Best resort in Retymnon, Crete. DELICIOUS food, fresh cocktails, large rooms, very clean beach....

We absolutely loved this place. The welcome was outstanding with just the right amount of information. The activities were discrete, really great and kid's club spot on

The room was simply fantastic—spacious, beautifully designed, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The extra room in the suite was a game-changer, giving us a comfortable space to relax while our baby was sleeping

The loungers were comfy, towels plentiful and there was no banging music (phew!) It felt really high class and like a luxury stay. Thank you, Grecotel Creta Palace for a very memorable 5 days

Family disco was well handled and the Saolin Acrobats out of this world. The staff were immaculately friendly, polite and engaged even though our stay was the very last week of the season

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Grecotel! Upon arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a suite, and it exceeded all our expectations

Easygoing hotel, with good access to amenities locally, short distance to beach, restaurants, good access for taxis and pickup locations for excursions. Room was clean, large and air conditioned

But, all clean and the hotel boasts several pools and a good restaurant. One things is the Hotel has a good cross section of visitors, always a good sign

Even the first day we were surprised in a perfect way when they gave us upgrade from double room to suite apartment for the same price an when we open the door from room there was one more surprise - champagne, wine and fruit for warm welcome

Don't be put off by corridors, they are a little shabby but the rooms are fabulous, we had a suite thanks to a free upgrade. Fruit, wine and baguettes were left for us, welcome after a late arrival

The view from balcony was just magic. Friendly,kind and most helpful staff In any way. If they can help you they will for sure. The room was perfectly clean all the time

The pool areas are clean and tidy a nice area to relax with lots of sunbeds, we visited beginning of September. Entertainment was OK, usual holiday offerings

We are half board and seriously would not do this again as we've found it a waste of money. The place is clean and staff friendly and the facilities are good. But you are better to go bed and breakfast

Great hotel especially for families. Rooms are very practical, the 3 pools are great, people are very nice. Not a lot of animations but the beach is very close with loads of restaurants bars...

Booked through Tui and it is spacious, very clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Very well appointed and well thought out Covid safety measures.

Evening meal time there seems to be cats everywhere and for me this a huge No No , not only unhygienic it's not appropiate while people are eating , for me personally being allergic to cats I really don't want to eat here

Was here 3 years ago and it was amazing unfortunately on return this year we have found the evening meal to have gone down hill rapidly , not much choice , doesn't taste of much

Such a shame , won't be returning as for what they charge I'm disaapointed

This was by far the best hotel that we have ever stayed in. The location is excellent- a 25min walk into the old town down the beach, passing shops, cafes and restaurants

We enjoyed our stay here. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. We are vegan and could always find healthy options. The staff are very professional and helpful. We also enjoyed the private beach.

Stayed for 11nights at this wonderful hotel. Where do I start! Reception staff were so helpful. The staff at the restaurant are amazing so friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, Always served with a smile

This is surely a hotel that I won't forget quickly, in a good sense that is, at arrival we got taken care of our luggage who came to take it to our rooms, we got seated and welcomed with a glass of orange juice and a fresh towel

Reception and concierge service was good. We made certain arrangements in advance of our arrival (car hire and a guide for a specialist trip). The recommendations were spot on. It was buffet style, like the evening meals

We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening partly because it was a buffet and partly because there was a good selection of restaurants nearby. There were good Covid protocols in place

Far enough from the tourist traps, but also close enough to walk to the old town. The beach is kept very clean, and is very nice and enjoyable. I just wish we would have stayed longer

Probably the best sea view restaurant in Retimno, the staff are very welcoming, the food is delicious, highly recommend to visit if you are in Retimno

The property is located right on the beach, where the waves are constantly breaking. The room was beautiful with a bathroom next to the bed upstairs. And you always look at the sea

Excellent the geography of the hotel. Within walking distance of the Fortezza, the old town, the promenade, port. The hotel is fully correspond to its stars. Food and drinks are of excellent quality

Well, I don't understand how it is possible for water at the dinner is paid extra to take , that's not very nice and ugly. Maid service is good, but not regular. She would have, but there is no miss

Just returned from a 7 days stay in Bio Suits Hotel and it was amazing. The apartment was super clean with all the necessary accomodations you can think of

1 minute to the main town but still peaceful tucked away down a quiet street. 30 seconds to a lovely sandy beach with one of the best sunsets I have seen. The hotel is simple, clean, nice home cooked food

Also the food was very good and I liked that it was so native. It was near to the beach and also near to the main road with shopping and bars, but very silent for a good sleep

Not a massive selection of food but the food they do is extremely tasty. A peaceful and quiet relaxing hotel rather than young and lively. Really friendly staff especially George on the bar and ireene in the restaurant

We had a really great week at this hotel! The staff were excellent, really helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent every morning with a good selection of local foods alongside staples

Nearby was some great family tavernas, bakeries, a decent supermarket and a good car hire place that we used. Rethymno old town was an easy 30 min stroll away and a fabulous place to visit

The location is absolutely breathtaking, directly across the sea. You can have a nice walk to Rethymno city along the beach from here. I really recommend the breakfast buffet, they also accommodate dietary restrictions

We both had fantastic massages in their wellness centre on our last day which were a (necessary!) highlight. Room was fairly basic but we were really only there to sleep so not so much of a problem for us!

