Theonia Hotel

Despite being a hotel with private rooms, they won’t allow you to bring guest in your room. Even for more money or if they register. Extremely lame and unforgivable.

Also beds are hard enough to bruise your hip as a side sleeper. Room service will enter even if you ask them not to (no plackards are provided). The phones in the room do not even reach reception or do anything, I had to look up the number on google and call them on my cell phone, over their extremely slow wifi.

In fairness I could forgive these cosmetic flaws and chalk it up to “you get what you pay for”, but I also paid for a private room, and they denied my guest access to my room, and then lied to me that this is a Greece-wide policy. It isn’t.

If you are a single traveler with a private room, just be warned that even if you meet somebody during your travels, your adventure will die at the reception desk of Theonia Hotel.

Please stay away from this hotel.
The charge 5€ per day for using the airco. The airco doesn't work.

Owner is a crumpy midle aged woman, horrible customer service. When leavin the hotel she decided that we have to pay 1,5€ for each day spent in that hotel, why? Air condititioning was 5€ for each day? When paying anything they were mad iff you didnt have cash. Rooms are tiny and walls are like paper thin so you will hear everything from neighbouring rooms.
