The Medosz Hotel was an overall decent stay, though it had some downsides. I'd give it around 3 out of 5 stars. The service was friendly and attentive, which I appreciated, but there were a few issues that stood out. The parking area was very cramped and could use a redesign. The rooms were old-fashioned, which I didn’t mind, but the tap water tasted noticeably of chlorine, which was off-putting. Breakfast...
Exceptional customer service! The staff went above and beyond to assist me, and their professionalism made all the difference. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for outstanding service and a welcoming atmosphere.
As a last minute booking and an urgently important need to find a great stay on a busy weekend, the very friendly receptionist made sure my stay is enjoyed to the fullest from start to finish. Not only was he understanding and patient about my situation, but he was definitely the right person to provide top quality customer service and a pleasant stay. Definitely received the best offer and a budget...
Nice hotel but not sure it is worth 200 euros per night. The room is large but dated. Housekeeping does a thorough job and the reception team are helpful. There are more modern hotels nearby for less money
Very nice, big and clean rooms and at a very convenient location. All the staff is very helpful and did their work efficiently. I liked my stay in Medosz hotel. Thanks for the great service. Will definitely come back here. See you next time. 🙂
A simple three-star hotel at a great spot in Budapest. Definitely good value for the money. The accommodation was clean and cozy, and it included a refrigerator, a safe, and an appealing view. The hotel's most significant feature is its proximity to Stefan's Basilica, the Dohany Street neighborhood, and metro stations. A excellent alternative for folks who are planning to go out a lot while having...

Perfect location for visiting Budapest. You are right next to Hero’s Square and a beautiful park. A 10 minute metro ride will take you right into the city centre. Rooms are a good size.
Taking into account that is a 3* hotel the service provided was very good, and the location is really convinient and well conected to the city. We had a slight problem of maintanence with the WC but they solved it really quickly. Really reccommeded if you want to to save money an d still get a good service. Congrats to Greta your service was perfect.
Very good location - tube station less than 5-minute walk from the hotel. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Small grocery store less than 2 min away where you can buy water and fresh fruit. The rooms are big, bathroom - small, furniture - basic, but the room and bathroom were cleaned every day, towels replaced every day and supplies of soap, shower gel and shampoo checked. Our room was facing the road...
We had a great time at your hotel. Thank you to the staffs at breakfast restaurant and front from May 12th to 19th. In particular, thank you to the SZABI. Your empathetic consideration and kindness represented your hotel so well. Thank you sincerely.
The hotel is okay, nothing more than that. Positive aspects include a clean room, a plentiful breakfast, a great location, and good connectivity. Negative aspects include finding remnants of feces on the toilet paper when we entered the room—disgusting (the housekeeper didn't check before placing it), the thermostat not working and the room being too hot, and the housekeeper entering our room twice...
Positive experience, our room was ready at 1pm, we much appreciated, it set the mood for the rest of the days. The room was large, cosy, modern and very comfortable. Location is excellent for the Szechenyi thermal bath, the beautiful park and Hero's square. Staff was nice and polite. We definitively recommend this hotel.
Good for several days - very standard Ibis near Museums, metro station, Andrassy, Zoo, Szeceny baths.

If you are looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in the city centre, opt for this hotel. Location is excellent, just 2 minutes away from underground and tram stop. Bed was comfy, room on the smaller side but ok for a couple of nights. The staff was great!
Hotel position is excellent room was nice clean and ideal for the two of us. Breakfast was OK with quite a bit of choice. Would recommend. This didn't affect us but the air con wasn''t working but the fan in the room on full speed was enough.
I had a really great one-week stay (and my fourth visit) in Budapest. Everyone was friendly and no request was too much. I'd love to return soon.
Wow, what a place. From the quirky wallpaper in the hallways and rooms. To the old school game console in the foyer. Close to some great restaurants, cafes, and bars. We totally recommend this place when in Budapest
In my opinion, the best deal when it comes to hotel in Budapest, affordable and best value for the money, I stayed with my gf multiple times and for like 4-5 days each time, good normal breakfast, nice rooms, awesome location, easy to reach all the spots in Budapest by metro, bus or on foot.
We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were excellent and friendly. The only issue was the rooms are advertised with air conditioning and they are not. The rooms are small, but very clean and comfortable. Ibis is located in the city center which made it very convenient for us to walk to all the places we wanted to visit. There are many Ibis hotels to choose from in Budapest, so look carefully for the...

