I absolutely loved my stay at this hostel! It was incredibly clean and spacious, which made a huge difference. The shower in the 6-bed dorm was surprisingly great — definitely one of the best I’ve experienced in a hostel. I only stayed for one night, but it was a really positive experience. The location is perfect, with multiple supermarkets nearby and everything easily accessible. Highly recommend

I stayed at three wombats on this trip (Munich and Vienna ) and this one is the best!!! There is air conditioning inside the room!! Can’t complain!!! I visited in summer time and it’s grateful to have A/C. Besides there is a little fan every bed just like in wombat Vienna. The bath room is great, lots of space to put your stuffs, with hair dryer as well. Room is big, full size mirror is a plus....

The location is great - easy to get to/from airport and bus station, and it's central for sights and going out, and everything else you need. I stayed in a 4-bed, and it was a massive room - tons of space for luggage. There are individual fans installed on each bed, and the room itself was air conditioned, so overall really pleasant on the day when it was 37C. There's a nice big chill out area downstairs...

Rooms were great and location is fantastic. Unfortunately I had to cut my trip short due to a family emergency. I had hoped to be reimbursed for the 6 nights I had already paid for, but no luck. I feel cheated because of that. I'm sure my bed was rebooked as it's a popular hostel. I would have been satisfied with even half of what I'd paid. It will make me rethink of staying here again.

I wasn't expecting such high quality at such an affordable price, I'm still very surprised... The rooms are very clean, customer satisfaction is a priority... I am especially grateful to Gréta and Barnabas (I hope that's correct)🫣 for their attention... Both are very attentive and solution-oriented, but always prioritize customer satisfaction. I think they deserve a high salary .🙏. Thank you for everything...

I would come back here. It is nice and clean, and super central. Walking distance for most tourist attractions, coffe shops, restaurants and stores. I even had my room all to myself, even though i bought a 4 person room. The only reason i am giving 4/5 atarts is because of the kitchen, it does not have a stove or oven, only microwave and waterboiler.

Really worth staying here! The location is super convenient, close to the tram for tourist spots, just a 4-minute walk to the bus stop, and near the metro too. The building is old, but they keep it really clean, and you can tell they put effort into maintaining it. The staff are amazing and always try to help with whatever I need. Keep up the good work!

What a great place to stay, clean and great value. The stay in Rome is great value. Must sit in the basement if you have to work online.

My husband and I had a comfortable stay at MP Hostel in a twin room (301). It was quiet and had its own shower, toilet & bar fridge. The hostel itself is well-run as the front desk staff we spoke with are all efficient and friendly (and speak English). The only downside we experienced is that the kitchen area only has microwaves and kettles as cooking options – there is no hob/stovetop for guest usage...

Very satisfied with my stay in this hostel. Has everything I expected cleanliness, location, ease of transportation to all places of interest, cafes, restaurants and supermarkets everywhere. It is in a party district with the accompanied noise into the middle of the night but it did not affect my sleep at least for me without the need for ear plugs which the hostel provides if you need them. Great amenities and lovely sized rooms. the lockers are smart lockers with a card to open and are very spacious. the shower is the best I've had with travelling and the staff were very friendly and helpful. lovely beds aswell, very comfortable and with a charger port per bed

If you’re looking for a place that’s easy to reach from the airport, close to the centre and full of like-minded people who like to party, this is the place for you. A bar downstairs offers live music and late parties while the rooftop bar offers a place to hang out, chill and have a great drink. The prices are very reasonable for the overal quality.

Everything was amazing, rooms were clean, safe lockers and amazing friendly help from reception. Met some really cool people and the prices in the bar downstairs are fab ! Location was perfect too, we had the best trip here, will defo be returning.

Great location but the bar downstairs is playing music untill 2/3am. It wasn’t too bad though, maybe bring some earplugs. Nice rooms for a party hostel and very nice bathrooms. It comes with paper hand towels and soap!

Great location, easy to go to city centre

The location is good, but the aircondition is always off. i have to personally request from the reception a few times to make them turn it on. It was getting a little frustrating till the end of my stay

It was my first experience in a hostel. Before i was booking it, I was feeling bit worried and booked only 2 nights. First day at the hostel i was keep forgetting my room key time to time and i had to come back to reception couple of times. There were Kcenia at the encounter desk. I stayed there during my short transit. The staff was so helpful and friendly, the room was clean and comfort. They also have storage room for your luggage if you want to enjoy the city even after your check out time 🙂

Stayed in a private room for a few nights - room was similar to a budget hotel. Comfortable bed, heating worked well in early Feb, plenty of space to store/hang items. Room was facing the street and there was some noise at night but to be expected for such a central location. Get a discount for the restaurant next door which was great for meals. By far the best hostel I’ve stayed in around Europe this trip! Super clean and social, with very friendly staff. They made my trip so easy and gave the best recommendations. Big shout out to Kai and Hanni for an amazing wine tasting and beer pong, and going out of their way to help me plan the best trip.

