My first time in Budapest. Wasn’t sure what to expect. To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit. Be sure to book this wonderful hotel for your stay!
The entrance to the building and hallway is grand and welcoming. The SPA pool area is excellent and very relaxing. The rooms are nice clean, quiet and most importantly the beds are comfortable. The separate elevator entrance to the SPA is appreciated. The hotel is in a very good location with many places to eat in the area. All staff in the hotel are extremely polite and helpful. Overall it was...
A lovely 5 star, beautifully decorated. The room i had was large and comfortable. The service everywhere was efficient with a friendly smile. Very good selection for breakfast which can be taken either in the restaurant or the atrium. Located in easy walking distance of many main attractions. Tram stop right in front of the hotel. All things considered it was an excellent stay.
An old fashioned beautiful hotel. Our executive suit was beautifully decorated and had access to executive lounge which is a useful amenity. Hotel is well maintained. Breakfast buffet was extensive but most of the food was of average quality. Location is not particularly central and the street on which the hotel is located was a bit grungy. No views from any of the hotel rooms.
Our recent stay at Corinthia Budapest was wonderful! The service is 10/10 and so is the attention to detail. The staff were friendly and warm, great breakfast buffet, and beautiful THE ROYAL SPA was very relaxing, spending the evening there after a long day of walking in the city, nothing was rushed and a very well chilled out atmosphere. The guest relation staff, Luca, is topnotch. If she sees and...
We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Nice breakfast, great cocktails and close to a lot nice restaurants. The spa is stunning and well cleaned, the hot tub is a beast though. Great for soothing tired leg muscles after a days sightseeing. The only downside way on the soft side so struggled to sleep well, but other than that it was great.

Hotel was very nice including the room. Very quiet and well. Soundproofed room. No noise. Bed was very comfortable. Everything was clean. Front desk service was very attentive. Convenient location adjacent to the Danube River and all the major sites. Highly recommend.
A wonderful stay here. When the taxi dropped us off, I did have a panic from the outside appearance. However, pushing through the door was into luxury. Beautiful hotel with its own history and greeted by wonderful staff. The staff were helpful throughout our stay, our room spotless and well stocked. The hotel pool is just right for a dip when sitting up on the roof. You are provided with pool towels...
Stayed for several days at Intercontinental prior to going on Viking River Cruise. The hotel is very nice and in a perfect location to see the sights of Budapest. Room was comfortable with all the basic amenities. Had breakfast several mornings in the restaurant, all food and service was very good. Staff were very friendly and helpful during our time there. Walk out the front door and you on...
The rooms are big and amenities are of good quality. The breakfast has many options for all taste and a really good Lebanese corner with fresh pita bread. The service is super good and the gym is well equipped for a hotel one. The location is the best you can get, looking at the palace near the bridge. Close to many good restaurants. Everything is reachable by foot.
This was a great stay, primarily due to the view and location. These outweighed the average room and facility that measures more like a 4 star hotel. Service was good but not outstanding. We loved the terrace dining and the breakfast buffet was excellent with many good options, including made to order omelette. Included was cappuccinos to order However, we often had to chase down a waiter for coffee...
This hotel is not new or modern, and wasn't renovated lately. However excellent maintenance keeps it in a very good form. we were three couples and enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms were very comfortable as well as the beds. Everything was super clean. The location is the best in Budapest with options for getting anywhere on foot or by excellent public transportation. Amazing Location, the view from the rooms is breath taking. Breakfast buffet has a very good variety. Shopping area is 7 min walking distance. Tram is just infront of the hotel. -Beds are big and comfy. -Room service available. -Wifi is fast. -Staff are nice and helpful. Would recommend
The building from outside and inside would need some renovation. However, I understand the property itself is a historical one. The staff itself is kind, professional and helpful. The location is perfect, and the panorama is stunningly beautiful. Everything is close by walking distance. The Danube river is beautiful from the view. Reservation is easy, and there plenty of options.
Everything is great - location, views, beds/rooms, lobby and outdoor seating areas, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever been to! It’s massive. Can’t ask for a better spot to be stationed while exploring Budapest. And every single person who works there is wonderful, great customer service.
Great hotel with fantastic service. Breakfast definitely 5 stars. Hotel could definitely be upgraded with an inside pool and renovations to the out dated hotel exterior. A bathtub would also be great!
Great place to stay in Budapest. Hotel is in a great location right on the Danube and offers spectacular views of the city. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. Everything seemed new and modern and very upscale. Big lobby with a restaurant and bar as well.
Very pleasant atmosphere, attentive waiters and managers, the beautiful panorama of the historic centre of the Buda side with a lovely backlight!

