My first time in Budapest. Wasn’t sure what to expect. To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit. Be sure to book this wonderful hotel for your stay!

An old fashioned beautiful hotel. Our executive suit was beautifully decorated and had access to executive lounge which is a useful amenity. Hotel is well maintained. We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Nice breakfast, great cocktails and close to a lot nice restaurants. The spa is stunning and well cleaned, the hot tub is a beast though. Great for soothing tired leg muscles after a days sightseeing. The only downside way on the soft side so struggled to sleep well, but other than that it was great.

The building from outside and inside would need some renovation. However, I understand the property itself is a historical one. The staff itself is kind, professional and helpful. I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. Very good stay at the New York Palace. The rooms are very modern with great functioning AC (even through a 90 degree heat wave throughout the city). For a five star hotel, you can get a really good deal here, but the hotel itself isn't all that great. Doesn't have a pool which is weird, and has a tiny gym. Location is really good though. Rooms are nice.

IBEROSTAR is undoubtedly one of the most prestigious hotels chains in the world. I and my wife had the best time in Budapest and off course the hotel. It was almost a one month long roller coater ride for us in Europe. IBEROSTAR will always be there in the memories we have of our Honeymoon. Lovely hotel with great location.Just a short walk to Parliament, St. Stephens,and many good restaurants. The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the spa after a full day of sightseeing.

Room was nice, but service is not so great, need to pay for bottled water, there were people smoking in the lobby. Location is very close to the castle.

Didn't stay at the hotel as a guest, but had lunch there. Their menu meal was great value and delicious, giving us a teaser of the traditional hungarian cuisine. The venue is incredibly beautiful, definitely worth taking a look. Great choice of wines and very helpful staff. We were in a group of 9 with no reservation but they still managed to arrange for a big table for us.

Stopped here for lunch. Very friendly service and a decent value set lunch on offer, which was reasonable quality if nothing special. Their restaurant was a bit gloomy, but they have a beautiful inner patio/garden which they were happy to let us eat in.

For example in the bathroom, they have a very nice rain shower but the design was in a way that whole bathroom floor was like a puddle after a shower. Amazing hotel, awesome service and 2 great restaurants. Had a room with balcony and bathtub. Coffee machine and a phone on every room for use outside the hotel with tips, great concept. Didn’t had the breakfast (pp 25€) but the restaurants were both awesome. Very good spot for sightseeing and shopping.