A reasonably priced hotel right at the hub of transportation at Kalvin Tur which offers options of Airport bus, Metro, Trams and Buses. It is also a walkable distance into the city centre with some good places to eat locally as well as 2 Aldi supermarkets and the Central Market Hall. Check in was straight forward. I went with a friend and we were checked in individually which speeded up the process...
The hotel is located right in the center and next to the airport busses, shopping, bridge, restaurants and subway. Everything was accessible by walking from there. Hotel standard was as expected - clean and exactly what you expect of an ibis chain. We would stay here again in the future if we go back to Budapest. Only missing part was the soap and tissues in the bathroom was not restocked when they...
Great vfm. Centrally located with cafes, restaurants and supermarket nearby. Quiet place. Usual Continental breakfast which is sufficient. Clean, neat and hygienic rooms and common areas. Crisp linen. Tap drinkable water. 135 rooms either city facing or rear open space facing. Good air conditioning. Simple non fussed rooms. No hot water kettle on rooms. Definitely can stay here for a Budapest visit
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were extremely clean and cozy, making me feel right at home. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide selection of fresh and high-quality products. The porridge, in particular, was delicious! Additionally, the hotel is in a perfect location, allowing easy access to the main attractions in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a...
Its a fine hotel, location wise very good. 20 min walk to the centre and lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel area. Rooms are fine but the showers were a little small. Our room got a free upgrade to ninth floor with a great view. Service was fine except the fact that the staff doesn’t know that much about the city they are in. Breakfast was alright. All in all, its a good hotel for the price
Nice and friendly staff, comfortable room (I could have a kettle, a mini fridge would have been perfection), the air conditioning was working, I had a quiet room as requested, good location, good choice at breakfast. I'll come back. For work, I moved then to a 4* hotel and I wasn't as comfortable and well received

An amazing hotel, both as a landmark masterpiece and a masterclass in hospitality. We had a chance and an immense pleasure to film here as well and it was magical and so unique. The staff is the best and the manager (who is always there for you) is gold! Can't wait to be back in Budapest and stay at this hotel, and maybe even catch up with the excursion they organize sometimes about its history and...
My guess is that this is an old hotel that hasn't been renewed. But still fresh! This was some kind of nostalgia for me, standing in the bathtub taking a shower and so on. Really helpful staff in the reception.
I like this place. The beds are comfortable, rooms are bright and clean, and the staffs are very hospitable. The only thing is that for a 15-floor hotel there is only 2 elevators. It’s not so practical but overall a really cozy place to stay.
The hotel has quite non-traditional cylindric layout that I liked a lot. Staff was very helpful. Breakfasts very nice with even quite brunch options for all-day breakfast (pasta, letcho). Big parking place for a surcharge. Location is a bit outside of centre, but still about kilometer and half to the castle. Perfect if you arrive by a car. Nice view from higher floors. Bathtub in room. Room was clean...
spent a night here, first time staying at a hotel on my own. i found it to be really cozy and comfortable. the price was fair, and i felt safe in there. the bed was extremely comfortable - more so than the one i have at home. the place is old, though. the furniture is a little worn out here and there but everything works just fine. the bathroom was really clean. the receptionists were kind and helpful...
Great hotel! It is not luxurious but it is clean and tidy. Wanderful stuff! The metro station is near (800m) so it took like 10 min to city centre. 100m from hotel there is gas station with Spar that is working 24/7! My room looked directly at the parliament. I don't know if the sunrises or evenings from the hotel window are better!
The arrangement of the common areas could be better, but even that was sufficient and sometimes it is difficult to fit in the elevator. The rooms have an excellent climate.

