We stayed here on our honeymoon on a tour. Amazing service! Great food and wine! Great location! Highly recommend. Rooms are cozy, very comfortable, food is regional and fantastic and the breakfast is great!
The girl on the front desk (sadly we didn’t get her name) was friendly yet really professional. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best we’ve had in Budapest (and we’ve ate at a good 8+ places at this point)
This has ended our use of Airbnb after staying here. They have a luggage drop so you can still explore the city on your day off departure, amazing! Amazing stay and topped off our trip
The best nights sleep we’ve had in two weeks, the bed was comfy, air con was nice and cool. If we return to Budapest we’ll be staying here & i’d recommend it to anyone that comes here
Great hotel for a holiday ana business. Great location and very comfortable rooms. Food in the restaurant is delicious. Staff in all hotel areas was very nice and helpful
We booked an Airbnb and it was disgustingly dirty, left shortly after and found this, we booked this room at the front desk and it was spotless

Great stuff. Wonderful rooms and breakfast was the best. The hotel is close to new york cafe and the metro station is just in front of the hotel.
Carpets could use a deep cleaning here and there but overall it’s fine. It’s also kinda loud outside at night and the AC was not working in our room, so we had to sleep with the window open
A hotel in the VII district of Budapest. Is a good place, convenient to reach and near to airport and the center. The rooms are good but small and the stuff is friendly and helpful
Great location, 300m away from the Metro station. Stuff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not the newest and cleanest one you’ll see but it’s not dirty either
The breakfast choice could’ve been better
Okay location, okay breakfast, kinda okay rooms and okay service. Nothing that’ll blow your mind away but nothing terrible either. Just a very old ordinary hotel that’s crying for renovation.

The entrance to the building and hallway is grand and welcoming. The SPA pool area is excellent and very relaxing. The rooms are nice clean, quiet and most importantly the beds are comfortable
The separate elevator entrance to the SPA is appreciated. The hotel is in a very good location with many places to eat in the area. All staff in the hotel are extremely polite and helpful
The room had an elegant interior design with classic elements, it was very spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I had a gorgeous view of the rest of the building from our window
To my surprise the beauty of the city was breathtaking and the hotel is 5 star in my book. Every guest treated like royalty. You must put this city on your bucket list to visit
The staff were friendly and warm, great breakfast buffet, and beautiful THE ROYAL SPA was very relaxing, spending the evening there after a long day of walking in the city, nothing was rushed and a very well chilled out atmosphere
Very good selection for breakfast which can be taken either in the restaurant or the atrium. Located in easy walking distance of many main attractions. Tram stop right in front of the hotel

Very beautiful and good establishment. There are many slides for different tastes and age-old categories. Nice restaurant where you can have a delicious meal
Great family friendly hotel. Great value for money. We stayed 5 days and it was relaxing for grown ups and exciting for kids. We will definitely return.
It’s evident that this hotel was once grandiose, but time has taken its toll. The large complex with pools is impressive in size, but there are more outside visitors than hotel guests, which gives the place a cheap feel
Breakfast was somewhat better. A positive note goes to the area with table tennis, billiards, and Xbox, but even here, many things are broken or not functioning. The rooms are decent but also show signs of aging
But i do not think that the policy of your hotel is in favor for foreign tourists. In my case where i am dépendant of taxi and air flight, i was not in a confortable situation on my checkout
The sunbeds are in terrible condition, and towels are not provided at the pool entrance—you have to bring small towels from your room. It feels more like a public pool than a hotel complex

Staff were very friendly and service was very professional. So glad I stayed here with my friends and was lovely coming back after a long day of sightseeing. Booked a relaxing massage which was also professional.
Room was upgraded from twin to double room executive for free due to overbooking - can't complain! Vegan food provided upon request - amazing rice and veggie tofu stir fry for dinner and lovely salad for lunch which included a true surprise of few little vegan petite cakes - happy lucky me! Bedroom was clean, bedding smelled fresh and all overall was great
Good quality hotel located in an excellent location within the West End Shopping centre, and adjacent to the railway station. Easy walking distance to many of the top attractions plus inumerable bars and restaurants
Nicely appointed rooms, easygoing atmosphere, pleasant bar area with food available and extremely helpful and friendly staff in all areas of the hotel. Would I stay there again? Yes without any hesitation!
When i travel to Budapest my default place to stay is the Hilton Budapest City hotel. It is conveniently located, being a 20 minute walk to the Danube River with another 10 minute walk to Buda Castle
Very spacious rooms (I was upgraded to a suite) and a rooftop executive lounge with a decent selection of food and drinks (big plus for the outside terrace with views on Parliament)

