Hotel staff are fantastic, everyone is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. Rooms are new. Location is also excellent, on the edge of the city center / main tourist area on the Pest side, with metro, buses and tram stations all next to the hotel.

The Crowne Plaza Budapest is in a great location, with the Westend shopping mall downstairs. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are reasonably designed, spacious and bright, the breakfast is very rich, and you can also use the sauna and fitness for free. We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. This is a very nice hotel in a good location convenient to public transport and about 20 or so minutes from the main sites along the river. The room is large and has a balcony for leisure. It is very close to the New York Cafe and is even directly connected to the Anata next door. There is a delicious Asian restaurant at the door. You can consider this restaurant when you come to Hungary.

As an American used to air conditioning and a large shower and a dark bedroom, I was miserable at this hotel. I literally did not sleep for the three days we spent here.
