When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.

We stayed here on our honeymoon on a tour. Amazing service! Great food and wine! Great location! Highly recommend. Rooms are cozy, very comfortable, food is regional and fantastic and the breakfast is great!

The hotel rooms are really small, for 4 nights with a baby it was very dificult to survive, specially keeping a stroller in our room as well. It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel...

The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.

I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).

The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. It'a nice to stay 1 or max 2 days to relax however relaxation at the pool is dependent on the events they have with big groups of people. When we stayed there there were alot of people staying by the pool when going out for breaks from a conference room. Pool water clean, spa is small but nice. Breakfast good. It is relatively close to Fisherman's Bastion, about 10 minutes' walk. The hotel has a good breakfast, an acceptable accommodation environment, and a comfortable terrace.

Big rooms and nice. Employees are kind, metro station is close to hotel, max 10 min.in total you are in the city center. Breakfast is as ussual, but there is a lot of options for everybody (hotel was full, labor day 1-3 May, in every moment there were a lot of food, same choice at 7AM and 10:30AM).

Ok hotel, but staff not at all accomodating when I needed a secluded place for a meeting after checkout. Claimed all rooms and conference rooms were booked. Could see for myself that at least two conference rooms were locked with no participants and it was still possible to make reservations for a regular room on the web site ☹️

The hotel facilities include washing machines, refrigerators, clothes drying racks, etc. The bathroom is a little old, but it is clean. Breakfast is in the basement lobby, and the food is good, with several hot dishes. The hotel is in the same building as New York cafe, so you can walk to New York cafe to eat Hungarian food at any time.

The room is large and has a balcony for leisure. It is very close to the New York Cafe and is even directly connected to the Anata next door. There is a delicious Asian restaurant at the door. You can consider this restaurant when you come to Hungary.

Very beautiful, clean hotel, perfect location, 5 minutes near the metro. The parking is quite expensive (25 euro/day), but it is a normal price due to the central location of the hotel. We parked the car near the airport in a P+R parking (very cheap) and travelled with the metro to the hotel. I will choose this hotel everytime I will come back in Budapest 👏

Totally amazing place to stay. I really really liked it. Big, comfy bedroom and bed. The hotel is tight in the city, everything is there e.g., Lidle, Aldi, Tesco, Metro, Bus stops, restaurant, clubs pubs, cinema and most importantly Jewish district. I always like to come back to this hotel. I feel home, valued and cared for. You can lay a bit extra if you want breakfast. Gym and sauna onsite.