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! The staff were really friendly and everything is within walking distance of the hotel. The saunas and pool are easily accessible
The facilities of the hotel are great. Our room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was amazing, had a lot of variety and the food was of great quality. The location of the hotel is really convenient
Unfortunately the outdoor pool had closed during our stay. The only issue we had was that we had 2 single beds pushed together with 2 single quilts and would have preferred an actual double bed
The manager went out of her way to please, even recommending her favorite desserts. Our waiter, Peter, was attentive and charming. We recommend both the hotel and the restaurant
The best thing about the hotel were the staff members. All the staff members in every post were highly professional, extremely helpful, very polite and very friendly
Lovely hotel not far from the great synagogue in Budapest. Full services, great breakfasts. Their restaurant, Araz, was exceptionally good

The staff were helpful throughout our stay, our room spotless and well stocked. The hotel pool is just right for a dip when sitting up on the roof. You are provided with pool towels at the spa reception
Lots of hidden beds dotted about. It's not a place to be sunbathing by the pool which some fellow guests had believed. We used it 5-7pm when returning from the day before going out in the evening
The hotel is situated in a lovely position if you want to walk, which we did regularly. The metro is close and easy to navigate thanks to leaflets from the hotel
I promise you once you arrive here you find it hard to leave specially front desk and all sector my highest appreciation to the management This hotel should be award Winning hotel by tourism Industrially
Hotel was very nice including the room. Front desk service was very attentive. Convenient location adjacent to the Danube River and all the major sites
When the taxi dropped us off, I did have a panic from the outside appearance. However, pushing through the door was into luxury. Beautiful hotel with its own history and greeted by wonderful staff

Everything was simply perfect : The best location. The room was very big and perfectly planned for maximum functionality. The bed was so good that I slept very well. The staff was absolutely the best that I ever met
Went above and beyond to make us comfortable and happy. Also, the breakfast, the restaurant, and the bar were perfect. Highly recommend hotel !!! and I'm a frequent traveler
Exceptional hotel! We stayed here, Marriott and Intercontinental but Kempinski set the bar very high! It’s elegant and so welcoming you get the feeling the team love their jobs which is an attribute to the management! The room was clean and sleek and spacious! Breakfast was great quality and the coffee mmm tasty… The spa is beautiful I had a treatment, katy was my therapist and she gave a brilliant...
Great location(we were able to walk to almost everything) would highly recommend for business or pleasure
waiter Benjamin, in the breakfast area, was a delight! His service was exceptional. His attention to detail was profound. Compliments to him and you for hiring him. He’s a great asset to your hotel
The people are so dedicated, the chef was at dinner and lunch with us to see if everything is ok, every night the bed was prepared for night in a very special mode. Was for the first time when I saw a such service

Pool was not warm enough, my child start shaking after 15min :( Infrared sauna wasn't working. Pool is working Mon-Fr till 21h, on weekends only until 20h. Metro is really close, price for single ride 450 HUF
Great view from upper floors, very good restaurant in the lobby. Astonishing breackfast food selection! Alot of different hungarian vegetarian and meat dishes, fruits and sweet pastry. We will galdly come back next time
The staff was extremely professional and polite, the room was clean and had everything that we needed. They also left us a bottle of water, a few bags of Coffee and sugar as well as different Teabags
Some parts of a hotel (for example canteen, bar and reception) need renovation, because time there has stopped probably 20 years ago. Good location, by the stadium and next to the subway station
Best Hotel under 100€ room / night I ever found!Alot of cheap parking spots around - 7€ day. Red metro station 1 minute walk - 7€ / 24 hours ticket. Very clean and nice equiped rooms
Super friendly staff at reception and everywhere. Breakfast is delicious, freshly cooked and plenty. Dinner was marvellous and I can only recommend to enjoy the great taste

