We had a couples massage and spent several hours in the spa afterwards. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional from start to finish. The 90-minute couples massage was absolutely wonderful and deeply relaxing. The spa facilities are beautiful, with a jacuzzi, several saunas and a swimming pool. A calm and peaceful atmosphere that truly feels luxurious. Highly recommended.
Great historical building with very high ceilings in the foyers. Great breakfast buffet. Showers can go hot and cold but tolerable. Location is walkable to Hungarian state opera, high street shopping and good restaurants.
Good hotel in a nice spot - liked how I could walk to many parts of town or take public transit. The spa area is nice but at times not enough beds. Breakfast is superb with so much variety. Rooms were comfy and quiet.
We stayed for 3 nights at Corinthia. The hotel is very elegant and refined. The pool area is beautiful, although the water was a bit cold. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The in-room breakfast was amazing — a big highlight!
We had a lovely stay here and although I’ve stayed here multiple times in the past, it was many years ago, so I couldn’t remeber how nice it was! We stayed in a suite that was amazing! Made us just want to stay in all weekend!
We also ate at caviar and bull onsite one night and had a fantastic meal. The breakfasts were also top draw! If you have access to the executive lounge there are decent snacks...
A Truly Exceptional Stay at Corinthia Budapest
Our experience at the Corinthia Budapest was absolutely outstanding. From the moment we arrived, the entire team made us feel incredibly welcome. The service was timely, kind, and full of thoughtful gestures especially since we were celebrating my birthday. Every detail was carefully taken care of, making our stay feel truly special.

Early dinner on Spoon, a boat restaurant just right down the hotel.
Bonus: night views of Buda from Pest
Fantastic experience I will never forget. The view is incredible! We have a such luxury to enjoy the night view in the room. Breakfast is also good and the room is quiet.
We picked a room facing the river and the castle! Stunning view and the room is spacious with a comfy bed.
The breakfast at weekend is outstanding with sparkling wine. Weekday breakfast serves similar stuff but no sparkling wine. The quality is excellent!

We stay at this hotel for vacation, very good location and convenient.
We are a family of 2 adults and 3 kids, we booked through trip.com 2 deluxe river view rooms, then I send the hotel and email asked for connected rooms, once I arrived the hotel 2 girls at the reception were too friendly they upgraded my rooms to the next level which was sea view with buda castle view and connected which is made my day, the hotel location is so great I just walked from the hotel to...
Good location, Even though my reservation was on the river, they asked for an additional cost for a high floor
Great view from the window, clean room. Highly recommended!
Superb location and direct view to danube river. Walking distance to tram station, cruise ride and city centre. The room is spacious and clean. I like the sofa beside the window that allows me to enjoy the danube river view both day and night.

Great location, close to the airport
Rooms where a bit dated, not much but just needs a slight facelift i.e. the apartment rooms contains an old school microwave, decor needs a uplift but otherwise very satisfied. Rooms are very spacious and temp controlled.
Service was great too. Staff were very helpful
Amazing water park, perfect for both kids and adults! There are so many different types of pools and entertainment areas for children, as well as a great variety of sauna rooms for adults. I especially loved the outdoor pool that connects directly to the indoor one — you can even swim out! We didn’t get a chance to stay in the hotel. But highly recommended for a fun and relaxing day in Budapest! (No...
Amazing family-friendly resort with great water attractions and clean facilities. The indoor water park is huge, with slides for all ages, wave pools, and relaxing saunas. Absolutely awesome! An excellent place we will definitely return to. The room was spacious (junior suite) and fit well for a family of parents + 3. The staff was mostly friendly, and the option to eat with no wait at the place useful. Absolutely recommended as a retreat near Budapest for families

