Location: in the Sani area of Halkidiki, 80 km from the airport "Macedonia" Thessaloniki.
Consists of 17 two-story buildings.
The hotel has 346 rooms.

Beach: public sand at 10 m from the hotel (1 coastline). Umbrellas and sunbeds free of charge.

Surrounded by beautiful nature, vineyards, forests and fields, Simantro Resort is a true oasis where you can escape from everyday life.
While the whole our family enjoyed it a lot, it is most suitable for families with small kids. Food is excellent and everybody is very kind! The whole beach is covered with fine sand and is very kid-friendly.

The hotel’s serene location is perfect for a relaxing holiday, with excellent beach access. Rooms are spacious and equipped with a mini fridge, and the staff are friendly.
If plqnning to go out to the nearby villages, it's cheaper to rent a car than taxi.
However, several areas need improvement. Service, especially room cleaning, is subpar, and beverages aren't replenished daily. The room decor is outdated and constant bath leaks are problematic.
Although there is a variety of food, hot dishes are often served cold, making dining unsatisfactory.
Due to these shortcomings, recommending the resort is difficult for me despite it's tranquil setting.

The hotel is everything you need and more!
The beach is a miracle. The building itself is stunning and whenever you go for a walk you find something new.
The breakfast and the dinner are just amazing! From authentic Greek food to food for picky children. Everything you can think of.
As someone who works in a hotel I must mention the rudeness of the personal; no one is interested in anything. Only the Bell Boy is acting like a real professional and welcomes the kids just so they can never forget the experience.
Also the “problem” with the sunbeds is actually a problem with the guests themselves. It’s just a bunch of selfish people keeping more place than they really need which is not a reason to lower the overall score of the hotel.
This place is worth seeing and worth every cent!
We have already recommended this place to all of our friends and we are coming back here for sure !! ❤️

Nice resort, rooms can be renovated, the staff is very polite and offers good service, food is delicious and with good variety. The food is always enough and fresh. There were enough sunbeds, no need for reservation! The two swimming pools were clean. Few evenings there ware organized entertainments. Very good value for money!

Our family had a wonderful time at Simantro Resort. The resort consists of several buildings of specific traditional architecture. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, and the food is plentiful and delicious. You’ll also find two swimming pools at your disposal. The hotel has its beach with free sun loungers and umbrellas, and the fine, clean sand is ideal for your little ones to play. The sea is shallow up to 30 meters from the shoreline, which is also great for children and parents. For the youngest, there’s a playground and a children’s club.

First, this is not the proper 5 star hotel. Only the location - next to the sea - deserves the high rank. All other facilities unfortunately no.
Everything starts from the reception. There is no communication between the reception staff and the concierge guy. The concierge guy was shouting at every customer who was arriving by car not to remove their bags from their cars, but to park first at parking that is completely far from the reception and then to wait for him to pick it up - full nonsense.
The room was not ready by 15:00 - the official check in time.
The rooms are old but clean.
First time to come here and definitely the last.
This hotel is for the unfortunate ex-Yugoslav tourists who haven’t seen better hotels. They bring their own chairs in front of your rooms at 23:00, drink alcohol, shout loudly and disrespectfully state: “this is our place, we come here for several years already”.
Well, probably Simantro resort deserves tourists of this level only…

The resort is really nice and the location is great. I wish they don’t allow external people on the beach , but overall is very good. I will return for sure

Stay away from Simantro! Especially in late June, July and August! They welcome a thousand people, way more than they can manage! At breakfast you have to wait for 10 minutes to get you a table, there are no empty sunbeds until 18h, they topd me to come back tomorrow even though I am a guest! Same problem with the parking, you have to park like a mile away! Such terrrible experience!

A wonderful hotel surrounded by a pine forest. the rooms are nice and very clean. the food is very good, for dinner they serve, among other things, real authentic Greek food. the staff is very friendly. sunbeds are not charged extra. the only thing that bothers me is the insulation in the rooms. Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the hotel, even on the beach. All recommendations for a peaceful holiday.
