. The toilets were too few and a bit far from the beach. There's a small shop inside with essentials and reasonably priced

There was a good selection of food and everything tasted great. Dining experience was top notch. The beach is a combo of sand and pebbles. Unfortunately there are also bigger rocks

Once you get over them, the sea bottom is pleasant. But it might not be a great spot for children. This is also because of the usual waves on Crete in general

We have just returned from our second stay with this hotel with my partner (our last time was in 2018) and we enjoyed this second visit so much more! Staff were really friendly, very helpful and polite

The only thing I would slightly improve is the hair dryer in the bathroom – it heats up quickly and doesn’t work that well, but it’s just a small detail compared to how great everything else was

The food was delicious, with lots of variety and rich local flavors – special greetings to Chef Fotis for the incredible meals. Everyone working here makes the experience even more enjoyable

The beach is sandy (rare in Europe!) and there is plenty of seating. There is one large swimming pool with ample seating

While the property feels spacious and luxurious, none of the common areas ever felt crowded. There were no lines for breakfast, no rush to reserve pool-side seats, no queue at check-in or out

While the cleanliness of the pool wasn’t always at the same spotless level as the rest of the property, it did not detract from the overall experience

I booked a luxurious villa, only 50 meters away from a private beach. The exclusive private beach was equipped with sun loungers and sunshades. Villa was very clean and modern. Had a pool and it was amazing

The hotel is small and cozy, which makes it feel a bit more intimate than the larger resorts, which is a good thing. If we come back to Crete, we'll stay here!

Lovely property with a private beach and within walking distance to many restaurants and cafes in Reythmno town. Everything is superbly clean and comfortable

Staff are very helpful and friendly - they did a great job organising a day trip for us. There are three pools (two outdoor and an indoor heated one)

Everything in the hotel is very clean and well maintained and the room quality was 1st rate. One minor issue in the maisonette is the very small wardrobe in the upstairs bedroom a small set of drawers would help

The only drawback is that the gym is tiny and can only accommodate three people at a time, so if you are a regular user, you'll need to book slots ahead of time

It was a very luxery and nice complex. The Hotel have luxe rooms, all the things works, luxe ligthing system etc. Also to have a balcony is nice. Every day the rooms are cleaned and the water and coffee cups are filled

Bare in mind that if you had a nice day in the city or at an excursion, you will not be able to use the pool. Personally I would have loved to have a refreshing dive at the end of the day

Everything is spotless, and having two pools is a big plus (though it’s a pity that loungers are often “reserved” with towels and left unused). The food is excellent with a wide selection for both breakfast and dinner

We were lucky to receive an upgrade, and I would definitely choose Aegean Pearl (5★) again over Pearl Beach

There are bikes available for rent at the front (not owned by the hotel), but activation can take a while, especially if your phone number isn’t accepted

The bathroom is open-style, which might not suit everyone – as two friends traveling together, it wasn’t always convenient

Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, with a welcome basket of fruit and a bottle of wine

The location is also very good, right by the sea, opposite the beach is nice, there are two swimming pools in the hotel, the children had a lot of fun playing in the water

Good location - 35 mins walk from town centre. Extremely kind and helpful staff. Well mantained swimming pool and good rooms. However, there were quite a few bits that i expect from a '5-star' property that were missing

We had a fantastic family Reunion here. The staff are super accommodating. The spa was a great treat, the pool fun to hang out and the food was delicious and varied.

The sea view rooms provide a picturesque view of the beautiful Cretan sea; however, it’s important to note that these rooms overlook the road separating the hotel from the beach

The Atlantis Beach was a good choice for my visit to Rethymnon. A free room upgrade made it even better Lovely pool and hotel beach across the road. Good breakfast selection each day

We enjoyed our stay here. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. We are vegan and could always find healthy options. The staff are very professional and helpful. We also enjoyed the private beach.

Finally, I’d like to mention that the adult pools close at 7:00 PM — exactly when it would be ideal to take a swim and enjoy the moment. This is incomprehensible to me

Unfortunately, there are also a few negative points: I'll start with the room we stayed in and the neighboring ones — the sound insulation is very poor; you can't get any rest at night, as it feels like the windows are always open (the rooms face back a road with constant traffic)

And one last thing: I didn't understand why there are no mosquito nets on the windows, especially considering the high number of mosquitoes

Then there's the metalic spiral staircase, which feels like you're climbing into an attic — very uncomfortable and undesirable

That being said, it is still a pleasant place, above the average offer in the area

We stayed at Grecotel Plaza Beach House for my birthday and had a fantastic time

People are usually staying near pool, so almost all sunbeds are taken (and yes, some guests are still having the habit of leaving a towel on a sunbed but showing up 3 hours later)

On the bright sight, there is plenty of room on the beach and the view is 10 times better. The sea entry is rocky, so it’s better to have swimming shoes with you