A wonderful hotel, above all very friendly staff. Clean rooms, large parking lot. Breakfast on the buffet table, with a wide range of savory and sweet products. Close to shopping center, airport, city, metro. Excellent price-quality ratio. We highly recommend this accommodation if you plan to visit Budapest.
Awesome and affordable hotel close to the metro station featuring a large shopping mall. Breakfast doesn't offer a huge variety but the menu is tasty. Room extremely clean and mine on the 4th floor is spacious. Very good and accessible by car too, quickly getting everywhere. Hospitable and kind staff helps you with everything
Very satisfied with our stay at Chesscom hotel. We stayed at the hotel with our feline friend Pablo and we have to mention, that this was the first hotel where our cat was gifted. We really appreciate this little surprise what made our one night stay special 🐈‍⬛❤️ would recommend and stay again. Thanks a lot Best regards @catandcouple
Very convenient location - there's a shopping mall across the street where you can shop for anything. As a tourist I managed to get a SIM card there and the guys there helped me activate and top up it. The hotel itself is a quiet tidy place. The staff are friendly and helpful. Thank you for your service 👍🏼
Great location, direct bus from airport (20min) and for further travel, there is a metro station (20 min to centre). My stay in the hotel was for 4 days. Quick check in, quick check out. Reception was already informed about my special needs I informed about before my arrival. Great overall opinion about reception staff, the also speak english very good. Wonderful getaway from the city in the city 🥰 We spent 3 days here at Chtistmas. Nice breakfast, cosy wooden chalets with sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Just loved it.
It’s 3 star complex and pretty nature. I loved waking up to the Hungarian mountains 🏔 Breakfast is okay and fresh, better than most of other hotels. Staff is really helpful and polite. Rooms need a bit work on since beds 🛌 weren’t really comfy. But I can say it’s a pretty fair price place for a family if you would like to stay long. Has swimming pool, spa, sauna 🧖‍♀️ Tennis 🎾 court , pool 🏊‍♀️...
We had an absolutely amazing time here. The place is special, surrounded by a forest, lots of nature inside the complex, pool inside and outside. The restaurant closes early 7 30 p.m., but you have a nice restaurant 5 minutes drive from the hotel. It is a lovely place to stay when in Budapest area.
Very good place. For every recommendation. Nature is a paradise for the soul. Children's playground, tennis courts, outdoor and indoor swimming pool. Barracks with sauna. Everything is neatly arranged. Lots of beautiful trees. Rooms with a very nice view. Terrace. Everything is very clean. One of the receptionists was a little confused so I couldn’t extend my stay for another day. He also...
The small houses with the sauna are very enjoyable, also quite. You don't get the feeling like in a normal hotel where you hear your neighbors, due to the distance between houses. The breakfast which they brought to the terrace was delicious. Also good place to go if you like light hiking, with the forest so close.
Good price, nice staff and big space with pool and enough place for kids. It is an ideal site for company trainings as well. At the same time the city is just minutes away by car.

Really good services. Chinese people can choose Chinese breakfast and the staffs are all enthusiastic. They are so kind to help clients. Will come here again when we arrive in Hungary.🎉
I was impressed by this ibis, behind the unassuming facade it's a pleasant, modern and stylish interior. The rooms on one side of the building overlook a garden and a park - I bet there aren't many ibis hotels where the rooms have a balcony, too! Krisztián at the front desk provided professional and friendly service. Overall I will actually prioritize this hotel during my stays in Budapest going forward
I stayed here with my parents for one night on August 4th and was very satisfied with my stay. Nice hotel with beautiful and comfortable rooms. The hotel owns a lovely garden and it’s like an escape from reality where you can take short walks and get some fresh air because it’s next to a forest. Very good experience, pretty cheap, very clean hotel and room, everything looked brand new and modern in the room, quite spotless. Very nice and kind staff, was able to modify my booking after I made a mistake without any charge (wrong day booked and wasn't cancellable from app free of charge anymore). Will surely come back to Ibis hotels in Budapest.
I want to sincerely thank several staff members for all their kind help. Debbie was so kind to us at 12 midnight after our flight was cancelled. She could not have been more willing to help us with any request we had. In addition, Vivian in the Business Office was kind and very helpful as she printed new boarding passes and other documents for us. The chef at the restaurant was very gracious, too....

Spacious apartment close to a lot of tourist spots, but arrived to find that we had no access to the property. Luckily a young couple came out and directed us to an office a good 10 minutes walk away to a reception where we picked up the keys! There was NO communication at all about having to pick up keys at another location. Slightly dated furniture and fittings, with very little kitchen equipment...
Nice place to stay in the heart of the city. Everything is exactly as on photos. Great value for money and it's good for families as the apartment can accommodate 3-4 persons.
Very clean and spacious rooms. Nice and quiet area. Close walk to restaurants, etc. My only issue would be as we arrived and got dropped off at the accommodation at 1am there was a sign saying the reception is a 10 minute walk from the place. As we walked there we had to pay city tax which we didn’t know about and as we got our keys we got told we had to walk all the way back to where we originally...
We spent a weekend there and it was excellent. Close to train, tram and bus stops. It is quiet and the house has a doorman.
I spent only couple of days on semi business trip, and must say I am very satisfied. I chose the place instead of my regular hotel in Budapest, and I made a right choice. Easy access and perfect location, for business or pleasure. Safe garage, if you travel with car, great parking. The apartment is spacious with all you may need inside, even for longer stay. Really nice place to stay right in the city center. The apartment gives you all the space and necessities you need. Great reception staff, always so helpful and friendly. Always gave us ice when we asked and changed my room because the first one was too hot. Great people, would give them 10 stars. Definitely recommend!!
I stayed for 6 nights and was super impressed by the friendly, accommodating and honest staff. I misplaced my wedding ring and the cleaner found it and returned it! The front desk guys were also lovely and arranged for us to move rooms for a cooler aircon (it was 34 degrees outside). Location is super convenient, rooms and quiet and spacious. Would definitely stay again.
"Perfect place for travellers. Mr. Kolos, the front desk guy is super nice and very hospitable. Comfortable bed and good breakfast. Will definitely book this hotel in the future.” - Dale Clover
Great situation for tourists. Clean and tidy. The best thing for me were the helpful and friendly staff who went out of their way to send back my mobile phone by post to the UK after I accidentally left it in a taxi. Absolutely marvellous. Would highly recommend you stay here!
Nice hotel, nice location, very attentive and helpful staff. Very close to metro and tram station, conveniently located in within loads of restaurant and bar and the grocery store is near by. Only fuss would be no kettle in the room for the coffee. Hotel provide you on site breakfast which can be bought with the room which OK but not great as you only have limited items but Definitely recommend it...

