Star City Hotel

It is a place where care is taken to make you feel at home. The staff is caring and friendly, they do their best to ensure that you do not experience any negative situations. My accommodation experience was generally good and it is a reliable and helpful business that I would like to stay when I come back.

Rooms:
The cleaning was very successful, the beds were comfortable and the rooms were large enough for the price. If you are someone who does not have ultra-luxury expectations, you will definitely be comfortable.

Staff:
From the first moment we arrived, they warmed us with their sincerity and they are very helpful. I would like to thank the lady who supported us with understanding even though we put our bags in the deposit locker a little late.

I would also like to thank the gentleman at the reception and the lady of the kitchen who supported the breakfast even though we left early in the morning.

Location:
It is close to public transportation and you can easily go to many places. Due to its central location, I discovered many beautiful places within walking distance.

Everything is to be commended, everything is at the high level!

I had to do an emergency check in late last night as my airbnb was horrible. Kristy at the front desk was amazing and so helpful and nice. The hotel itself was clean and quiet in a good location as well. But I can not say enough good things about how helpful Kristy was. Just awesome

The hotel is in a good area, a bit far from the centre but there are trolley and bus stops nearby.

We got a spacious room which was very nice, the only thing is the shower looks a bit old with stains, it seems that they tried to fix it and paint over it. Water pressure in the shower head was abysmal, otherwise the room is clean
The bed is comfortable, and a great advantage that the pillows are not huge, but perfect in size.

At night there was some noise, maybe it was the pipes or air conditioning, but it happened a couple of times a night, overall it didn't bother us, the only thing is it was very loud.

Overall we liked the hotel, great value for money.

This unassuming hotel is absolutely fantastic, especially when comparing price to quality. Based conveniently near Keleti railway station, with easy access to metro lines, buses and trolley-buses or trams. Nearby, convenient stores (usual as well as 24/7), pharmacy, delis, restaurants and fast-food, if in e desperate need of sth. Services is 24/7 with exceptional, young staff that’s speaks decent English. Hotel and rooms are clean, towels are included into price, there’s AC, enough space in room and bathroom to comfortably spend couple of days there. Breakfast (add cost, but minimal) is also great; runs 7-10 am everyday, and offers unlimited breakfast food, hot/cold drinks, fruits, sweets and more. Hotel and its guests are respectful, (vicinity of hotel could get occasionally loud, but these are sound of the city and are acceptable!), so you get a good night sleep for sure. Overall, I can highly recommend this place for short breaks in Buda (for single women and otherwise) and will definitely be staying at the place in the future. Sending my best! - R.

Very kind staff. Near bus station and east main train station. Good breakfast considering room price. The room is clean and equipped with a refrigerator. It has 2 elevators. Safe luggage storage.
Only minus is no air-conditioned and not walking distance to the center. Overall, it is worth staying if you arrive near the Keliti station or looking for breakfast.

Small, charming hotel. Everything is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly. They change the bed linens and towels daily. Although there isn’t a wide selection at breakfast, everything is tasty and more than enough. Plus, the location is excellent.

A small cozy hotel. Good value for money. The staff are exceptional pleasant and helpful, special kudos to Milena, receptionist who has gone out of her way to ensure our stay not only within the hotel, but in Budapest most enjoyable.
