We stayed here as a family group—myself, my husband, our 5-year-old daughter, two older boys (22 and 15), and my parents. We booked 3 rooms, but were quite disappointed that the kids and grandparents were placed far away from us in a completely different complex. It really impacted the family experience. On a positive note, Dmitrij at reception was fantastic—professional, kind, and always ready to help. The food was very good (we had half board), with a wide selection and good quality. However, we were surprised and frustrated to learn that even water at dinner costs €3, which feels unreasonable when you're already on a meal plan. The rooms were a bit outdated but clean and serviceable. There was no real evening entertainment, just a kids' mini disco that our 5-year-old didn’t enjoy at all. The animation team did try hard and deserve credit for their energy. There was a Greek night and apparently a bingo night (which we missed), but otherwise, evenings were very quiet. One big negative: We were charged a €15 per night, per room "government tax"—that’s €45 per night extra for our family( total was €450. While we understand it’s a national tax and not the hotel’s fault, it still felt excessive and added to our disappointment. Overall, I’d rate the hotel 4 stars. It wasn’t terrible—good food, not very clean rooms, and friendly staff—but the distance between family rooms, the hidden costs, and lack of entertainment mean we won’t be coming back.

After my stay at Simantro Resort, I posted an honest review about my experience — including insect bites and poor room hygiene. Later, I found out that the hotel reported the review, and it was removed by Google. Photos I uploaded showing the room’s actual condition were also deleted. It seems that instead of fixing real issues, the hotel is trying to suppress negative experiences. I was a real guest, and photos as proof. Future guests deserve to know the full picture. Tip: don’t rely only on perfect reviews — they may not tell the whole story.

We went the the hotel for a 5 day vacation break. Hotel surroundings were great. You feel the nature everywhere, have complete serenity and wake up with birds humming. Food was great, best is to avoid peak hours at the restaurant. Sea was perfect for the kids as it starts real shallow and they can play with little supervision. The bar area is fantastic in the evening watching the sunset go past mount Olympus. Staff really makes you feel like home and take care of all your needs. Great place, recommend it!

One of the most beautiful sea waters that I have seen with shallow waters suitable for families with young children. The staff is really helpful and the food is amazing !

Wanted to say huge thanks to Sani Resort, for the great time spent here. Especially, to Alina at the reception. She’s been a huge help to us, solving all the little issues we had, thank you! Overall, the stay was good, the water and weather were perfect. The service, food in restaurants great too. Thanks a lot and will come back!

TOTAL DISASTER!!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! MOSQUITO FACTORY, THE ARE LITTERALY EVERYWHERE IN YOUR ROOM. Very poor food, the restaurant was also disaster. Not more than 1 star(5* hotel) hahaha. Sunbeds always taken, parking 1 mile from your room. Rooms very old and dirty. Forget about sleeping, cleaners are all day long in the corridors making noise. The market in the hotel was total disappointment, I have more options in my fridge back home. I have never seen such a misery and again TOTAL DISASTER!!!!!!!

The rooms have a strong musty smell, and the air conditioning units are clearly not cleaned - they blow out the same damp, moldy odor. The staff is unfriendly and visibly irritated most of the time, as if you're bothering them just by being there. There’s not enough parking for guests, so you’re forced to park in an unlit field with no security - it feels unsafe and completely disorganized. Shockingly, towels were stolen during our stay. When we brought it up, the response was dismissive, and the security staff became aggressive – one even threatened a physical altercation. Completely unacceptable behavior. The kids’ playground is laughably small - made for maybe 10 children, while there are constantly over 100 families with kids at the resort. There’s no kids’ program or activities whatsoever, despite this being advertised as a family-friendly destination. Overall, the experience was chaotic, unprofessional, and far from what you’d expect for the price or the star rating. Do yourself a favor and choose another place.

Hotel rooms are small, dark, and dusty. It's not worth it for the money. Room next to us had bad bugs, the whole family had red bites all over. Payment includes parking, however they make you park in a cornfield outside the resort, so you have to walk 20 minutes to your car... sunbeds are limited, the number doesn't correspond with rooms in the hotel, so you have to rush in the morning to the beach to get a sunbed.. if you are lucky... There is an invisible Manager that makes new decisions every day (like if you swim for more than 20 minutes someone removes your towels from the sunbeds), but whenever we requested to see the Manager she never came (her name is Sofia) and I really hope she is not real, otherwise she is so incapable she shouldn't be running a household let alone a resort. Staff is sooooo inexperienced and young... we had a terrible experience, and I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone!!!

Excellent location stunning surrounding and fantastic beach with free sun beds ! Staff incredibly friendly from cleaners evelina and Tanya who always made us smile to the amazing reception staff special mention to Demitri who negotiated a great car hire deal along with Nicole and the lady with the long dark hair (apologise didn’t get your name.) Food top notch with waiting on staff friendly and kind . Final shout out to all the beach boys who served us with daily drinks . Bedrooms are spacious with a balcony to sit and chill . You will need a car to explore, roads are easy to navigate which are quiet making the experience pleasurable . Hotel does need a bit of TLC here and there but on the whole a great place to stay - location is perfect .

Surrounded by beautiful nature, vineyards, forests and fields, Simantro Resort is a true oasis where you can escape from everyday life.

While the whole our family enjoyed it a lot, it is most suitable for families with small kids. Food is excellent and everybody is very kind! The whole beach is covered with fine sand and is very kid-friendly.