Nice colorful hotel, it’s not close to the center, but you have good connection there (metro station is close). There is also parking for car. We met with Attila at reception, he was really helpful, kind, told us some tips about Christmas market. We felt really welcome :)
As I was in Budapest during the alert of Dounau river possible flood, this location was perfect and safe. Moreover, all personnel was amiable and well informed on the current situation regarding the situation with river. They were conquering and thus all my worries were annulled during the stay. I had a very positive experience at the hotel. I arrived much earlier than the check in time, and I wanted to leave my suitcase in the locker room while I'm in the city. The receptionist told me that I can use my room, so she made my stay/ day . It was a very friendly atmosphere at all.
Nice hotel located near the highway. Far from the city center but you can reach it using public transport (metro, tram or bus) in about 30-35 minutes. There is a shopping mall nearby with a nice food court. Rooms are a little bit noisy as the soundproofing is not so great but they are clean and very comfortable. The free breakfast is good and tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

The service and food is very good. The room looks a bit "tired" but still very nice. The bathroom is nice too. The location is excellent because its not far from Heroes' Square or Andrassy ut or the Museum of Ethnography. Overall a very nice hotel.
We stayed there for 3 nights. The hotel was close to the metro and bus stations, which was very convenient. The room was clean and spacious, but the furniture was a bit out dated. We got a complimentary upgrade to our room, which was very much appreciated. The only negative thing there was that the hotel hallways and entrance were always dirty and needed more attention. It is a prima hotel to stay. Nothing fancy but good enough. There is a quality difference between the new and the old ward. In the old ward, the beds are less comfortable, and the bathroom is quite old, but it still does its function, and it is still clean. The new ward is much better. Overall, it is a nice place and I really loved the staff. I am satisfied with the price-quality, and the breakfast...
I had a very low room rate through Agoda so I was placed in one of their older rooms. In short, if you don't mind the 90s decor it is great value for money as it is a clean and quiet hotel strategically located closed to the metro and old town. The receptionists were very welcoming and friendly, compliments to them! The room cleaners however were the worst, I stayed here for one night nevertheless...
Fantastic location and truly the best breakfast ever! The rooms are nice, clean, there’s fridge in them. Breakfast offers a wide variety of Hungarian and international cuisine. Nice staff.
The location is beautiful and quite. Breakfasts are good: Scrambled eggs, pasta, sausages, three types of cereals, multiple types of cheese, ham and cottage cheese, toasts, hummus, yoghurt, fresh vegetables and salads, seasonal fruit, pastry. The hotel is very clean in general. Staff is very friendly and willing to help.
There is not enough possibilities to charge your mobile phone or whatever you need to charge, not in the room and even not it the lobby. It could be quite a frustrating situation.
Breakfast was amazing. So many options, different types of cheese, bread, eggs. Even milk for lactose intolerance peoples. Fruits, yogurts, different sweets.