Best quality you could find for this price. Cheap yet stylish hostel right in Budapest's city center, a walk away from lots of good bars and food places. The room we got was incredibly large and comfortable. We were greeted by Kai at the reception, who was really kind and welcoming – we had an issue with our booking and he fixed it for us right away. It’s hard to speak to this location as a hostel because I stayed in a private room. However, it was very clean, in the room, kitchen and lobby. The location is also great. It’s in a nice neighborhood, but it’s not too busy or loud. My only minor complaints are that the blanket was too short, it didn’t cover my body fully. And there was no shower curtain, so water would splash on the floor. A great...

Great location, great atmosphere, great staff and great breakfast! I was able to relax on my bunker without other bunk mates bothering me, and breakfast had a variety of fresh veggie options. The only concern I had was that the plugs inside the bunks did not really work for my Type C to A plug converter, and it kept falling out multiple times. I was able to charge and use the plug in the common areas...

The location and breakfast was great and easy to access. I was in the mix dormitory and the room was quite tiny. I can just suggest having a small lock for your locker.

This hostel provided you with more comfort and I had breakfast there including the cost. :)

Excellent location, walkable to many places in downtown. Restaurants, exchangers and groceries nearby. Metro station Oktogon is right nextdoor. The hostel provides free breakfast, if you spend over 4 euros at the bar at dinner time you also get free dinner. There's a kitchen area in each room unit free to use as well.

I’m 6ft 2 and fit in these beds comfortably, only issue that I had was that the walls are thin and you can hear all road noise and people walking and talking in the hallways. If you don’t mind wearing earplugs then the location is good as it’s only 5-10 minute walk to the shops/ bars. Great location near public transport and restaurants. Friendly staff and good value for money. Rooms can be noisy due to traffic, and the shower area could be cleaner. Overall, a solid choice for a short stay in Budapest.

A very nice, large and clean hostel. We stayed in 4 person room which was veey large. Each of us had a bed, large closet with lock and enought personal space. The common area is also very spaceus and comfortable. It is close to the center of the city so nothing is very far.

At very central city located that made the trip accessible to go every where in Budapest. I even could enjoy the view of intersection activities from the Balcony. Cozy bed with a clean bathroom. As first time to travel solo, it was very nice to stay in.

Best place to stay in Budapest! The location is perfect, just across fashion street which is in the city centre of the town. The apartment was extremely cute and comfy, and the landlady was really nice too. The furniture is modern, there is a small kitchen with the necessary tools to cook some times and the bathroom is also very big.

Price and location were great but the apartment is tired. Better suited for a bachelor party than a family trip.

Nice location,dedicated staff. Careful about forbidden driving and parking near. They should had warned since the signs can easy be missed at night.

This guesthouse is great. The location is absolutely central. 3 minutes from Deak Ferenc square which is a public transport hub, right at the shopping street on the square where Christmas market usually happens. The rooms are clean with comfortable beds. You can also use the kitchen as well. Elisa's daughter has a small showroom for designer fashion clothes in the guesthouse as well.

This is my 5th trip to Budapest and my favorite place I've stayed. Elisa is so sweet! We only needed a quick place to sleep for 5 hours before our very early flight so I found this place at he last minute near our boat dock. Upon arrival I regretted not finding it at the beginning of our stay when we spent several days in Budapest as this was SO much nicer than our other location. The room was immaculate...

Excellent location, we had a view of the bastillon right outside our window. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The entrance was a bit worn but it didn't detract from the stay. The man on reception was very welcoming and it was very reasonably priced.

If you are looking for place to stay in Pest side of Budapest nothing will be better than Pal's hostel. Care taker was super friendly and we got big rooms on 3rd floor and we had amazing view of St. Basilica from our window😍

Wow. This is an amazing hostel! We immediately felt welcome and we're greeted in a warm way! The apartment itself is incredibly spacious and certainly big enough for groups of 3 - 8! The building itself is very old looking, but it also gives off the feeling that this building had a long history. Overall, superb location and I certainly recommend this place!

Stayed there a couple years back. Service was good and very cheap for what we got, which was a huge apartment. Did not use most of the services the hostel offered because our location was across form the Basilica. Only trip was that there was no where to deposit our key after we had to leave early in the morning for our flight.

Very nice stay besides some minor professional issues. The staff was very nice and easy but they didn't take credit card for one night, so I had to go to an atm. We ordered a cab, staff says they'll order it once we leave. I asked to order it now, since it takes a few minutes for the cab to arrive and we were short to get a train. Staffs said no. Cab was called when we left. We had to wait for 5 minutes...

Really neat hostel with shared apartments available for those looking for a bit more privacy than a bunkbed in a dormitory right off St. Stephen's Cathedral square. Funky, upbeat decor with simple furnishings and good heating. The shared areas of the hostel were really cozy and interesting. Friendly staff and amazingly cheap rates.
