I stayed in this hotel two nights for a 3 days conference. The hotel room was clean despite some detail was not doing good, for example, there was some dirt on the bath robe. But overall it was excellent. The bed was comfortable. The buffet breakfast and lunch were really great. The meeting room were grand. I had a very good time there. Highly recommended.

We picked a room facing the river and the castle! Stunning view and the room is spacious with a comfy bed. The breakfast at weekend is outstanding with sparkling wine. Weekday breakfast serves similar stuff but no sparkling wine. The quality is excellent!

When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle. The rooms are always clean and are large and comfortable. Breakfast is great and the dinner selections are tasty. It is also located next to a mall.

We stayed here on our honeymoon on a tour. Amazing service! Great food and wine! Great location! Highly recommend. Rooms are cozy, very comfortable, food is regional and fantastic and the breakfast is great!

The hotel rooms are really small, for 4 nights with a baby it was very dificult to survive, specially keeping a stroller in our room as well. Wonderful stay at Hilton Budapest. We arrived early before check in time but the hotel let us check in early and we had one of the most great view Danube river king room -618 . It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel. The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel...

The place was made for kids, or those who still feel like once. Planty of water slides, indoor pools and jacuzzi. Outdoor warmed pools, playgrounds, food courts and more. The kids wanted to stay more. Easy to arrive from the center of Budapest by public transportation.

I'm rating the hotel only. Nice rooms, large breakfast buffet. A/C in the rooms could be more powerful in summer months. No satisfactory solution for charging electric cars (standard electric plug to be used, providing only about 1.6 kW).

The facilities where very good. The dinner was not good and not worth the price. The bath was not very clean and the air condition was very noisy and not very cold. The cashier in the pool Restaurant fast food were not nice and they talked about us in Hungarian. The guy in checkout reception was very nice. And asked how do we feel.

The park itself was very nice for kids (event the pool restaurant surprised us) but we do not recommend staying at the hotel. It looks like they don't like strangers, and even when I complained to the hotel management (both through reception and through a direct email) about the bartender who just wouldn't talk to me in English, he didn't even respond.

We did enjoy our stay at the Continental Hotel and the venue was beautiful. Small details like chocolates in the room upon arrival were lovely. Overall however, I would not be confident recommending this stay to family and friends looking for a 4 star hotel or above. This is a 3 star hotel with some added bonuses like the spa. The shower in our original room leaked and flooded the entire bathroom....

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible. Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed. Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good. The manager went out of her way to please, even recommending her favorite desserts.. Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and charming. We recommend both the hotel and the restaurant.

Fantastic Hotel. We stayed in room 606, which was stunning. The Spa is beautiful and so relaxing. The breakfast was amazing. We had four nights, which was perfect to see Budapest. The location of the hotel is perfect, you can walk to most attractions. Loved the hotel and had a fabulous stay.

As part of a large group that stayed here, we were very happy with the rooms, the service and the breakfast. The staff was extremely helpful and the hotel is beautiful. Oct '24 We were able to walk to restaurants and other attractions. We would stay again in the future.

Clean and presentable bedroom, staff were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. We walked everywhere, did not use public transport which wasn’t an issue. Didn’t eat at the hotel so unable to comment on food. Used the spa and had treatments which were lovely and reasonably priced.

We had an excellent stay at the mystery hotel. Every member of staff was attentive and helpful throughout our stay. Rooms were super clean and well-appointed. Rooftop bar was really nice and we finished each evening there for a nightcap. Spa amenities and massage services were all top notch as well. When we come back to Budapest, we will not even consider a different hotel. 🙂

Used to be very good, the classic hotel. BEWARE: Unfortunately not anymore. Spa used to be included, not now. In short: Now too expensive, breakfast not included, room standard not up to date. Stayed in the hotel for one night. Rooms are clean, not very spacious. The location is good, not too far away from the center. The hotel prepared a complimentary cake and champagne for birthday, which was very nice of them! It'a nice to stay 1 or max 2 days to relax however relaxation at the pool is dependent on the events they have with big groups of people. When we stayed there there were alot of people staying by the pool when going out for breaks from a conference room. Pool water clean, spa is small but nice. Breakfast good. Unfriendly staff except the lady from the welness area. She was super nice.

We travelled as a family of 4 (mother, grandmother, 2 kids) and booked the suite with balcony. The room interior and bathroom was lovely and the balcony really spacious. It had a beautiful view on the garden. We booked the breakfast which was good. They had enough options for kids too. Within the restaurant you can find a little play corner for smaller children. I had a great business trip to Budapest in December. The staff (particularly a gentleman named Akos) was amazing and super attentive towards my needs. The room service and location were great as well. The bar was fantastic and the bartender Oliver, was so gentlemanly and kind. I loved it so much. Only recommendation is that the hot tub could be a bit more hot!

We were able to check in early, which was convenient after a really long flight, though we did receive a street view instead of the city view we’d hoped for. Stayed here for one night, and was pleased to receive very generous elite recognition as Titanium. Staff were omnipresent, attentive, and cordial. The room was spacious and pristine (my only complaint - the carpeting is a touch dated, even if in fair condition). Breakfast was excellent (try the shakshuka). Altho pricey, everything was nearly perfect. Except for housekeeping who didnt clear debris and hair from the shower drainage. So for 2 consecutive days, we had to shift to the bathtub in the middle of the shower. The bottom of the toilet was also uncleaned properly. Spa, gym and most of all the New York Cafe was an experience to stay in the hotel for. No need to queue.

Water pressure for bath room is very low which needs to upgrade.  No notice of swimming pool is not allow to swim and I was asked to stop swimming.

Rooms in the main hotel building are a bit dated and can be loud in the mornings due to the music from the NY Cafe.
