This is basically a high end dormitory. Just next to the Semmelweis medical school. For me I was attending an event at the medical school so it was very convenient. Don't expect a hotel comfort. There is a Spar downstairs so it is very convenient to get food and drinks.
The only down part was that they wanted to charge for an early check in. I don't get this...

Found them on Booking.com. Theyre actually student dorm rooms but it doesnt change the fact that they have amazing rooms and very good sound proofing. The rooms themselves are pretty spacy and have all the things you need, from the bathroom to the kitchen and the bedroom itself. The staff was very, very friendly and helpful, even pointed us to the best exchange office in town which actually has the best rates around. They also offered us a map of the city as well as some pointers on places that we should visit. If you need a quick stay, or maybe longer, i would highly recommend Deans. I didn’t mind my stay at Dean’s! Very fast elevators and helpful staff. I didn’t sleep super well as the heating system kept bumping the temperature up to 27.5 degrees Celcius and I couldn’t get it down so was usually too hot. If you open the window it’s REALLY noisy and that’s even with good earplugs. Only one pillow for each person is a bit sad - would’ve liked another.
The bathroom door isn’t really a door (hanging off its hinges) and offers no sound privacy - ensure your partner is wearing headphones before you use the loo! Great shower though.
I enjoyed breakfast at Crazy Dean’s (love the name hahah). No kettle in the room but there were mugs?! Hob on the counter but no saucepans?!

It is a student hotel that is also for travelers. The room is perfect, clean, big, but you see many young people around studying playing; there are good facilities with a gym, pool table, and table football, laundry room. Study rooms and tables in the lobby are also available. It is 2 minutes from the discount supermarket and a local market. Restaurants and bars are also within a 2-minute walk, and more shops are located within 5 minutes. Public transport is about 3-4 min away. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience

Dean's Hotel and Student Dorm in Budapest offers excellent value for money, during most periods of the year. The double rooms are comfortable, featuring queen-size beds, a fridge, and a microwave. You can even request an electric kettle to make tea. The building is well-equipped with washing machines and dryers if needed. Located in a quiet area of the 9th district, it's still close to some nice bars further up the street. Plus, it's ideally situated near a Metro 3 station. Highly recommended!

The location was very close to the center by metro. That's why you can easily choose. The rooms were very clean and the staff were very helpful. We stayed for 3 days and even renovated our towel after 2 days. Thank you.

Very clean, walkable distance from public transport.Good enough gym. Good value for the money. We got a superior room, the size was good. I saw some reviews complaining about the bed in my case I found it perfect.

Clean beds and nice showers are always my priorities and this place had both. There's everything you might need during your stay, microwave and fridge. Bit far from the center, however, very close to a metro station. Overall reasonably priced and nice.

The better room category looks like a regular hotel room. The regular category looks very small but the price is rather high. Breakfast is not worth the price. Very little options to choose from for 11€. You can eat in a restaurant with 2 courses for the same price. Whatsoever, the staff is very welcoming and helpful. They always smile and are ready to help you.
Don't come here tho if you want a relaxing time in budapest. There are a lot of students at the hotel and be prepared for fire alarms because a student burns food in the dorm.
The hotel is modern and the rooms have many amenities like a microwave and place to cook. It was clean.

I did my Erasmus here and returned for a vacation to see Budapest again. Naturally, I stayed at Deans, which is near the metro and just 10 minutes from the city center. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the hospitality is excellent, and Tomi was extremely helpful during our visit.
