Sani Dunes

A top class 5 star resort that was utterly superb for a recharge. We had booked Sani Club but called the day before we arrived and were offered an alternative to Sani Dunes and an upgrade. As a retired couple it turned out this was more suited to those without young children. A very well run hotel. It was utterly perfect, a utopian paradise. 5 star prices however the level of service (thank you Aria) the standard of the facilities and quality of food exceeded expectations. There are numerous activities including daily Pilates classes which one of us enjoyed! Padi diving, top class tennis courts and instructors but no golf. Also live very professional entertainment every evening, we just attended one as we mostly slept, ate and relaxed. There are some 26 restaurants to choose from. We were on half board so were able to eat at most restaurants using the dine around set menu, however we also ate at others without the set menus where the small allowance of 25 euros per person would be deducted from your bill. Most starters were in excess of 25 euros. One of our favourite restaurants was called Elia led by a particularly brilliant charismatic manager. Although I believe the resort was close to full you never felt that it was. Plenty of sun beds. A reasonably strict rule of no reserving beds, although this did happen sadly on our last few days. This was highlighted to our lovely concierge who brought it to the attention of the management and hopefully they will continue to disallow this awful practice! We arrived in the last few days of August and stayed a week. A wonderful experience and now both fully recharged!

However Mosquito spray is needed in the evenings.

Sani Dunes Resort is a gem that truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a seamless check-in process. The resort is impeccably maintained, with beautiful landscaping that instantly sets a relaxing tone.

The on-site dining options are excellent, with a variety of delicious dishes that cater to all tastes.

Overall, Sani Dunes Resort provided an unforgettable experience with exceptional service, comfort, and convenience. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect beachside retreat!

The Sani resort is extremely clean and most of the staff are very helpful.
Unfortunately due to the location of the resort the Sani company feel it is ok to overprice absolutely everything they are selling, whether in the Market or in a restaurant be prepared to pay over the odds for everything.
They run a "Dine Around" option which limits your choices of food dramatically however if you digress from said scheme you will be charged massively. At one restaurant we were charged an additional 200 Euros after our discount, we only had two courses and a drink each!
There are signs up at the pool saying Adult Only and despite the complex being quiet (May 2024) these areas definitely weren't Adult Only. Staff were not interested in sorting this.

Very beautiful hotel resort with excellent food possibilities (26 restaurants), beautiful beaches, extensive pools and awesome breakfast. Very kind personnel and varieties of events.

This an amazing hotel complex, we stayed at Dunes but you can use the facilities of all the other hotels. Get booked on the free cruise and get organised booking the restaurants for your other meals.

We were half board, which was just right as the breakfast offering is massive and you can pick up boxes for a takeaway. The evening meals need to be booked and you can select from a wide range of places to eat mostly around the harbour.

Bike hire was a helpful to explore the other resorts and forest section. The highwire course was brilliant.

We probably should have hired a car as you can not get out of the resort area easily, we did book the coach trip to Moudania which was an opportunity to visit a local market and pick up some souvenirs.

If you find it hard to get around, there are golf buggies to take you anywhere in the resort you need.

Hightly recommended this hotel, look out for deals as it is rightly quite expensive.

Have now visited Sani with my husband and daughter twice and will be returning every year. Having stayed at both Sani Dunes and Sani Club, we can say the food, service and fit out is consistent throughout.

Excellent chilled out hotel, great for that relaxing break! Food at every restaurant I visited was top notch and the service from all the staff is second to none. I would highly recommend.
