An old fashioned beautiful hotel. Our executive suit was beautifully decorated and had access to executive lounge which is a useful amenity. Hotel is well maintained. We had a great time here a couple of weeks ago. Nice breakfast, great cocktails and close to a lot nice restaurants. The spa is stunning and well cleaned, the hot tub is a beast though. Great for soothing tired leg muscles after a days sightseeing. The only downside way on the soft side so struggled to sleep well, but other than that it was great.

There are many things that the hotel needs to upgrade on. Specially the repair of rooms to bring up to modern standards. There was issues with the beds in the room that we stayed since the beds were very easy to be pushed around. And also there was dirt not cleaned since sometime below the beds.

All the elevators were broken except one. They even blocked off the stairs as well. This is an extreme fire hazard. They locked the staff stairs and did not let anyone use the stairs. Great location, 300m away from the Metro station. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the newest and cleanest one you’ll see but it’s not dirty either. Carpets could use a deep cleaning here and there but overall it’s fine. It’s also kinda loud outside at night and the AC was not working in our room, so we had to sleep with the window open. This hotel is ok for a weekend stay. Rooms are clean (some of them are renovated, some are not), breakfast is ok. Staff is very helpful. Some parts of a hotel (for example canteen, bar and reception) need renovation, because time there has stopped probably 20 years ago. Good location, by the stadium and next to the subway station.

Was led to believe closer to expo venue than it actually was when booking. Was actually over 5 minute taxi ride each day. Hotel was good, no coffee day 2 or day 3 in room. The staff was extremely professional and polite, the room was clean and had everything that we needed. They also left us a bottle of water, a few bags of Coffee and sugar as well as different Teabags. They also let us leave our luggage after the check-out free of charge.

Super friendly staff at reception and everywhere. Always open to help. Breakfast is delicious, freshly cooked and plenty. Dinner was marvellous and I can only recommend to enjoy the great taste. When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.

Who designed showers here? There is only half a shower door... whenever one takes a shower the water sprays out into the rest of the bathroom and literary creates a mini pool. I have noticed many hotels like this. I am wondering if there is something wrong with the way I take showers.

The interior is modern, artistic and the rooms are bigger than you expect at Ibis. The breakfast spread is good, and the parking was a breeze. The Check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The building from outside and inside would need some renovation. However, I understand the property itself is a historical one. The staff itself is kind, professional and helpful. Everything is great - location, views, beds/rooms, lobby and outdoor seating areas, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever been to! It’s massive. This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Unfortunately the room did not live up to its description on the hotel’s website. We booked directly with the hotel last August, the executive room description states that they have either a city or courtyard view. The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.

I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).

The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

It was a pleasant stay for us as a couple. Nice staff, great wellness, great food and drinks. The rooms could do with a bit of renovation as some of the facilities did not look or work well. Takes some time to get to the city center, public transport does the work.

A fantastic hotel, great location if you don't mind walk for approx 3-3.50 km to get to the turist spots and restaurants. It is a very quite hotel with its own thermal bath situated in the ground floor. The breakfast was excellent. Can recommend this hotel.

Great and relaxing stay, very close to the centre yet in the green and calm Margaret Islabd with nice walks around the Danube. Room was comfortable and quiet with all necessities, and the spa and pools area very nice indeed. Especially the hot waters I found to be very beneficial, feeling the effects immediately. The hotel is a bit out from city centre but very peaceful location in a large park surrounded by river Danube. the 26 bus goes by hotel every 15/20minutes right to city centre. Bus fare is very cheap less than £1 per journey download bus app and buy tickets jus scan your phone on bus on every journey

Quiet area, nice and big rooms, great customer service, located not too far from the heart of Budapest, but it's recommended to take a taxi cab through the Uber app. Taxi drivers are honest and super nice, with no hidden fees or extra charges. You pay what's on the meter. Budapest is a beautiful city. It exceeded my expectations.