It was not the first time I chose the hotel's restaurant for dinner. I love the atmosphere! The food is always delicious and the service is excellent! The staff is always smiling, all of them are very helpful. I would like to highlight Jenny's work which was beyond our expectations. When she overheard that we celebrated my father's birthday she made a small surprise for him putting a candle into his...
Stayed in a family suite over the Christmas holidays, and loved it. I don't get the mixed reviews. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and the hotel dining (breakfast and Paris Cafe) to be great. The TVs in the rooms were a little wonky, but we weren't exactly sitting around watching TV. One thing to be aware of - there's a little casino in the hotel that was fun if you have a little extra...
An exceptional hotel in an even more exceptional location. We got a room with a river view on the top floor. The view was absolutely incredible. The space was fantastic and served all of our needs. The staff is incredibly attentive to the needs of their guests and will respond in a moments time. The breakfast is a true pleasure each morning. Although we had access to the private area on the top floor...
This hotel is absolutely amazing in every way. Rooms are the only thing which is quite standard for a few* but in a bathroom you will find an aplliance which looks like a switch and it plays a few different types of music - this is fun. Breakfast is amazing, a pool and sauna very nice, staff is absolutely great and everything works as a charm. But what I found the most appealing was the architecture...
Really nice hotel with nice rooms, beds and great staff. stayed for 12 nights and couldn't really complain about service. could have a better gym but other than that, i recommend it. View from my room

Great family friendly hotel. Great value for money. We stayed 5 days and it was relaxing for grown ups and exciting for kids. We will definitely return.
It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel...
The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.
I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).
The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.
The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

I should say BIG THANK YOU to NH Hotel Budapest. I lost my Iphone 15 promax, but they found it in the breakfast table where I was eating. I was so clumsy with my item, but I appreciated so much for the hotel and staff support to keep it safe and handed to me. The front office staff were also very patient and caring when I requested support to print out few documents. Such a BIG HELP!! You are amazing...
Ok hotel, but staff not at all accomodating when I needed a secluded place for a meeting after checkout. Claimed all rooms and conference rooms were booked. Could see for myself that at least two conference rooms were locked with no participants and it was still possible to make reservations for a regular room on the web site ☹️
The easiest 5 stars I ever gave! Great hotel with great stuff! Thank you for hosting me and my wife and for understanding your clients' needs! Recommending for anyone who is visiting Budapest!
[Jun-2023] Hotel well located at the center of the city. The room was spacious and clean, although a bit outdated. The breakfast was great with a variety of food. I liked very much the attention they made when checking out of the hotel. Since my flight was during the night, I asked if they could make something to eat, and they did. That was nice 👍
Hotel is fine for the facilities and location and overall courtesy etc. What was a disappointment was that they didn't replenish water in the room after the first one and one had to buy water. I took 2 bottles from the bat below thinking I'm just replenishing..but they charged me for it on check out. And they weren't at all willing (atleast to me) for a late check-out. I didn't ask for hours but 3...

