I won’t go into listing all the services and amenities — there’s already plenty written about that, and yes, they’re all great. For me, this place is not about what they have. It’s about how they make you feel

Maria, Antigoni, Angelos, Stefania, Eleftheria, Nikos, Nikoleta are always smiling, attentive, and full of light. The beach bar and the restaurant felt like a little haven, thanks to them

It isn’t about what is offered, but the heart behind it. That kind of thoughtfulness is rare, and unforgettabke

Easygoing hotel, with good access to amenities locally, short distance to beach, restaurants, good access for taxis and pickup locations for excursions. Room was clean, large and air conditioned

But, all clean and the hotel boasts several pools and a good restaurant. One things is the Hotel has a good cross section of visitors, always a good sign

Even the first day we were surprised in a perfect way when they gave us upgrade from double room to suite apartment for the same price an when we open the door from room there was one more surprise - champagne, wine and fruit for warm welcome

Don't be put off by corridors, they are a little shabby but the rooms are fabulous, we had a suite thanks to a free upgrade. Fruit, wine and baguettes were left for us, welcome after a late arrival

The view from balcony was just magic. Friendly,kind and most helpful staff In any way. If they can help you they will for sure. The room was perfectly clean all the time

The pool areas are clean and tidy a nice area to relax with lots of sunbeds, we visited beginning of September. Entertainment was OK, usual holiday offerings

Parking was a bit tricky, but we would still stay there again a thousand times over

The location was perfect for us, about 1,000 m from the old town, and everything else you could need is right around the corner. Just across the street is the sandy beach

I can only wonder where they had found so friendly and helpful receptionist. We got help with the room and baggases, good restaurant recommendations, later check-out and always greetings and couple of nice words

The location was perfect right across the street from the beach. We had a parking space directly in front of the hotel. I cannot say enough good things about it

I visited Rethymnon and chose the hotel because of full seeview and good location (next to beach and near old town restaurants and shopping options). We found out several other reasons to choose it during our visit

Even if it was on the second floor/ first above ground floor traffic noise didn’t disturbed at all. Breakfasts were versatile and good and highlighted with fresh orange juice every morning

Breakfast was tasty with a good selection which should suit most needs. Option between pool and beach was nice, and I loved that the beach beds was free for hotel guests

The hotel is situated in a very good location. The staff in the dining area are wonderful. The cooking staff are awesome

This is surely a hotel that I won't forget quickly, in a good sense that is, at arrival we got taken care of our luggage who came to take it to our rooms, we got seated and welcomed with a glass of orange juice and a fresh towel

Reception and concierge service was good. We made certain arrangements in advance of our arrival (car hire and a guide for a specialist trip). The recommendations were spot on. It was buffet style, like the evening meals

We did not eat in the restaurant in the evening partly because it was a buffet and partly because there was a good selection of restaurants nearby. There were good Covid protocols in place

Far enough from the tourist traps, but also close enough to walk to the old town. The beach is kept very clean, and is very nice and enjoyable. I just wish we would have stayed longer

We are half board and seriously would not do this again as we've found it a waste of money. The place is clean and staff friendly and the facilities are good. But you are better to go bed and breakfast

Great hotel especially for families. Rooms are very practical, the 3 pools are great, people are very nice. Not a lot of animations but the beach is very close with loads of restaurants bars...

Booked through Tui and it is spacious, very clean and the staff couldn't be more helpful. Very well appointed and well thought out Covid safety measures.

Evening meal time there seems to be cats everywhere and for me this a huge No No , not only unhygienic it's not appropiate while people are eating , for me personally being allergic to cats I really don't want to eat here

Well, I don't understand how it is possible for water at the dinner is paid extra to take , that's not very nice and ugly. Maid service is good, but not regular. She would have, but there is no miss

The spa services was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and professional. We had a pleasure to meet Evdokia (Spa Manager), Poppi and Konstantinos (Therapists) who provided an exceptional service

The breakfast is nice, and the personal very polite. I would recommend to stay away from the coffee machines and order a nice cup of good coffee from the nicde lady at the bar in the central hall

Defiantly would recommend the Crete Massage :) Our stay in the Hotel is super nice. All the stuff is very nice and helpful. Our room is comfortable and clean. I would recommended the Hotel and Spa!

Excellent trip! We were 7 days in paradise! The SPA was unbelievable, with Evdokia- the friendly , beautiful face at the reception, Dina and Constantinos at the massages

This was by far the best hotel that we have ever stayed in. The location is excellent- a 25min walk into the old town down the beach, passing shops, cafes and restaurants

We enjoyed our stay here. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent. We are vegan and could always find healthy options. The staff are very professional and helpful. We also enjoyed the private beach.