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

We also went to Rethymno for a day, which is 10 mins drive. The receptionist called us a taxi which cost us 10 euro

You’ll be able to find anything you want no matter whether you are vegetarian, pescatarian, carnivore etc

Evening meal time there seems to be cats everywhere and for me this a huge No No , not only unhygienic it's not appropiate while people are eating , for me personally being allergic to cats I really don't want to eat here

We are half board and seriously would not do this again as we've found it a waste of money. The place is clean and staff friendly and the facilities are good. But you are better to go bed and breakfast

The cleaners are thorough and very kind - it take around 15-20 minutes to walk to the beach, but you can go in the shadows trough the old town and do some windowshopping on hour morning walk

Situated just at the edge of the old town this beautiful Venetian residence is perfectly located. The staff are excellent and always available and very helpful. This hotel is a credit to the owners 10/10 👍

Fab location, the hotel is well managed by the lovely Mr Polyrios and his assistant Vozalia. Its constantly cleaned, towels changed everyday. Location is brill, 5 mins from the seafront

1 minute to the main town but still peaceful tucked away down a quiet street. 30 seconds to a lovely sandy beach with one of the best sunsets I have seen. The hotel is simple, clean, nice home cooked food

Nice hotel close to the beach and has a small pool as well, big apartment style rooms with small kitchens

We just stayed there for the last 4 days and it was wonderful. Georgios is a great host and we felt like home at Olympia. The location is perfect, 2 min by feet to the sea and to many nice restaurants

Great hotel. Very clean, elegant, stylish. On a very busy and loud street but with great soundproofing. Also has a nice pool. The reception is very helpful and friendly.

The pool and pool bar are very cozy. The beds were also very comfortable and the A/C is working perfectly, we could sleep very well with 35 degrees outside

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. It was very clean, tidy, well equipped. The staff are lovely and friendly, very helpful too. plenty of towels and very nice touch, slippers

It is close enough to Rethymno town, nice walk or short ride in taxi. We will stay again if we get the chance. Our stay was middle of June 2014

Our room was basic but clean, the showers were quite cold but with the hot weather this wasn't much of an issue! The pool was a bit green and murky, we did swim but maybe not as often as we would have liked as it could have been cleaner

A few weeks ago my family and I stayed at solimar emerald. We chose it because of its proximity to the beautiful city of Rethymnon while the sea is directly opposite the hotel

We stayed here for five days and all the staff were so welcoming and eager to please, we felt right at home. There is a beach right across the road which was lovely

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful while the food also impressed us positively. Something that was also important and worth mentioning is the attention they pay to safety and hygiene due to covid19

The place is very good, quiet, for familly with children - amazing place. The staff always smiling, polite and friendly. One thing - the could be more fruit variety

We were impressed by the calm that prevails throughout the day. The rooms are very large and I consider it to be one of the cleanest hotels we have ever been to

(We took a taxi) Not one fault could I find in the hotel But lots that exceed my expectations of a 3 star. Including the towels provided at the pool. Waitress service with drinks/ food too

Breakfast was simple but tasty and filling. Lots of sitting areas around the pool and in the lobby makes the hotel feel welcoming and inviting. The location is very convenient too

There is nothing bad about this place. Centrally located in the old town, an abundance of restaurants and shops at your fingertips. Walking distance to harbour and beach

Location is ideal for the little streets in the old town but not as convenient for the beach in the heat with walking problems

Though, the problem was quickly solved the next day with a kind help of a wonderful lady - Chrisoula, who literally saved our stay and made it so much more satisfying. The hotel itself is a very cozy place

It is a very nice and stylish hotel, very comfortable and relaxing too. Our stay started as a disappointment with the room we have got and the reception clerk that didn’t show any care about the situation

We spent our honeymoon at Omiros and were completely satisfied. It's a nice, well laid out Adults Only hotel with around 40 rooms. It's a great place to relax by the pool and it's only a 2 minute walk to the beach

The hotel also provides free sunbeds on the beach. The room was very nice and tastefully decorated in boho style. Our room was always very clean and there was free water brought to the room every day

Gorgeous Hotel! So quite and relaxing the staff were great, the room was really big and comfortable, we almost always had the terrace or the pool to ourselves in the afternoons to relax, cocktails great, and the breakfast was super tasty with loads of choices! I wouldn't recommend an evening meal with slow service and only average food (they only have a small kitchen and it's never busy) but other...

Beach spot was 5minutes away with food and beverage service with complimentary snacks i. Cocktails are reasonably priced

Overall would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing quiet but friendly beach holiday to refresh and unwind

Really good experience met really friendly, accommodating and warm staff. Rooms were very big almost like a b&b. Food was amazing freshly cooked upon request. Breakfast had lots of variety definitely worth having