We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. The shower in our original room leaked and flooded the entire bathroom....
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Highly recommend
Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. The manager went out of her way to please, even recommending her favorite desserts.. Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and charming. We recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.
Beautiful Hotel in the city center, easy to access with public transport. Helpful staff at check in, bar and cleaning staff. The restaurant was lovely, good food and service. The breakfast is a nice mix of different things with a variety every day, one minus point is the morning staff. Tables aren't cleared after guests left and staff oftentimes chats behind the counter rather than refilling cups/...
It was a lovely stay. The facilities of the hotel are great. Our room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing, had a lot of variety and the food was of great quality. The location of the hotel is really convenient. The best thing about the hotel were the staff members. Unfortunately the room did not live up to its description on the hotel’s website. We booked directly with the hotel last August, the executive room description states that they have either a city or courtyard view. Our room had a frosted glass window with a view over the arched roof over the bar. When I asked at reception I was told that all executive rooms have the same view. The bed was made daily...

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet was really good too. The location is great. It’s convenient to public transportation. It’s easy to walk to many of the sites from the hotel. It’s really perfect in many ways.
Stayed in the hotel for one night. Rooms are clean, not very spacious. The location is good, not too far away from the center. The hotel prepared a complimentary cake and champagne for birthday, which was very nice of them! And also they give Marriott members depending on the status complimentary drinks in the bar :) 4/5 only for bad pressure in the shower :( rest was good.
Excellent experience with its central location, making it easy to explore Budapest’s major attractions. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained, providing a comfortable stay. The breakfast buffet is highly praised for its variety and quality. Overall, it was a wonderful hotel with a balance of convenience, comfort, and service.
Great location... dated rooms. Had a great sized room, 1 minute away from the trams and subway. This was the perfect place to stay to be downtown. The rooms weren't cleaned well, and ants were in the bathroom. The water didn't work well, and they couldn't fix the heat seating for the shower. So hot showers on hot days. The staff were great, and the breakfast was a really nice continental option...
The hotel is well located in the city centre. Very good connectivity just outside the hotel. Quite a lot of good restaurants and bars in walking distance. The 2 people at the bar, a boy and a girl, forgot their names, provided good suggestions on things to do and place to eat. All the suggestions were great. The check-in lady Victoria and the rest of the team, too, were very helpful . Very good service
Great hotel, we had to book due to last minute cancelation of our other plans. Accommodating staff, fabulous reservation person, huge breakfast spread. Comfortable rooms, amazing location.

I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. The room service and location were great as well. The bar was fantastic and the bartender Oliver, was so gentlemanly and kind. I loved it so much. Only recommendation is that the hot tub could be a bit more hot!
The Ritz Carlton Budapest is truly one of the most exquisite hotels I have ever stayed at. Location was amazing, rooms were spectacular and the service was 10/10. We spent two days in Budapest en route to Vienna and Prague on a Christmas Market adventure, so we chose the Ritz Carlton Budapest for its location. Because of our limited time in the city, the hotel's location was excellent and we were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. That was a wonderful experience in charming Budapest. Not only is the location very central and close to river Danube but also the offered amenities and ambience is indeed worth 5 stars. Our stay at the Ritz Carlton was wonderful overall. We were able to check in early, which was convenient after a really long flight, though we did receive a street view instead of the city view we’d hoped for. Stayed here for one night, and was pleased to receive very generous elite recognition as Titanium. Staff were omnipresent, attentive, and cordial. The room was spacious and pristine (my only complaint - the carpeting is a touch dated, even if in fair condition). Breakfast was excellent (try the shakshuka). Look forward to staying again in the future!