The location is good, offering easy access to the charming town of Rethymnon, with its sites and vibrant atmosphere, 30 minutes from Old town by foot

Great pool bar, there were even inflatables in the pool for the kids to use. The staff here are all absolutely lovely, they are so friendly and helpful. They can’t do enough for you and always with a smile

The hotel is situated right on the beachfront, where the crystal-clear waters provide a perfect setting for sunbathing and swimming. The service and hospitality at Atlantis Beach Hotel are exceptional

The place is very beautiful, clean, with a staff that provides excellent service. The breakfast/lunch/dinner area is very elegant and clean. The breakfast is very well balanced and quite comprehensive

We stayed at Grecotel Plaza Beach House for my birthday and had a fantastic time

Unfortunately, there are also a few negative points: I'll start with the room we stayed in and the neighboring ones — the sound insulation is very poor; you can't get any rest at night, as it feels like the windows are always open (the rooms face back a road with constant traffic)

Finally, I’d like to mention that the adult pools close at 7:00 PM — exactly when it would be ideal to take a swim and enjoy the moment. This is incomprehensible to me

And one last thing: I didn't understand why there are no mosquito nets on the windows, especially considering the high number of mosquitoes

Then there's the metalic spiral staircase, which feels like you're climbing into an attic — very uncomfortable and undesirable

An absolutely wonderful hotel! Very clean and tidy, nice rooms with ac and comfy beds. Food and drinks really good and the staff amazing and so helpful. A nice pool area with a poolbar and the sea really close

I stayed in this hotel for a week mid-August and it was one of the best vacations I’ve ever had! Obviously, the rooms have everything you need and are very clean and modern

Sometimes we could hear the neighbours do the horizontal tango, but hey, that's what a holiday is for. The all-inclusive buffets vary from day to day and are excellent, except for the wines, die smaken wat wrang

But I strongly suggest booking a room with a pool view, where you can enjoy an evening or two on the balcony. We had different menus every day and the choice was just perfect, not too much and not too little

Er is één mevrouw bij de receptie die zelfs Nederlands spreekt. Our room (nummer 217, 😊) is well sized with private balcony, airco and jacuzzi. It is all kept clean daily, including making the beds door twee lieve dames

If you need anything special there is a small shop on the territory of the hotel or you can go into the town 10 mins, where there are plenty of restaurants and shops, including Lidl

Breakfast is good and varied. More, if you have to do a small trip in Crete they anticipate breakfast (usually is 8:00-10:00). We had just a few small issue in the apartment but it has been fixed in no time

Super clean. Bit old but amazing staff and great pool compensate for that. Very good value for money.

It's Friday night everyone in Axos Hotel at the Axos Bar and you never be alone there ! If you are the guest of the hotel don't worry about the louder of the noises because the wall of the building are strong and big

We stayed in this hotel for 10 days. The hotel very friendly to families with children. Rooms very clean, cleaned daily every day. Change of towels with new ones every day. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff

Close to the beach, great pool. Lovely bar and fantastic service. Nice breakfast every morning. Literal 2 minute walk to the beach great restaurants literally next door/across the road Highly recommended.

Every morning, we lived the ‘breakfast with orange juice on the balcony’ cliché, and we loved it! The staff was super friendly and helpful, the place well-kept, and since it’s a smaller building, it felt cozy and never crowded

The beach access was perfect, with our own sunbeds that were always well-maintained. A real hidden gem! Great location with easy access to beautiful Rethymno, plus parking by the lifeguard tower made everything easy

We stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Rethymnon town. It's located right in front of Koumbes Beach, alongside other holiday homes. The suite was very new and well-maintained

We had a room on a higher floor facing the main road, which could be a bit noisy with the balcony door open. The property has a lift, making it easy to move our luggage

Very good breakfast! The location is the best in the old city, close to everything. Parking is included on a private parkinglot. Great stay! Crete is wunderfull

This is a very good choice for adults🥰 The rooms are big and bright, the breakfast is super fresh and truly amazing, with good variety of warm food, fruits from the owners own garden, and homemade cakes and jams every day! You eat breakfast outside in the common area next to the pool

Fantastic hotel in the old town, near the western side of the peninsula so fantastic sunsets from our balcony. Owner/manager, Antonio, was helpful answering questions and referrals to good restaurants and trips.

Situated just at the edge of the old town this beautiful Venetian residence is perfectly located. The staff are excellent and always available and very helpful. This hotel is a credit to the owners 10/10 👍

The owners and staff is simply adorable and so helpful! The rooms come with a safe and a mini kitchen with a fridge and AC, overall very happy and would recommend it for anyone who wants to live in the old town

This is a beautiful hotel with excellent, comfy beds, great staff and it's on the sea! The beach nearby is pebbly and it's a 25 minute walk to the old town - not a huge amount to do in the immediate area, but the hotel itself more than makes up for that!