Room was clean and had everything needed. Staff was very polite and nice. Breakfast had good variety for a 3* hotel. Furniture was a bit old already, doors hard to close from the outside what made for some door slamming noise. Also noisy was the room service cart that you could hear from 07h30 in the morning roaming around the corridors. That was sincerely annoying. Location was great.
The staff were friendly but the rooms were not really clean. Our room had one window/balcony that was placed directly next to a shared area window (see the photo attached). Therefore, you have to choose between fresh air or privacy. What made our stay worse is that there was a power outage exactly on the first day of the Sziget Festival. Picture’s make the rooms look a lot bigger than they are, clean which is good, noise from the banging doors and lift are a nightmare, breakfast was ok but had to ask for plates, cups and even food as it wasn’t topped up, the whole place reminded me more of an youth hostel, wouldn’t stay here again

It's affordable and convenient as it's located within walking distance of most public transportations nodes from busses to above ground metros. The staff was kind enough to host me on the 6th floor with a river view and had the chance to timelapse a sunset, however it was cloudy. The bar is opened until 11PM and the morning buffet is copious.
The hotel is located in a less touristic part of Budapest. Approximately 11 minutes from the M3 metro station. Rooms spacious and clean. Well soundproofed. Loud air conditioning. Parking for about eight cars. €15 per space. Difficult to manoeuvre for the untrained.
Rooms are cute and cozy just the AC is old so very loud. Breakfast was terrible. I suggest not to expect anything from the breakfast. If you can get bread with Nutella be grateful. Overall 3/5 for location and rooms.

Highly recommended! Convenient location, nice and cosy apartment, clean and tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super delicious, local cuisine, decent choice for everyone. If you visiting Budapest this hotel is good option. Walking distance to town.
Very good and stylishly furnished hotel and restaurant. We came here for brunch. It was well attended and we had a seat outside in the courtyard. It was great and very cozy. The food was also good, was buffet and had enough and was also well refilled.
A Tranquil Oasis of Comfort and Courtesy at Mika Hotel Review: From the moment I stepped into Mika Hotel, I was enveloped in an ambiance of tranquility and comfort that made my stay unforgettable. The standout feature, without a doubt, is the staff's exceptional politeness and professionalism. Every interaction, whether it was at check-in or casual inquiries, was handled with a warmth and efficiency...
Everything about this hotel was amazing an beyond expectations. The rooms are big and cozy, very warm and well equipped (a fully furnished small kitchen and even a washing machine and iron board). We choose the option with breakfast included and we were not disappointed as it offered a very good selection of food. The location of the hotel is just perfect, very central and close to all amenities, bar...
Rooms are very nice and clean, and hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast are also very good and have decent selection.
Very surprised about other reviews - We loved our stay here. The bar in the hotel and next door can be a bit noises but we were so tired, we could not hear a thing - and we had a room facing the bar. The room was clean, had all the things we needed, including a coffee maker, and the staff was very helpful when we asked for something we needed. The breakfast was great ! Just enough food- loved the...

Stayed here for a night before meeting a group. Able to go to room right upon arrival (early!) and was pleased to see how festive the hotel was and how kind the staff was. Drinking water everywhere, great expresso, and near many restaurants with gluten free options. Room was clean, bed was comfortable and modern, bathroom was well lit. Would stay again. Room a little on the small side, but wonderful
Everything was great, we arrived early and stored our bags in the hotel lockers, room was clean and comfortable, love the electric window/shade, breakfast is tasty with plenty of choice. All personnel is very friendly and efficient.
Lovely hotel, perfectly placed with many connections bus, tram, rail, metro walking etc... The hotel is very modern, breakfast is superb! There's a ps5 if your that bored, rooms were spacious and the shower was superb. The only issues I can comment on the beds felt like you were going to fall off on the side and no room based ac. Other than that I'd still happily go back.
Excellent hotel, one of the best I've been to in that category. The rooms are clean, the bathroom too, the breakfast is excellent. The hotel is close to the city center, a 7-8 minute walk from the Parliament. The metro is right next to the hotel. Great value for money.
Perfect hotel near the center of Budapest. The room is very clean and modern looking. The staff is very polite and nice. We also had breakfast every morning and it was really good. There is an underground station (public transport), a train station, McDonald's, spar and dechatlon and its all in distance around 1 minute walk. The room for 2 is a little small but it also has a fridge and TV so we...
I felt great being here. The staff were super helpful, booking me a taxi and a massage, and the breakfast was varied and plentiful! Room had good decor, clean, was quiet and all in all it was a perfect stay.

Rooms r good enough to stay. Big space I don't know about TV is working or not I didn't chckd space r there fridge, table, chair, Almirah, bed all r nyc but remember NO AC n NO FANS R there nyt is OK cool but in mrng litl difficult.
3 star hotel only. Cleaness and modern furniture will be the most concern for guests who are thinking of booking a room here. But the rooms are spacious indeed. It feels like we are living back to the Soviet era with timed old building and crack pattern street in front. And boild eggs with sausages will be your breakfast are main dishes for every morning you wake up and step in to the cafeteria.