Staff is as friendly as usual in Greece, from housekeeping to waiters and receptionists. I will definitely keep coming back. In my opinion, this is the most beautiful hotel in Crete

The stay at Plaza Beach was a fantastic experience. The staff were polite and the room was cleaned regularly. The staff were approachable and provided a professional service

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

Sometimes we could hear the neighbours do the horizontal tango, but hey, that's what a holiday is for. The all-inclusive buffets vary from day to day and are excellent, except for the wines, die smaken wat wrang

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

Er is één mevrouw bij de receptie die zelfs Nederlands spreekt. Our room (nummer 217, 😊) is well sized with private balcony, airco and jacuzzi. It is all kept clean daily, including making the beds door twee lieve dames

If you need anything special there is a small shop on the territory of the hotel or you can go into the town 10 mins, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including Lidl

Located right on the beach. 15 minutes from the old town. Clean rooms. Quite large. Comfortable bed. Small swimming pool. Good experience in total.

The entire staff of this hotel needs to be commended. Friendly, helpful, courteous and most of all went out of their way to assure we had everything we needed. The breakfast buffet was amazing

The restaurant also has good food and the breakfast is heavenly with lots of food to choose from. It's also very close to the beach and other restaurants and shops. Highly recommen staying at this place :D

The location was perfect right across the street from the beach. We had a parking space directly in front of the hotel. I cannot say enough good things about it

Personally for me, the quality of the Wi-Fi was crucial, first of all, as I planned to work remotely from room. It was great and stable, about 30 Mb/s. The beach exceeded all my expectations, the sea looked like an ocean

Staning beakfast everyday! Everyone can find something for themself! Of course a lot of Greek food but also French, English, Deuch thing what was so perfect so everyone! The lady who's works at the breakfast was so nice and welcome you with a smile on their faces! I also love that the owner of the hotel ( we eat ours breakfast at 8 ) was sitting with us and also smilling all the time and then she said...

In one night me and my friends where near the swimming pool at 12 in the night because it was my birthday and the owner surprised us with shots on the house and even brought a sparking candle and sang me happy birthday

Every morning, we lived the ‘breakfast with orange juice on the balcony’ cliché, and we loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful, the place well-kept, and since it’s a smaller building, it felt cozy and never crowded

The beach access was perfect, with our own sunbeds that were always well-maintained. A real hidden gem! Great location with easy access to beautiful Rethymno, plus parking by the lifeguard tower made everything easy

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Rethymnon town. It's located right in front of Koumbes Beach, alongside other holiday homes. The suite was very new and well-maintained

We had a room on a higher floor facing the main road, which could be a bit noisy with the balcony door open. The property has a lift, making it easy to move our luggage

This is a very good choice for adults🥰 The rooms are big and bright, the breakfast is super fresh and truly amazing, with good variety of warm food, fruits from the owners own garden, and homemade cakes and jams every day! You eat breakfast outside in the common area next to the pool

Situated just at the edge of the old town this beautiful Venetian residence is perfectly located. The staff are excellent and always available and very helpful. This hotel is a credit to the owners 10/10 👍

We just stayed there for the last 4 days and it was wonderful. Georgios is a great host and we felt like home at Olympia. The location is perfect, 2 min by feet to the sea and to many nice restaurants

Great hotel. Very clean, elegant, stylish. On a very busy and loud street but with great soundproofing. Also has a nice pool. The reception is very helpful and friendly.

The pool and pool bar are very cozy. The beds were also very comfortable and the A/C is working perfectly, we could sleep very well with 35 degrees outside

It is close enough to Rethymno town, nice walk or short ride in taxi. We will stay again if we get the chance. Our stay was middle of June 2014

The hotel has a really nice location. The quality of the hotel is quite average. We stayed there for 7 nights and breakfast was every day with the same selection of food

The owner is super friendly and gave us many tips on where to eat authentic Greek food at great prices! Within walking distance are many great restaurants at beautiful locations but should you want to eat in the city centre, the hotel is located at walking distance

But perhaps the thing that amazed the most is its owner: I stayed during 10 days, and he was standing for receiving guests Everytime I get in and out of the hotel, from 7:00 am, and 1:00 am

And I don't know how old is he, but I am sure he is over 65. No wonder this hotel works so well, with such a hard working owner/manager. Going there is not an option, is a must

In fact, there is a sliding mirror in the room that one can put aside so that one can see the ocean from the shower

Three stars do not do justice to its quality. The rooms are perfect, with a wonderful sight to the ocean

We got an upgrade to a fabulous 2-bed suite with lovely sea view. Lovely pool, friendly staff and good food. Pity we only stayed one night here, will stay longer next time.

The hotel has different kind of facilities, but because of the COVID, most of them are closed besides the outdoor pool and the massage. All in all the hotel is recommendable

Also, the housekeeping service was not good, they often left dirty items and a sink full of dirty dishes, even though we did our best to keep the unit clean on our own

the location is good nice shops good restaurants when you cross the street you are almost on the beautiful beach we had a really great stay and we will definitely come back

Grand Leoniki Residence gave us the true Crete Experience, it felt very authentic from start to finish. Would put a higher rating if possible