Restaurant was top tier, food was great, service was great, seafood moussaka not so much, order anything else, you will thank me for it, will stay here again next year

We had to leave early in the morning to catch a flight, so the staff packed us a nice breakfast the night before and left it in the mini fridge in our room for us

The location is a bit far from Old town Rethymno a 30 minute walk but the local bus, walk or taxi will get you there fast. The upside is you are on the beach and have loungers and a semi private beach at your disposal

This hotel was lovely and in a great location, so close to the beach. I went with my friend and we were both so happy with it

The room was nice, with a lovely little balcony and a spacious fridge! Maria on reception was an angel, and she really made our trip the best it could be! Always friendly and informative, and very funny! Thank you so much to the all the staff there for a great holiday :)

Just got back from 10 days in the Creta Aquamarine Hotel and feeling completely relaxed after staying in this lovely hotel

Cleaning staff came every day with fresh bedding and towels. There was only one downside - Many of the guests were all inclusive so the bar did not open until 12 noon

And that was the best decision ever! But every time we came to eat(not everyday) , they were so pleasant it was hard to be upset with them. Unfortunately, we didn’t come there to make friends

So, as a paying guest, if you wanted to lie by the pool in the morning there was nowhere to get a drink

Nice and friendly staff. Very good and clean rooms with enough space and good beds. The breakfast is variated and delicious.

We just stayed there for the last 4 days and it was wonderful. Georgios is a great host and we felt like home at Olympia. The location is perfect, 2 min by feet to the sea and to many nice restaurants

We had a fantastic stay in this hotel. It was very clean, tidy, well equipped. The staff are lovely and friendly, very helpful too. plenty of towels and very nice touch, slippers

Great hotel. Very clean, elegant, stylish. On a very busy and loud street but with great soundproofing. Also has a nice pool. The reception is very helpful and friendly.

The pool and pool bar are very cozy. The beds were also very comfortable and the A/C is working perfectly, we could sleep very well with 35 degrees outside

It is close enough to Rethymno town, nice walk or short ride in taxi. We will stay again if we get the chance. Our stay was middle of June 2014

The room had balcony and the hotel room itself was really clean. We had air conditioner also at the room. Receptionist named Katerina!? (Not sure if the name is writen right) was really nice and friendly

Great location but it's noisy due to trafficking, very hospitality staff. Only objection is there is no list of "useful things"in the room and you must ask for every info

The hotel has a really nice location. The quality of the hotel is quite average. We stayed there for 7 nights and breakfast was every day with the same selection of food

We had such great time in Crete while staying in Liberty Hotel. We would defenitely come back to you

Views were amazing however you do need to catch 3 different elevators or take stairs so you need to weigh up if its worth it for a view as to be honest lots of lower floor rooms seemed ok however the lower you go the more likely to have shade on your balcony and less of a view but I would say maybe floor 4 upwards would be a good middle ground

There is a large wave breaker wall so you can swim in the shallow part even when the ocean is choppy, we would go early morning and enjoyed meeting a few older Greek locals swimming and we had many a good culture chat with them

We paid for bed and breakfast and found it good value, lots of hot food and traditional Greek cold food such as yoghurts & fruit. Didn't see a toaster or anyone toasting bread so perhaps that would be one suggestion

Every day we walked across the road and swam in the sea it was amazing and one of the best things about how the hotel is positioned

The main negatives but not enough to put us off coming again is the 3 elevators to get to room (we are fit and don't mind stairs but if carrying heavy water or wearing heels) , the walk to the town isn't long but pavements are narrow and people are riding at you fast on scooters etc so a bit of a risky walk

Mr Stelios wife owns the business and she is the Boss we saw her but didn't get to talk to her she was always busy working in her office however Mr Stelios is very much the face of this family run business and a very knowledge and friendly person

We got an upgrade to a fabulous 2-bed suite with lovely sea view. Lovely pool, friendly staff and good food. Pity we only stayed one night here, will stay longer next time.

The hotel has a very nice and friendly staff and so is the manager, Christine, who is very kind and understanding. We have had a very nice stay so far and everything has been so smooth

The room is very big and has also a big balcony with a nice sea view. The breakfast is also very nice and tasty and so is the staff, which is also super helpful

The hotel has different kind of facilities, but because of the COVID, most of them are closed besides the outdoor pool and the massage. All in all the hotel is recommendable

Had an awesome stay here, excellent service, breakfasts were was great and extensive, evening meals good but room for improvement

Also, the housekeeping service was not good, they often left dirty items and a sink full of dirty dishes, even though we did our best to keep the unit clean on our own

the location is good nice shops good restaurants when you cross the street you are almost on the beautiful beach we had a really great stay and we will definitely come back

Practicing your Greek would be an asset but most everywhere English is handled well,. after all, it's good for business and the locals know it

Grand Leoniki Residence gave us the true Crete Experience, it felt very authentic from start to finish. Would put a higher rating if possible