All I can say is WOW! I’ve been home for two days and I catch myself day dreaming about being back at Anantara. Absolutely beautiful rooms, amazing service, tucked away but still very central. I felt like royalty staying here. The cappuccinos here are not to be missed (until you’re no longer there) and every meal I had was completely 5 star.
This hotel is the best so far we have seen around Europe. From receptionist to doorman and restaurant staff everyone was absolutely amazing. The rooms are spotless and spacious. Was our first stay this year but We will come back every year now. Many thanks to Szonja from reception that was the most helpful. Well done!
Great experience! The hotel itself looks amazing, my room was huge with all the necessary amenities. The staff was super nice, polite and helped me with a lot of organizational questions. While to my taste, its location is not perfect, I highly recommend to stay at this hotel to experience its dining, super fancy breakfast, bar and SPA
Absolutely stunning hotel with exceptional service. The spa was quiet and relaxing offering excellent treatments, the room service was quick and delicious and the Poets Bar had excellent service with beautiful views of the New York Cafe below. Every staff member we met were helpful and efficient and the breakfasts options are extensive and fresh. I have seen some reviews mentioning air conditioning...
Very good stay at the New York Palace. The rooms are very modern with great functioning AC (even through a 90 degree heat wave throughout the city). The staff is very attentive and the breakfast is amazing. The one minus is that is a much longer walk to the major city attractions and area around the hotel is not the best (the neighborhood has yet to complete the post socialist clean up)

From the outside, this is a beautiful building with stunning architectural aspects. We did not stay here or get a chance to go inside so our review is limited to the outside features of the building only. The hotel is located near a beautiful small park across the street and the Széchenyi Chain Bridge.
I can’t speak for the rooms or hotel itself, but we visited for afternoon tea and dinner. The afternoon tea was such a delight - the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Everything was delicious. The china was beautiful. The seating was extremely cozy too. There was a pianist during our tea, which really just brought the entire experience together. I’d highly recommend visiting for tea
The best hotel, with the best location we’ve ever had. Amazing staff, and services. While it’s not the most inexpensive place we’ve ever stayed, for the cost, as my wife always says, “it was worth it at twice the price.”

The hotel is good, rooms are big and confortable. The desk staff wasn’t very friendly though when we arrived, not terrible but not great either. The pool is nice and there is even a sauna and jacuzzi. Although the hotel is nice it’s definitely not a 5 star hotel
We had an amazing time staying at Queen’s Court Hotel & Residence this weekend! Perfect location, friendly staff and all you need. I only stayed for a short time, but the rooms are equipped for longer staying guests, which made my stay very relaxed. Breakfast is a small selection, but good quality and tasty food and drinks. The employees were very friendly and helpful at all times. I recommend staying at this hotel.
The room has everything you might need in everyday life, at the reception there is a free coffee machine with cocoa tea and different types of coffee
I was staying here for a conference in Budapest. When I arrived at the residences (via a mistaken detour trying to check into the hotel - make sure you tell the taxi driver it's a difference place) the staff were very friendly and efficient. There were not many on the desk so I did have to wait a bit. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with all the amenities I needed.
It is located in the center of downtown Budapest so you can shop or drink nearby. Room is simple and clean. But some of rooms look like having a noise coming from outside. It has a very small fitness center. Reception staffs are very kind and helpful.

The hotel itself is magnificent. Location, interior design, convenience, and historical value are superb. However, as other reviews showed, the food services are ordinary. The hotel is filled with lots of historical details that made us almost not want to leave. The staff really stood out, they were genuinely helpful and charismatic. Special shootout to Benjamin, Aron, Doga and Naomi...
My family and I stayed two nights in the lovely Matild Palace Hotel in Budapest. Everything was wonderful. There were fresh Apricots in the room, beautiful bathroom with tub and two shower heads in the enclosure with the tub. There was also a bidet with electronic controls including a dryer. I loved the shampoo and conditioner they provided and I wish I had taken a picture of it because I can’t remember...