I liked the hotel. Clean, cozy, great breakfast, wonderful pools. Convenient to get to the center and other areas by bus. The island is all green, beautiful!
Thank you for a perfect stay. Quiet place with a picturesque view, thermal pools, not far from historical city center. I will recommend this hotel for a nice vacation in Budapest.
Very relaxing hotel on Marguerite Island
Good breakfast
Very good spa
The environment is very good, the breakfast is also rich, there are all kinds of cheese, and the hot spring vacation is very suitable. It's a pity that I didn't have time to enjoy it in the hotel. The transportation is relatively convenient
Excellent, nothing to complain about, and we improved our health and lived in the center and in extraordinary beauty, thank you, we already want to come back only here
The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. The hotel has excellent access to the city center, which I consider a big advantage. There is a tram and a train nearby, making transportation to the center easy and fast.
The hotel itself looks nice and well maintained; however, the rooms would benefit from a small renovation. The biggest disappointment for us was the wellness area. During the first two days of our stay, the water in both the pools...
A bit of the beaten track, but good connections and the uber taxis are super reliable and reasonable. Room just ok could be better/ cleaner but bed comfy. Service was brilliant though and breakfast was busy but well handled.
Good hotel.
Nice staff.
Good food.
The spa has 3 pools with different temperatures and three saunas.
The only very small problem is that it is about 4 km to the major attractions, but that's not bad at all because you can walk more and if necessary you can also take public transport!
Otherwise, a very nice place!
Our stay at The Aquincum Hotel Budapest – Verdi Budapest Aquincum was truly wonderful. We spent 5 days there and enjoyed every moment. The hotel is very cozy and located in the Buda part of the city, in an excellent area. With just one means of public transport, you can reach the city center in about 5–10 minutes, which is very convenient.
The spa area is amazing — the pools have different temperatures...
The hotel is a bit far from the city center, and the red-haired lady at reception made communication somewhat difficult. However, we had an enjoyable stay for the Christmas Market. Special thanks to Sercan for helping us in our own language, which made everything easier. The hotel has a warm and friendly atmosphere, and the staff are attentive.
We had an absolutely incredible experience during our stay. Best was the swimming pool area. The surroundings were stunning, with breathtaking scenery that left us in awe. We especially enjoyed the expansive pool area, which was perfect for relaxing and soaking up the sun. Thank you for...
Extremely Disappointing Experience with Inadequate Response I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this hotel, and I must say that it was deeply disappointing. The hotel is well located to walk around and there are great places to eat nearby. It’s a 15 minute walk to the Christmas markets and river.
The hotel is very nice in the entrance with a dramatically beautiful lobby, but the rooms are small, dark and in my case not very clean.

We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. The shower in our original room leaked and flooded the entire bathroom....
This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Highly recommend
Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. Stayed in a family suite over the Christmas holidays, and loved it. I don't get the mixed reviews. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and the hotel dining (breakfast and Paris Cafe) to be great. We had a wonderful stay at Kempinski Hotel in Budapest. The hotel is very clean and well-organized, and the staff is attentive and quick to resolve any issues. The central location made it easy to explore the city. Highly recommended!
The hotel room is really big enough, large and small suitcases can be unfolded at the same time, the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas, and there are Chinese-style charging sockets in the room, which is very considerate. Chopsticks are provided for breakfast, which is rare in European hotels.

This is my third time staying at this hotel.
The location is absolutely brilliant – right next to the tube, and the red line is super convenient for getting around. That’s always been a big plus and one of the main reasons I keep coming back.

I don't really understand some of these negative reviews here. I've had a beautiful stay. It was first experience for me with this hotel and our room was clean, beds were very comfy. Great location near the city center, with easy access to restaurants and affordable pricing.
What stood out was that the sauna and steam room were operating even at 2 a.m. While small—just enough for two people—it was a really pleasant surprise, especially with jet lag keeping me up.
This was one of the 5 Courtyard’s that we stayed on our vacation in Europe, however, the checked in experience was disappointing especially I am Marriott Titanium member, the front desk person not even recognized my Marriott status, all he focus was that I used Marriott reward points for my room and told me that I am not entitled for room upgrade, as a result, he put us at the same level with other...
Great stay at Courtyard by Marriott Budapest City Center! The location is perfect in the heart of the city with easy access to public transport. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and cozy, not too big but comfortable with large windows. Highly recommended!

We spent two days in Budapest en route to Vienna and Prague on a Christmas Market adventure, so we chose the Ritz Carlton Budapest for its location. If you don’t stay enough once, you will continue next time.
The rooms booked by Ctrip are always in the worst locations, and the hotel will not change this status even if there are many vacancies. What's more terrible is that for the same price, you can get a good location through ***********. I don't understand. This time, two different rooms, with the same price, were booked through different companies, and the result was like this. Ctrip should think: why
The service is very poor. The waiter opens the door directly, affecting sleep and sense of security.
I upgraded to a tower suite at the front desk. The location is very convenient and the view from the room is beautiful. The interior of the room is a bit old, and the bathroom is at the door and you have to go down a few stairs from the bedroom, which is weird.