I have been only in the lobby and the bar. Friendly and polite international staff, clean and cosy place. If you need they have a private parking lot for a fair price (approximately 1 euro/hour).
It is an ok hotel to spend one night, but not more. It is far from the city center and you need a car to get there (or use the public transportation). It is definitely not a 4 star hotel and everything is a bit outdated
The service and food at the River Bar was excellent! Daniel and his team are doing a great job taking care of their guests. It all feels very warm and welcoming. I got one of the best Gulasch I had ever had. Thank you!
We stayed here for two nights during the 120th Anniversary celebration of Harley Davidson Motorcycles. The staff was very professional and courteous
There was a small issue at the beginning of our stay but the staff resolved it quickly in a very satisfactory manner

Very pleasant and modern hotel no complaints at all yet but it wasn't cheap so expected it to be good I only downside with the prostitutes are often seen standing outside on the riverbank nearest and told to move on by the hotel staff
Amazing Location, the view from the rooms is breath taking. Breakfast buffet has a very good variety. Shopping area is 7 min walking distance. Tram is just infront of the hotel
Great place to stay in Budapest. Hotel is in a great location right on the Danube and offers spectacular views of the city. Staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean
Everything is great - location, views, beds/rooms, lobby and outdoor seating areas, and the breakfast buffet is one of the best I’ve ever been to! It’s massive
Can’t ask for a better spot to be stationed while exploring Budapest. And every single person who works there is wonderful, great customer service
Very pleasant atmosphere, attentive waiters and managers, the beautiful panorama of the historic centre of the Buda side with a lovely backlight!

Sofitel is our first time experience wonderful and not just because of the location (hotel is located in the city center), staff professional at her job, very pleasant to communicate with employees,in General, All at a high level, we liked it
It was not the first time I chose the hotel's restaurant for dinner. I love the atmosphere! The food is always delicious and the service is excellent! The staff is always smiling, all of them are very helpful
Professional team, nice people, super clean, Great location and amazing customer service ever!! and good food!!! what else can we ask for? They will help you and guide you for perfect vacation or business trip
Stayed in a family suite over the Christmas holidays, and loved it. I don't get the mixed reviews. We found the staff to be exceptionally helpful and the hotel dining (breakfast and Paris Cafe) to be great
I would like to highlight Jenny's work which was beyond our expectations. When she overheard that we celebrated my father's birthday she made a small surprise for him putting a candle into his dessert
The TVs in the rooms were a little wonky, but we weren't exactly sitting around watching TV. One thing to be aware of - there's a little casino in the hotel that was fun if you have a little extra time to kill

It’s so close to the castle and overlooks the river! We received a warm welcome from Leonard at the front desk- sometimes Hungarian customer service isn’t super warm even when the service is excellent
Wonderful hotel, very gracious staff at the front desk, restaurant, breakfast buffet, and cleaning staff. Rooms are very well appointed, spacious, comfortable, and easy to plug in and charge devices
Breakfast was amazing every morning, often fueling us all the way to dinner each day! It was unfortunate that the "closing" time of the restaurant is listed as 11pm, but the kitchen stops cooking at 1030pm, and we were denied a table at 1020pm when all we wanted was dessert
The views from the restaurant look out over Fisherman's Bastion, and it's just like a fairy tale. Would definitely stay here again, and enjoyed the location relative to the popular tourist sights!
The views were amazing across the river. Great location for walking around and full of history. We had a late night snack in the restaurant that was delicious! Friendly staff and beautiful rooms
The young women in the morning at the executive lounge were really darling to us. Our room was well appointed, super comfortable beds & the bathroom had a shows and tub & all the amenities

Good breakfast and clean rooms. Position is perfect for visiting Budapest with metro or tram. Nice view of the park. Acceepts pets and they have also smoking rooms.
Great hotel for the price-quality ratio. Lovely breakfasts. Juices, fruit, excellent coffee and pastries. Omelettes porridge yoghurt dried fruits.good sausages cheeses. Great pool and sauna.
The buffet breakfast was good, there was a lot of fresh fruit and choice of other savoury things. The swimming pool and sauna were great
Lovely hotel with a sauna and a warm pool. Really enjoyed the view from my room. Small elevators but that's okay
The room size is quite large, but the bed is a coffee table, two armchairs, a dressing table, closet with kitchenette, a safety Deposit box. There should be a pool, but with my busy work schedule to the pool never came
Quite a large selection of different Breakfast dishes. But there was a smell of smoke in the corridors, although in the hotel there are signs banning Smoking. Understands and speaks English