I have never stayed here but sometimes need to park right out side to drop off and pick up people. No one has ever told me to go away and left me in peace to wait. So I give 5 stars because I have no complaints. Hotel looks nice from the outside!
This hotel is a great place to stay, it's very clean & the staff are brilliant. They are very helpful at all times & if I was to come back to Budapest I would stay here again. There are several restaurants nearby & the transport system is also close. The rooms are a good size & very comfortable.
Clean and comfortable, the breakfast was decent- nothing special. The area is a little dodgy at night.
Great hotel! Super helpful and friendly staff. Amazing breakfast and nice and clean rooms. For sure recommended!
Perfect hotel, taste breakfast, polite staff always ready to help, clean rooms with modern equipment. Very close to the center of the city. One big mol is near the hotel. Free wi-fi with perfect connection. I highly recommend this hotel to stay in Budapest!

The Kozmo hotel is amazing. We stayed in November for 3 days in a suite and it was huge, about 70 square meters with a large living room with high windows. The bed was big size with a large dressing room and a large bathtub. The hotel staff was impeccable and attentive, especially the concierge Krisztian who accompanied us to the rooms and gave us a tour of the hotel and gave us tips about the city...
Our stay at this beautiful hotel was simply perfect! The entire team ensured that we felt completely comfortable throughout our time there. I’d especially like to highlight the concierge team, who were simply exceptional. They went above and beyond to make our stay even more enjoyable. Whether it was booking excellent restaurants or arranging unique excursions, every request was met with a smile and...
Our family stayed for three nights at the Kozmo back in June, so this review is a little behind schedule. In short, I would recommend it. Good location, located centrally enough to access most of the city's attractions easily, but nonetheless away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely historical building, which has been very sympathetically restored and decorated. The staff were very helpful and friendly...
We had a wonderful family vacation here. Very clean and comfy rooms. Breakfast is simply good. Staff is kind and helpful. It’s also located in a quiet area but only 10 minutes away from the center. We shall visit this hotel again one in Budapest.
Got this hotel at an unbeatable rate. Didn’t get upgraded as my friend to a junior suite (i dont know why to someone they do to someone no). The hotel is part of small luxury hotels but there’s nothing small in there the building and the rooms are just huge, way above the average hotel room size which is a very good thing. They have a nice spa, billiards and I’ve noticed that the furniture used is...
Absolutely beautiful hotel. I cannot fault it's beauty. Staff is extremely helpful and accommodating. I felt very pampered and welcomed. Very good value for money! Just some honest feedback for the management. It is a luxury hotel. I was given a robe with horrendous stains. Towels are with frayed edges and house keeping is struggling. I stayed 10 days and I clearly didn't need my sheets changed every...

We stayed at the Mystery hotel for 4 nights and loved every minute of it. Was our 25th Wedding celebration and this hotel couldn't be more perfect for our special occasion . All staff were extremely polite and very friendly and couldn't have done more to make us feel very welcomed. The hotel is beautiful and very well presented, every single corner there's a new surprise . The interior design is fantastic...
Fantastic Hotel. We stayed in room 606, which was stunning. The Spa is beautiful and so relaxing. The breakfast was amazing. We had four nights, which was perfect to see Budapest. The location of the hotel is perfect, you can walk to most attractions. Loved the hotel and had a fabulous stay.
As part of a large group that stayed here, we were very happy with the rooms, the service and the breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel is beautiful. Oct '24 We were able to walk to restaurants and other attractions. We would stay again in the future.
Clean and presentable bedroom, staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We walked everywhere, did not use public transport which wasn’t an issue. Didn’t eat at the hotel so unable to comment on food. Used the spa and had treatments which were lovely and reasonably priced.
We had an excellent stay at the mystery hotel. Every member of staff was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were super clean and well-appointed. Rooftop bar was really nice and we finished each evening there for a nightcap. Spa amenities and massage services were all top notch as well. When we come back to Budapest, we will not even consider a different hotel. 🙂
I recently spent four delightful days at the Mystery Hotel and couldn't be more satisfied with my stay. The room was spacious and offered a breathtaking view, making it a joy to return to each day. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring restful nights throughout my stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to assist with a specific issue I had. One of the highlights...