The hotel is more like a vacation home. The restaurant is open only for breakfast. It's closed after breakfast. The bar is closed. There's no cafe. The rooms are very cramped. The bathrooms are extremely tight, barely big enough for one person. The larger ones in the photos are few and far between. Breakfast is good. Unfortunately, chlorinated pools are available in the hotel next door, which is connected...
The on-site access to thermal bath, sauna, steam room and relaxation facilities is the highlight of our stay. The natural island environment added extra icing.
The hotel was in interesting place on Margaret Island. Very clean and inside hotel was termal spa.
Super nice classic hotel! Located in the north of Margaret Island, next to the Japanese Garden, where it is very nice to walk.
There is an underground passage to the SPA of the neighboring hotel, the rooms have robes, which is very convenient, you do not need to change clothes.
In the SPA area there are 2 thermal pools, a pool with a jacuzzi and a small swimming pool. There are women's and men's...

It is a smaller hotel, so you may have to wait a long time for the only receptionist to handle a phone call or other matter, and so ... like me ... you will just stand at the reception for over ten minutes.
The rooms are standard and there is nothing to complain about. The beds are soft, which I personally do not like, but that is a matter of personal preference.
Breakfast is probably standard for...
A very suitable hotel for family trips, not far from New York Cafe, and 30 minutes walk to the main attractions. Very comfortable and clean! Free parking at the door on weekends.
The location is ideal, it is 2 station from the main railway station or few minutes walk. The staffs were nice and helpful, I will be back for sure and recommend them to my friends
We had a great stay at Lion’s Garden Hotel! The pool and spa area felt like a private escape—we practically had it all to ourselves. The staff were friendly, and the hotel strikes a perfect balance between elegance and coziness, offering all the right amenities without breaking the bank. Plus, it’s pretty central, making it easy to explore many of Budapest’s top attractions. Would definitely stay here...
Happy to stay here, a real recommandation for visiting Budapest

I wish I could give it more than 5 stars. The place is very clean and wonderful. The customer service and staff are friendly and attentive, and very keen on guest satisfaction. Their location is excellent and close to most landmarks. Their English is excellent. I only wish the rooms were a little bigger. I would definitely repeat the experience. 💕
We had a fabulous 4 night stay at Matild Palace! Nikoletta in Guest Services was awesome and made sure we had everything we needed (thank you again for the upgrade Nikoletta!!).
All the staff were so very nice. The breakfast is the best I’ve had in over 1,000 Marriott nights. The Spago breakfast included many unique and house-made items that made breakfast memorable.
The hotel is gorgeous and we...

My stay at Matild Palace was nothing short of exceptional - true luxury in every sense of the word. I travel often and stay in many hotels around the world, and this property genuinely stands out as one of the best experiences I’ve had.
From the moment I arrived, everything was handled with absolute professionalism. I had a small misunderstanding with my room reservation, and the reception...
For a luxurious, 5* hotel experience in Budapest, look no further than the Matild Palace hotel. The architectural and design team deserve a medal of the highest order for the scale and level of detail that is evident everywhere in their creation of this magnificent, opulent establishment.
My wife and I spent 4-nights at the fabulous Matild Palace hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We would...
Fantastic hotel. Staff were welcoming and extremely helpful. Recognised my Marriott status, upgraded my room and accommodated LATE checkout.
They even set up the room with a cake, balloon & champagne for our anniversary.
Don’t get me started on the breakfast. Probably the best buffet I’ve seen. Beautiful resturant and the bar upstairs at the duchess is stunning, great for an evening drink.
Most beautiful, luxurious and well ran hotel me and my wife have ever stayed at. The attention to details they put into your stay to personalize your experience brought me and my wife to tears as this was a trip for our baby-moon. They greeted us in our room with a handwritten note, baby shoes and a onesie for our newest addition to our family with an incredible slice of chocolate cake. The staff was...