It is great value and the breakfast generous and a good variety. Staff are very friendly, engaging and helpful. I highly recommend this hotel
Neat, marvelous location and large variety in the breakfast menu. I would have given it 100% if the first receptionist who checked me in was honest with me
Very good classical Novotel brand with a very good location. ~25 minutes walk to Danube River. Metro line - in 3 minutes walk, in 3 stops to the Parlament House. Even non-renovated rooms are clean and of good quality
He tried to push me to pay for higher deluxe room rates claiming no standard rooms available. However, I managed to get a standard room via Booking. com in a minute in front of him
The location is good, there’s lots of buses right outside that take you into District V. The Klimt hotel bar is a little on the pricey side but not out of line for hotel bar prices, the Aperol spritz was pretty good
I was very apprehensive after reading the negative reviews here, but luckily my stay was great and without incident. I stayed in the Executive Double Room which was spacious with a nice view onto the Main Street

There’s a really nice park a minute away from the hotel, a variety of restaurants and nice gelato ! Would really recommend and can’t wait to go again! I will say this…photos on website made some rooms look smaller then they actually were but over all really nice feel to the hotel and neighbourhood
Clean, comfortable hotel serves good breakfast to set you up for the day. Short walk to public transport network. The hotel is situated in a pleasant, quieter street. As a traveller accommodated all our needs
Amazing hotel in a lovely part of Budapest!! Loved the walk to and from the hotel, not too busy but also fairly lively. Feels safe and comfortable around there
The hotel staff were also all lovey and helpful
An additional perk was the controllable air conditioning, ensuring a comfortable room temperature during our stay. It's worth noting that the walls could be a bit thin
We occasionally heard noise from neighboring rooms, especially in the mornings. However, considering the hotel's overall value for money, this wasn't a major drawback

The dining room is a good size and was never full.   Breakfast operates up until 10am and they ask for your room number on entry.   They have a swimming pool, hairdressers and sauna but never used any of them
Unsure of what to expect of Hungary but was very surprised of this pleasant, relaxed hotel by the river.   The airport in Amsterdam had lost my luggage so pressure eased by the welcoming staff at this hotel
They also have several meeting rooms but never viewed any of them either.   The only down side was my luggage which had arrived at the hotel and I was not informed of this by any staff
I only found out by checking with reception the next day.   Housekeeping visited the room everyday but it was dusty under the bed.   The staff are helpful and are always on hand
Checkin was straightforward and the rooms are a decent size and comfortable.   Breakfast doesn't have loads of choice but they do have a decent selection of fruit and pastries
I enjoyed my visit eventhough I didn't have my suitcase for the first 3 nights

In the basement they had bowling area. Gym, swimming pool, salt room, sauna room. but unfortunately the broken wall repaired with duct tape. And the other room, the door handle was fall down if you close the door
I was with my family for a few days around Christmas, so the hotel was full, and this did not bother us at all because we had peace (very good sound proof), enough space and very good food at breakfast, and every day we found a parking place
I stayed here for 5 days to attend a conference this November, the facilities, staff and experience were great. There was a few issues with elevators and room keys, but I can't fault the service at all
I was pleasantly surprised to be named guest of the day and to receive some attention from the hotel for which I thank you. So a very good hotel that I recommend and we will definitely come back
Very nice hotel close to the city centre. The people and the team are always happy to help. I would also like to say a massive thank you to Adam, from the bar near the reception

Exe Budapest Hotel offers great value with its excellent location, good service, and amenities. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy
While the rooms aren’t very modern and the furniture is a bit dated, everything is well-maintained. The beds are very comfortable, and they provide slippers and a dental set. Overall, a great stay for the price!
Lots of restaurants, supermarkets, fast food places and 5 minutes away from the lively Jewish quarter
